I was still wondering what's gonna happen but Mr Wilson asked me to be silent. I crossed my legs and started to watch the act carefully. Mr Wilson had some documents in hands.

Jack - So, who is Mary Thomson ?

A girl came forward.

Mary - Here, sir

Jack - So what had you become till now ?

Mary - I don't understand sir.

Jack - Tell me what's your position here ?

Mary - Sir I'm an intern here

Jack - But your mouth don't seems like an intern ! DON'T YOU HAVE WORK ! Are you employed as a gossip girl here ! If so then get lost !

Mr Wilson voice was so loud that it made Mary trembled and frightened of him.

Charles - Sir you can't talk to Mary like that ! She also had dignity !

Jack - Oh so you're gonna teach me how to respect !

Mr Wilson walked to Charles and slapped him on the face. His slap was so violent that it made Charles face turn red. All the people in the was shocked. Including me. I stood up to stop the act.

Jack - Sit Charlotte ! I said sit !

But his angry words made me shivered again and get in my brain to sit again.

Jack - Now let me give you a surprise Charles. You are fired ! You had no place here anymore !

Charles - Pardon me

Charles fall on his knees and started begging Mr Wilson. He was worried about losing his job. He started crying.

Jack - Security !

Two people in security guards dress came and pulled Charles up and let him out of the office.

Jack - And you both pack your bags. You are fired.

Both the girls were astonished. They had paid such a huge debt for a mistake. They both left the office in shame. It was really hard for a intern to lose his first job. I had also suffered through it. Mr Wilson really does it for me ! I walked to him.

Charlotte - Th..... thanks Mr Wilson for your concern.

He hit on my head and asked.

Jack - Little immature ..... You cried because of this piece of cake. You are such a cry baby.

I smiled.

Jack - But you have to do one thing.

No ! I was thinking he was kind but now I have to repay him !

Charlotte - What ?

Jack - Cook at my home tonight.

Charlotte - Cooking ? hahaha why not ?

Jack - Then get back to work. We will go to the mall to buy the ingredients later.

Charlotte - Mr Wilson but they are new interns. It will be very hard for them to lose a internship. Can you not fire them ?

I looked at him with hopeful eyes.

Jack - If that so I will call them in a week.


Charlotte - Thanks

I jumped at Mr Wilson and hugged him tightly. I totally forgot that he was still my boss. I smiled happily and get back to work.

At 8pm

Mr Wilson came after the meeting soon.

Jack - Let's go

I took my bag and hurried to the car. I thought of making Pork Rind Oyster when working in the office. I started counting the ingredients that I needed. We reached at the mall .....
