The Adventurer System

An extreme heat touched on their skins after they reached the entrance on the ninth floor. It seemed this situation wasn't ordinary as their sweats were rapidly rolling down into their body.

Yumiro used his index finger to check if his hands could open this gate.

Shhh!

Since his finger was wet because of the sweat, sounds of steam perceived by their ears, and the white smoke quickly evaporated into the atmosphere.

"I can't push it..." Yumiro said with a low voice as he felt his kind of heat could badly burn his hands.

"Then use a quick force, where your parts won't remain in the same position for too long." Asarki suggested.

By her words, Yumiro immediately had an idea of what process he needed to use. However, Asarki stopped him once more.

"Wait, do you have any plan for how you will defeat the monster inside?" Asarki asked and attained a much closer distance to Grim Draigh.

He shook his head while slowly closing his eyes at the same time. "To be honest, I don't have any plan here. But, I still have useful monster's core." He said with a weak tone as he even knew how he could explain it.

"Eh?! Monster's core! How it can help in this situation." She raised her voice as she thought this man was out of his mind.

"Never mind..." Yumiro said with a stolid expression, then positioned 2 meters away from the red gate. Before he continued his plan, he took a glance at his behind. "Step back."

After hearing his words, Asarki nodded and stepped back with 8 meters distance within Yumiro.

As soon as Yumiro saw the area was clear, he stretched his legs with a smirk on his face.

Then suddenly a red gleaming light occurred all over his body, it was inside that passing through his veins. It seemed Yumiro gathering this power in one position.

When the casting of skill was ready, he dashed directly to the red gate.

Swoosh!

In 2 meters distance, he promptly raised his gleaming left foot to the mid-level and straightforward it with a massive force.

Boom!

The red gate whacked to the backboard, and where it was built seemed to be collapsed. Dust dripping on the edges, but it wasn't their main problem because after the gate opened tremendous steam blew to their face.

"What the heck! I feel my body is gonna melt." Yumiro crossed his arms and seeing his feet were slid back little by little.

While Asarki hardly leaned her back on the wall and his feet also pushing forward, so she could prevent her body to blow by the strong force.

"Come on... Stop now..." Asarki gritted her teeth as she felt she couldn't last with her position.

Bam!

After few seconds, when everything blew away the tremendous steam stopped. And now, Yumiro's body had a first-degree burn.

Asarki was slowly dripping onto the wall.

When she landed, she quickly charged towards as she saw his conditions. "Inventory!" She took one HP potion, to help him to recover from the damages. But the thing that happened was different, her eyelids widened while her mouth was widely opened as she was shocked by what she saw on the elevated blue view screen.

"It's impossible... How she had so much health power?!" However, she still bestowed the transparent tube that had red liquid inside.

In her mind, this was impossible to have a big amount of health power. She might be understood if he was a tank or fighter that put all their free attributes in their ability. Yet, this man had high agility and strength that could easily annihilate the monster's existence even an adventurer.

"Tell me, what class did you really have?" She murmured.

Gulp! Gulp!

While Yumiro drinking the HP potion, he stared at her. He wiped his mouth to remove some potion on his lips, then asked her.

"What is it?" Although he fully heard what kind of words she said, he still asked her.

She uncontrollably shook her head since she knew asking others for power was inappropriate behavior inside the VR world. "It's nothing, Grim."

Yumiro frowned his brows but didn't mind her words. "Okay, let's keep moving." He took the lead of this expedition as he knew Asarki won't survive if there was massive damage occurred.

In his front, the whole place was enveloped by smoke, it was enough reason to didn't have a vision in some spots. However, the main problem here was the extreme heat since it could easily drain their fatigue.

He strolled around his eyes, to find the precise location of a certain monster inside the ninth floor. But, before he was able to find it, Asarki already pointed her index finger at the glowing violet eyes of the monsters.

"G-Grim, look at that?" She said with a terrified voice.

6 violet gleaming eyes saw by them, and probably it was equivalent for 3 monsters. The new monsters were slowly revealing themselves while the dried ground seemed to melt.

In front of them, the monsters were had shining red scales way more looked like it shines because of the tremendous heat. However, its body had a texture of curvy, or to be exact its body was full of rock like a golem. It has long tails, 4 gigantic feet, and it seemed in high defense.

In this situation, Yumiro wondered what kind of monster's core he needed to use.

"I should use the salamander core? Or the knight core?" Since he used some of the cores, he was bothered if he still could earn money by this.

"What now?" Asarki asked him with a low voice.

The main problem on the ninth floor was the place was so hot, and the ground had some rock that melted, way more looked like magma. One wrong move, Yumiro's health power could be drained in an instant.

This monster was the first evolution of the salamanders which specialized in making dominant damage.

"Grim, I have a suggestion." Asarki said.

"What is it?" He replied.

"These monsters had thick scales, so I prefer to aim the directly to their core." She said while looking at the monsters' chest.

Yumiro nodded as he agreed with her plan, aside from that, there was a possibility his knife wouldn't penetrate in monsters scales.

"If you say so..."
