The Adventurer System

Chapter 159 - Letter

Yumiro stood up and patted his clothes. He glanced at the place and said. "I should end this."

He wrapped his hands around his waist and jumped down.

Swoosh!

He continued to complete this quest alone. Defeating 24 more Gobogrens was quite hard since there was a tendency they could surround him at once.

"I should pick my fight wisely, I need to dominate with them no matter what." He murmured.

Wandering in a place that full of traps planted and powerful monsters would take time. However, the good thing here was no one successfully clear this quest neither the dungeon. This means this expedition would have big benefits to him in every aspect.

In around 21 meters distance, there's a two-path headed in a different direction. The high wall around him was the main reason why he couldn't see anything so it's hard to predict the monster there.

He stopped, then darting his eyes on each side. He frowned his brows as the place was clear and no sign of dangerous existence.

Yumiro looking in a confusion. "Which path? I should think wisely here. There's no time for more mistakes."

Nevertheless, this was the type of situation that was hard to decide. So he slowly closed his and spin around.

"There!" He carefully went to the right side.

In this place, only the numerous magical crystal plastered on the wall the thing helped him to glance around.

"Once I complete this quest, I can acquire new skills. Also, increase all my basic status."

Eehk! Eehk!

After 12 minutes of strolling in the straight path, Yumiro finally sensed a suspicious sound closer to him.

"This is the time." He raised his guard, he then bounced a bit to increase his speed, and ready his body from the upcoming skirmish.

Boom! Boom!

Seemingly the monsters couldn't wait to kill, as they starting to make a move. Parts of the wall shattered all over the area.

"Tch! I can't see anything."

Because of the exceeded speed of the new monsters, it was hard for him to identify their appearance.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

His spot was covered by thick smoke, so Yumiro had now zero visibility with the place. Yet, the scattering of the wall was continuously immersed.

To be more simple, the monsters were possessed by extraordinary speed and strength that enough reason to crumble the place.

"Now!"

When that moment, Yumiro felt the monster was coming closer to him. He slid back and raised his left foot that the same level as his head.

[Physical transmission!]

He used his buff's skill to gather his physical strength. He then immediately released it with full speed.

Boom!

His eyelids were widened when he felt his attack just touched the air and shook the ground.

"What the heck is that?" He blinking his red eyes in surprise. As he discovered how the monster that had white fur successfully dodge his attack.

Or to be exact, when his left heel nearly touched the monster's head. It used its legs to change its trajectory while in the mid-air. It seemed this monster had a hard object that stepping in.

Swish!

Since the monster was intimidated by his attack, then now it was sliding on the surface.

"How it became possible? But that isn't my main problem here. I should focus on these two monsters." Yumiro murmured, then draw his fighting stance.

He quickly pointed his index finger into it, and new basic information appeared right before his eyes.

[Cosmo Rabbit]

- Monster type <Close combat fighter>

- By using its speed it can dominate in combat.

- 3 meters height

"Damn it! This a short information on how I could fight the monster with this?" He clicked his tongue, then glared at the monster with furious eyes.

In front of him, a rabbit had a white full, red blade on its arms, red eyes, and 3 meters in height.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

The monster started to make uncontrollably movements. Which made it hard for Yumiro to anticipate their attack with full speed.

He took a deep breath to clear his mind from the thoughts that gave him a hard time thinking clearly.

His eyes were rolling around as he wanted to could follow up with their speed. However, it just made him dizzy.

"Inventory!" Yumiro grabbed the Grete sword, then pointed it in front of him. "Come on over here, I'll make sure I'll cut you into pieces."

Although he can't perfectly saw them, he had an idea where precise spot it will probably arrive.

Boom! Boom! Swish! Swish!

The two Cosmo rabbits attack him at once, so he raised his guard. Knowing that he needed to avoid receiving some damages in his vitals points.

Swish! Swish!

He promptly swung his blue sword on each side, yet the same thing that just happened. Those monsters were easily dodged his attacks by shifting their trajectory.

Clang! Clang!

However, Yumiro had high elevated speed than the monsters. So he was able to dodge the attack.

"They just have excellent speed, but their strength isn't enough to push him back."

[Physical transmission!]

[Inflict!]

He suddenly cast a skill that had a different class. But, it way more looked like suited from him.

[Dash]

To catch up with their speed, he increased his agility and charged directly the monsters.

Swoosh!

Seemingly monster was surprised, so it unexpectedly slashes its blade.

-48

He took a small cut on his arm, as sacrificing his right arm to open the monster's guard was a good plan.

Swish!

His Grete sword penetrated to the monster's chest, then swung it upward to easily drained the monster's body.

"Ahh!" He was bothered as he received some damage to his back. Since another monster used his blind spot to inflict its blade.

His face was filled with blood, but he quickly wielded his sword while spinning around.

Swish!

Yumiro cut the monster's neck in an instant and more blood with a rotten smell splashed into it.

[You've received 170 experienced from killing the two Cosmo rabbits!]

As soon as he seized the monsters' core, a new screen flashed his eyes.

[Dropped item!]

+1 synergy stone

+2 Cosmo fur

The cosmo fur is a resource to create an attire, by using this it can give you +15 agility and +34 physical defense. Having a stat like this is the best way in the early expedition.

"It's better to wouldn't have."

He placed it inside his inventory, then thinking all the monsters here didn't consist of Gobogren. To be exact, his problem he might exhaust with other species of monsters.

"This is a problem, I should avoid the other monsters. But the exp is just a wasted."

At this point, he was in the confusion. However, he proceeded in his expedition.

"Sheesh! I should focus on my quest."

...

On the other side, a man with a red cup and holding envelope knocked on a wooden door couple of times.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"A good afternoon there's a delivery from the Wing company!" A man yelled so someone could hear his voice.

Yet, no one responded to him even he waited for 5 minutes. The sunlight touched all over his body which made him to felt uncomfortable.

30 minutes earlier, the head manager of the Wing company arrived in the not spacious room.

"Shigi, I have an important task for you. Come over here." The head manager said while making a gesture.

"What I can help you, Mr. Ford?" Shigi responded to him with a polite tone.

Ford kept tapping his desk with his fingers. "A new important letter arrive in our company. It personally orders by Mr. Asrashki Tusei to me."

Shigi dumbfounded at him. "Uh-Eh? Why the successful businessman orders you."

"I even know, he just no one must know about this. Since they are just invading that man's privacy. Your task is to deliver this letter to this address." Ford said, then pointed his finger at the letter address.

He nodded without hesitation. "Yes, Mr. Ford leave this job to me. This an easy for me." He confidently responded.

Ford raised his one finger, seemed like he was warning this man. "But, you will not just drop this in this mailbox. Just like I said, Mr. Asrashki wants to send this letter to this man no matter what."

...

Back to Shigi, his head was started to itchy as he was standing under the sunlight for 30 minutes.

"What is this letter for? And why Mr. Arashki interested in him?" He saw an old house, so he could easily the man who lives here wasn't wealthy like the other businessman.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

He hardly knocked on the door, as it was looked like going to destroy.

"Oi! Anyone's home?!"

Click!

Then suddenly, a young woman had silky black hair appeared behind the door. She was glaring at him while holding a VR helmet.

Shigi already knew this woman was playing the game. So he bowed his head to apologize. "Sorry for bothering you at this moment."

Amiya recognized this man was a delivery boy. "Jeez! Do you plan to break our door?" She said in a high tone. "What is it? Come on tell me I'm busy."

"I'm so sorry, but there's an important letter for Yumiro Gritz."

She started to calm, then caught her scrutiny. "Important letter, for my brother? What is it?"

"I don't even know, they just ordered me to deliver this. Where is he? So I can give this letter to him."

"He's kinda busy, give it to me. I'll give it to him later." She planned to grab the envelope but Shigi avoids it.

"Oh, I'm sorry again, but let me see your I.D first. So you can assure me that you're his sister." He had an uneasy smile on his face.

Amiya was startled as this man acting strange. "Wait for me here."

After a few seconds, she came back and brought her school I.D. "Here."

"Yes, thank you." He read the I.D. "Amiya Gritz, Okay. Just sign it so we have proof that you received the letter."

Amiya hurriedly signs the paper. "Thank you so much, but I'm in a hurried goodbye!" She closed the door.

"A letter for my brother? This is strange." Yet, she remembered her important business. "I'll ask him later."
