The Adventurer System

After Grim passed the Trivial soldiers that were lying on the surface, he unexpectedly stopped. Seeing Hippie made a big gap to him in just a blink of an eye.

He whistled as he was astonished by it. "Flashy moves, huh..."

However, it wasn't the catchy part since he was standing beside the loot chest. So at this point, he was choosing to open the chest or give a backup to Hippie?

"It can't be helped, I think I could find an answer if opened it." He mumbled, then promptly sauntered towards the loot chest.

It was 2 meters away from him, as soon as he reached it. He didn't waste any amount of time to open it by using his bare hands.

[Unlocked the chest! Please use the key!]

A red screen kept flickering in his eyes, as he continuously receiving a notification came from the system.

"Darn it! Just a waste of time." He said in a low voice, then immediately pushed himself into a stood-up position.

[Dash!]

Swoosh!

Assortment of magical power occurred in the place where Hippie was standing. So Yumiro raised his brows a bit as he felt worried.

"Where I can find the chest's key, huh? This game making me annoyed." He gritted his teeth while strolling his eyes just to find Hippie's precise location. "There!"

Bam!

His Sipad boots were screeching on the surface as he forced himself to atop the swift moment he had. "How's the situation here--"

In a short time, Hippe was already full of scratches all over her body and a deep wound on her waist part. Moreover, Hippie's cut was quite different as her wound releasing violet smoke.

"Grim, those monsters are beyond my expectations." She said in a weak tone.

By looking at her, you could notice she was having a hard time spitting those words. Pain in her mind and fatigue were the main reason why Hippie became like this. Or to be exact, her mind kept telling those wounds were had severe pain.

Fighting your mind was the hard fight that an ordinary person could experience.

"All the humans should die!"

When the moment the Dark elf groaned, he berserk along with a massive explosion transpired around him.

Boom!

Yumiro noticed the two Hobgoblins next to the dark elf was having difficulty to stop themselves from flying.

So they cast green strings to the surface, it was sticky enough to restrain themselves in the meantime.

Yumiro positioned on Hippie's back. "Stand still, I'll finish it once this excessive force."

However, even him was slowly pushing back. 'How does this monster have a power like this?' He wondered.

"I'm sorry, Grim. I couldn't do anything to help you. I don't know and I'm confused why all the monsters here become stronger like this." Hippie murmured to him while seeing her HP reduce one health point for every 4 seconds.

His shoulders were suddenly raised as he remembered what he saw when the time monsters in the Dungeon Castle were turned into a stronger one.

"Don't tell me..."

[Versa ball!]

Another tremendous magical power was aiming at them. The speed was the same, so Yumiro was confident that he could dodge it.

"Inventory." In his grasp was the HP potions, and said. "Take this, then find a safe place."

Her eyelids were widened after seeing Grim's eyes were decided to fight those monsters by himself. "Thank you for those HP potions, Grim. But, we must fight together."

"I'm not telling you to not fight, just rest for a while and recovered some strength that you've lost. If you take so long in your recovery, I'll definitely annihilate those monsters."

He snickered and grabbed Hippie's armor, then threw it to the left corner of the platform.

"Hey! Hey! What are you doing?!" Hippie hastily said.

"You're too slow, this magic attack will hit us, idiot. Also, rest there and leave everything to me."

In an instant, almost 50% of health power was decreased. Now she understood why Grim moved her in this kind of place.

"I didn't notice it, once I receive one more attack. I wouldn't definitely survive." She sighed with relief.

[Magical poison inflicted! Your HP will be reduced 2 health points for every 5 seconds!]

She grinned as she was lucky for somehow. "It's time to rest if I keep moving this poison probably getting worse."

Magical poison could merge with her blood, which means keep moving the blood circulation became faster than the ordinary.

Gulp! Gulp!

She drank the two HP potions at once and almost recovered some of her health power. She then opened her function screen to send a message to Grim.

"I apologize, Grim. The violet smoke you saw earlier was poison which means I need to rest for 10 minutes. Do you think you could survive in that given time?" She politely uttered to her mind.

"Yeah, don't worry about me. Just sit there because you're blocking my way." He responded nonchalantly.

"Come on, Grim. You're really harsh, however, please survive." She smiled knowing Grim those words were not meant for her.

"You don't need to tell me that, this is what I'm doing right now."

Yumiro kicked the dark elf's left waist, but, he hit something metal on its body.

Swoosh!

Yumiro stepped back when the two Hobgoblin launched two [Fire ball] skills at once. Nevertheless, its size was enough to hit him. On top of that, he had a flexible body so it was easy for him to dodge it.

Swish! Swish!

After it passed to him, a small explosion transpired behind him. 'Even I close the distance, the Hobgoblin in the back pushed me away.' He uttered to his mind.

"Human, I'll kill of you!" The dark elf said, then his black robe barely raised because of the force he made.

Yumiro blinking his eyes in a confusion, seeing there was no any metal thing on the dark elf waste.

"Eh? What's going on? I'm sure about it, I hit metal."

"Come to me, Human! I'll give you a peaceful death."

To begin with, the dark elves pointed his head above along with his sharp dark nails. On his sides, was an eruption because of his magical power.

"I'm Drymir! The Dark Prince, human existence should be perished. Come to me, so you're not going to suffer."

Yumiro scratched the back of his head, as he felt annoyed by the repeated words of this monster. 

"Why are you so mad, huh?" To stop the monsters from attacking, he tried to approach Drymir.

"Human! Human! Human! Humans should not exist in this world." Even his nails pierced his neck, it seemed Drymir didn't care much about it. 

"Calm down, bastard! Why are you so mad about the humans?" He asked him once again.

"Human, annihilated the elve race. They are no left behind for us. After getting all they want, they were treating us like a trust. I can't accept it! I'll never accept it! You should vanish!"

[Physical transmission!]

[Dash!]

In an instant, Yumiro appeared in front of Drymir. Moreover, he already swung his left foot and aiming Drymir's neck.

"I said calm down, I'm not done to ask you, bastard--"

Clang!

In a short time, Yumiro committed an attack by using his outstanding speed. However, the same thing just happened as his attack hit again a metal thing.

"Darn it, why?" While his body elevating in the air, he twirled his body to launch a follow-up kick on the creature's head.

Clang!

His foot blade directly landed on the dark elf's forehead, but the metal kept appearing on the place where the adventurer attacks it.

A magic skill gathered in the monster's hand, so he kicked its chest to make a distance between them.

"W-Why? Even I increase my power, I can't destroy the metal." He stammered while staring at the dark elf with confused eyes.

"Do you already know the big difference between us, no physical damage could hit me. [My metallic transmission] skill are invincible."

Finally, Drymir initiated a conversation with Grim, yet, he had a malicious smile on his face as he was plotting for something.

"I heard it right, isn't it? Do we have relative skills? Even it's true, I'm amazed at this monster. He had great control over his skill. It started to become more interesting."

At this point, Yumiro luckily didn't feel discouraged in this circumstance or to be exactly the opposite feeling he felt.

"Now, surrender yourself, human! Before I lost my patience and brutally killed you." Drymir ordering him with a gruff tone.

"Eh? Why should I do that?" He mocked him and added. "Why you're the one who surrenders? I'm tired and I'm done using my power in a creature like you."

Drymir frowned at him while gritting his teeth at the same time. "You disrespected the Dark Prince, you should know the consequences."

[Arise!]

Then suddenly Yumiro was looking around as numerous monsters appeared beside him.

"Hehe, I'm just kidding. Why did you take it seriously."
