Hippie belonged to the swordman class and her zexel called [Fiery] where she can lighten up her body or weapon to increase the damage and speed that she had.

She was slowly taking the vast platform along with the thought that she must win this match to guarantee their position for the next match. At the same time, she was confident after receiving an item that she knew would have a big factor in this match.

[Bloody earring] it was the item bestowed by Asarki before the match start. This item can manipulate the blood of a certain adventurer or the monsters. But before that, she must create an opening by slashing the opponents the size doesn't matter since even a scratch was enough to activate this item.

Back to the vast marble platform. All the parts of the surface that were wrecked suddenly got back to their original state. To put it simply, the event personnel used a [Repairing magic] that can put back all the objects to their original after getting destroyed.

In front of her, was the man that had black hair, a long tongue, had black scales on each side of his eyes, and wearing a black robe. To describe this face, he had aggressive and she could easily this man would not do anything good by just looking at him.

His screen name was Orin level 29 Lancer. Lancer versus Swordsman but everyone was well aware which class was on the upper hand. Yes! It was the Lancer since the damage it can deal was way larger than the swordsman class could give. Aside from that, talking about the speed the audience was also taken by the Lancer-class.

Orin simply pushed forward his spear to see how does this woman would react to his attack. By doing this, he can think of an idea of how he can defeat this woman.

Hippie managed to dodge his attack. So now the spear was sliding through her sword and passing over her head. She felt that not something different with his attack as she thought the power he could give was not enough to push her back.

To open Orin's guard, Hippie pushed the sword upwards and Orin's arm lifted to the air while his upper body was open for an attack. Hippie stepped forward then used her [Fiery dance] skill to speed up and at the same time dodge the unexpected skill that would be released by her opponent.

Swoosh!

In an instant. Hippie was under Orin, having aggressive eyes. On top of that, her dark sword was narrowly gleaming after she used the [Fiery slash] to increase the damage. She swung again her sword upward, well savvy with Orin's current position it was impossible for him to dodge her attack.

And all of a sudden, Orin moved his body backward then used his left arm to punch Hippie's face.

Orin succeeded to dodge her attack. After that, Hippie's face was moving in the direction where the force pushed her. She was looked surprised as she had no idea where was that attack came from.

Red blood spilled out on the corner of her lips, nevertheless, she immediately got back to her fighting stance as she knew that would continue to attack.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

As expected, three consecutive attacks of Orin spears were rapidly coming at him. But thanks to her [Fiery] passive skill she was easily able to avoid the attack and create a distance within him that was around thirty-three meters.

'Hippie, why are you looking so tense, huh? Just calm down, don't make any aggressive plays, and try to analyze the situation.'

And all of a sudden, Hippie heard a deep voice of the man inside her head. She was certain that was Grim's voice and used the system function to send directly his message to her.

After that, she remembered the words said by Asarki back then. Her problem was her fighting style since she was just always attacking without anticipating what was her opponents could do.

'Sorry about that, Grim. I just think that I need to play aggressively since I didn't know when this man outmatches me.' She responded, still, never removed her gaze to her opponent.

'You think it can help you? You are just ruining the mental state. Just calm down and analyze the situation that's your key to winning in this match.' After he spits these words the system function faded away.

'Thanks, Grim, I'll try to do that.' She mumbled.

To begin with, she took a deep breath and let it out softly. After that, she held her sword with her bonds, thinking that she must create a small cut in this man so that she can activate her [Bloody earring].

After a few were moments. Orin made his moves that would start by rapidly running on the surface along with white blue magical power that coated his entire body.

At this point, she realized that she have a chance to match Orin's speed since the [Fiery] skill was here.

First, she dashed to the right side to bring the fight here. She planned to lure him in this side so that she can surprise him with her sneak attack.

Orin was chasing her for a couple of seconds until... Hippie quickly spun around, but Orin was already anticipated this as he positioned the endpoint of his spear in front of him. In his mind, if Hippie immediately faces him there's a big chance that she accidentally stabs him with his weapon.

Moreover, his eyes were widened when Hippe changed her pacing as her speed suddenly went down made him push his spear straightforward. As soon as he thought that his spears could reach her but he just strike the air, and Hippie vanished in his vision.

He looked around, trying to determine her current location. However, before he can find her, he already received a deep cut on his left stomach. It was deep enough to make Orin groan in agony.

"Argh!" He held the place where he can feel severe pain, then he saw in his hand that her blood was spilling out so much.

He randomly swung his spear as he still didn't see where the location of his opponent. Yet, the same thing just happen as his spear was hitting the air. Now, he believed that this woman using her extraordinary speed to conceal her presence against him.

Yes, Orlin was quite right. So to put it simply, Hippie was using her speed to hide in his blind spot. By keep doing this, it was for Orlin to determine her current location.

It seemed Hippie doesn't need to showcase the power of her earring since she realized that it was not the last battle she would have in this guild selection.

The battle was ended just like that. Orin was lying on the surface without his consciousness as Hippie now learned how to maximize her strength and how she could easily win with the participants.

Now I can see why the masked guy choose to be part of that party! Their beautiful faces and excellent bodies are given, but the reason why chose them is that they are also strong adventurers.
