The Adventurer System

In order to be eligible for Asarki's party. Yumiro invited Elijah to show her power so that he could judge if her power was enough to fight with his side. Nevertheless, he doesn't care what kind of power this woman had, he just said these words earlier to see her determination.

Moreover, Asarki was the one who much knew about Elijah's strength for being a mage so she was certain Grim would surely like her. But what she could do? She was the one who suggested this plan, aside from that, they needed a strong adventurer before they climbs to the Heaven's Dream.

To begin with, Elijah was standing in the middle of the straight course. At the same time, she was concentrating her magical power all over her body.

And then, all of a sudden, a huge green magic circle appeared under their feet. It was large enough to reach the place where Asarki, Hippie, and Grim were standing which was around 21 meters away.

Grim frowned his brows as he noticed this woman was pulling out so much magical power throughout her body. "I'm right, this woman is a skilled adventurer." He muttered to himself, then focused his gaze at the woman casting her skill.

Strong wind transpired in this place, it was blowing everyone's hairs and robe. Yet, Elijah continued her body was coated by green gleaming light while the surface was slowly having a crack. She was gradually raising her hands as she was forcing skill to come out.

After a few were moments. Elijah was already gathered so much magical power in her grasp that seemed could destroy the entire city in just a blink of an eye. Aside from that, the cracks were multiplied as the violets vines were coming out of it.

As soon as she was going to release the attack, Grim used the [Dash] skill, knowing that there was a consequence once someone destroyed this city.

"Elijah, that's enough, you already show me what you have got," Grim said these words in a serious, then gently tapped her shoulder to help her to loosen the stiffness on her body.

Elijah was blinking her eyes, then looking at her side. She saw Grim was closer to her and with one move their lips were going to hit each other.

So to avoid this circumstance, she stepped forward also canceled her skill from casting it. The place became brighter and that was the time when Elijah asked him. "That's enough, Grim? You still didn't see my true power."

He nodded his head without hesitation, "That's good enough, you already show the thing I want to see." He said in a cold tone, also already planning to take this woman to be part of his team.

Elijah smiled at her, but eventually, her face turned into a serious one. "I'm already showcasing my power here. So I think it's better if I see the power of the stronger member of your party. Sorry if I offend you with this, I just want to clarify if it's a good thing to join with you."

Grim snickered not because he felt insulted it because he liked the attitude of this woman. In his opinion, there's no wrong to ask if it's worthy trade since she's a skilled mage so it's just an ordinary occurrence if she demands something.

"Hmm... That's cool, Elijah-" He could not complete his words as Asarki intervened in their serious conversation.

"You don't need to do that, Grim, she already saw your skill in the guild selection." Asarki explained hurriedly.

He shook his head once again, "No, it doesn't matter, Asarki, it's all good. On top of that, we can't see an adventurer like her, I'm just doing a small show so you don't need to bother yourself." Grim said, then started to walk away to them before casting his skill. 

Asarki could not do anything, she just simply stepped back to see what kind of skill he would show in this empty place.

"Are you okay, Asarki? It seems something wrong with you?" Elijah approached her politely as she realized this woman acting strange.

"N-No, I'm good. You should watch him so you could see what you would like to see." She smiled at her uncomfortably.

Grim was facing them, ready to show the skill that would surely surprise Elijah. First, he swayed his robe, then showed his left grasp to everyone. Even though he was felt uneasy about this, still, he will continue this to persuade her.

And then, all of a sudden, the place was getting darker and darker every time Yumiro was concentrating his magical power in his left grasp. Aside from that, the wind was hitting strongly enough for the three women to narrowly push back while Elijah's white dress was blowing away. 

A dark violet magic circle appeared under his feet while pointing his hand at the air to show and far his skill would reach.

"T-That's enough, Grim! Now you convinced me that you are a really strong adventurer." Elijah stuttered as she could not take the so much power given by Grim.

The rounded dark orb shrunk as it was like the magical power he consumed to cast this skill easily went back inside his body. The place became brighter again and now Grim was patting his robe to remove the dust plastered on him.

"If that power convinced you, it's all settle, isn't it?" Grim asked her politely, then face towards the cafeteria.

She uncontrollably nodded her head. "Of course, Grim, that's enough. Also, we must enter now since I think your food is already prepared by my waitresses."

Four of them were eating delicious food inside Elijah's cafeteria. By doing this, it would help them to easily regain the strength lost to them due to their battle at the Guild Selection. At the same time, Yumiro explained who was Yuki and what they needed to do about her.

Elijah didn't find any problem with her request as their job was to help him to assist Yuki back to the Heaven's Dream. Also, she knew it would have a big benefit to her, why? Because with this party there was a chance that she could step in the Heaven's Dream what were the other adventurers were hoping for.

But the problem here was, Asarki, Hippie, and Grim were nearly to reach to choose the guild what they wanted. So it means, it was given to have other members as they were talking about the guild.

"Before that, Elijah, do you already join any of the guilds inside the virtual world?" He asked her.

She nodded her head at him. "Of course,"

"Which guild?"

"Rising Shiren guild."

At this point, Grim gave an idea of which guild their party should join. In order to have Elijah, they must join the guild where she joined.

After a few were moments, four of them were already finished eating their foods came along with the thoughts that they should go back to the Adventure Stadium for the follow-up announcement for this day event.

Asarki became quiet for some reason, but no one try to ask her about this.

"We have to go, Elijah, thanks for the delicious food!" Hippie cheerfully said.

"No, problem, Hippie. If you get hungry you are free to come back here." She replied with a sweet smile, also, excited to have some expedition with them.

"See you soon, Elijah, we have to leave." Grim said, then went closer to Asarki for the activation of the teleportation crystal.

"Yes, Grim, I'll wait for everyone until the Guild Selection." She said as she face Asarki. "Good luck, Asarki! Continue your great job, I believe in you!"

Asarki suddenly smiled as all the things that bothered her mind easily faded away. 'What I'm thinking right now? Elijah is one of my great friends so I must stop thinking that she is my enemy.' She uttered to her mind as merrily waved her hand at her. "Thank you so much for the Elijah! And I could not wait to be one of us! See you very soon!"

It seemed Asarki was already awakened with the reality. Nevertheless, after she spits these words she already activated the teleportation crystal.

"Bring us to the Adventure Capital!"

In just a blink of an eye, Asarki, Grim, and Hippie got back to the waiting section. But the thing that surprised them was the ongoing battle in the vast platform.

They smelled the scent of iron as the whole platform was flooded by the adventurers' blood. But it was not ended with that, as they could see multiple organs lying on the surface.

Asarki was nearly to throw up all the food that she just has eaten. For her, why the announcer would not stop this kind of fight?

"Hey? What's going on here? Also, who is that man defeating all the adventurers entering the ring?" Grim said in a deep tone also could not take to stare at the platform for too long.

"You're next.... "
