The Adventurer System

Grim, Asarki, and Hippie were surprised with the outstanding performance of Sinister. His movements and how precise to wield his scythe was on a different level.

Grim and Asarki were looking at each other, for Grim there's nothing to worry about, but for Asarki, they must report this man so they would disqualify in this match. Why? Asarki could see the dark aura released by this man, at the same time, she knew that this man have a chance to defeat the strongest member of her party.

Nevertheless, before she tried to tell him about it. He already gradually shook his head as he was way too determined to continue the fight with him.

"You don't need to say it, Asarki, I have no intention to report that man." He said in a serious tone along with a suspicious smile on his face.

She can't do anything, aside from that, she was avoiding having conflict with this man for no good reason. Nevertheless, she tried to ask him for something.

"I think no matter what I say here I will never convince you. But can you tell me what is the main reason why you fight that man?" In her opinion, the first thing that came to her mind Grim wanted to fight him because he attack for no apparent reason and he felt insulted by it.

"Honestly, I just want to show who is the strongest adventurer between us. Also, my guts telling me that I should recruit this man to be part of our party." Grim said in a deep tone.

Her eyes were widened and even Hippie has piqued her attention after hearing these words. In their minds, why do they need a brutal adventurer to be part of their party?

Hippie was slowly shaking her head and hands in unison as she definitely doesn't like Grim suggestion. "What are you saying, Grim? You didn't see the attitude of that man? He will just ruin our expedition and destroy the reputation of our party. I know you are the first person who would like that to happen." Hippie tried to explain to him everything that he will not get offended.

"You must not already jump to conclusions Hippie. I said my guts telling me about this, still, I'm not sure what would happen next." Grim responded nonchalantly, then took a glance at the man walking out of the stage.

"Grim, if that's your plan with that man, I already suggested to you that you should not continue it. We won't get any benefits for recruiting him." Asarki politely, then also narrowly looking at Sinister.

And all of a sudden, her eyes were gleaming as she was trying to determine how much magical power had this man.

Thud!

She fell to the ground without any good reason. She then took a glance at her legs and saw them trembling. "G-Grim, that man was so strong! His magical power inside of him was much darker than what he showed in his fight."

He frowned his brows as he noticed Asarki fell to the ground. So he pushed himself into a stood-up position and quickly walked towards her.

"What are you doing here, Asarki? You should not worry about everything, I will keep winning and I have no intention to lose for someone." He grabbed her waist, then hung her arm on his neck and slowly pushed him up.

Her face was reddened, at the same time, her heart was beating so fast. Now, Asarki could tell that she have feelings for this man.

"T-Thank you, Grim." She said after Grim helped her to seat on the comfortable chair provided by this event.

Hippie can't say any single cause even her was surprised, at the same time, could not expect Grim Draigh could possibly do that.

"None of us should worry, I still not showing the one hundred percent of my current power."

At this point, Asarki and Hippie believed in him. Why? Because he was right since his fighting ability was way different when he was having an expedition. In their minds, once Grim used it in this event he can become untouchable.

In a just blink of an eye, eight parties were left. On top of that, the audience was looked satisfied with the heated match given by all participants. They were showing that Gino should start the upcoming since each party had promising party members.

I KNOW EVERYONE COULD NOT WAIT FOR THE MORE UPCOMING FIGHTS. BUT WE SHOULD THINK THAT OUR PARTICIPANTS COULD EXHAUST AND STRESS. SO IN THE MEANTIME, WE WILL BE HAVING THIRTY MINUTES BREAK!

After Gino announced these words into the audience, he leaned his back against the wall and took a deep breath. In his mind, if the decision would come to him he had no intention to stop the fight as he admitted that even he was fired up with all the fights that happened today.

"Jeez! My throat was so dry and I can taste my blood inside of it." He said while holding his throat. Yet, the most thing that caught his attention was the man behind the masked guy.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

And all of a sudden, he heard someone was knocking on the door. "That's open, come on entering."

The door was slowly opening and as soon as the person behind the door revealed its appearance. His eyes were widened, then immediately pulled out the green reaper next to him to protect himself from this guy.

It had two dark horns on its forehead, black eyes, and could not clearly see its face since it was covered by the black hood on its magical robe. Yet, one thing Gino was certain and it was he was in a bad position.

Gino have no idea intention to ask the strange person in front of him since by just simply looking at him he already knew where this person came from.

Tsk!

He clicked his tongue while strongly holding and pointing his reaper against this person. "Why the members of dark guilds are doing here?" He asked him in a deep tone.

Gino was a smart guy which means he already know the reason why this person doing here. It was just simply he can easily tell the information in all the adventurers inside the Adventure Stadium. At the same time, he was confident that this man could not kill him as they were inside of the safe zone.

"Well, I think you are a smart guy to easily know about it-" The strange person could not complete his phrase as Gino quickly used his ability to spread the information to everyone.

THE DARK GUILD DARK WAS HERE I NEED A BACKUP-!

[Piercing sound!]

Then, all of a sudden, Gino lost his voice as the person in front of him used his magical ability.

Splash!

It was like a keen thread sliced his throat and blood was splashing into it. Gino suddenly weakened his legs and held his throat, the pain was still there come along with the thoughts that this person could not kill him until... The red screen appeared all over the place and the entire place was starting to get darker and darker.

"I already know that you're confident that you will not get killed by this attack so we made this." A voice of man perceived by his ears along with screen occurred in front of all the adventurers here.

[THIS IS PK BATTLE ZONE! EVERY ADVENTURER WHO WILL GET KILLED HERE NEVER RESPAWN AGAIN!]

The adventurers were dumbfounded again in their elevated screen were now panicking inside the vast stadium as they wanted to leave this place as soon as possible. Or to be exact, all of them knew the dangerous occurrence that might happen to them. Some of them tried to use the teleportation crystal, but no one succeeded to activate it as It seemed the dark guilds had access to the system.

Run!

Give me surfboards!

I want to leave this place right now!

Thud! Thud! Thud!

All the adventurers that were using their surfboards suddenly fell to the ground as they hit a solid barrier that won't be allowing them to escape in the stadium. Seemingly the dark guild members were using a huge magical power to seal the entire place.

Boom!

A tremendous explosion transpired on the upper surface of the Adventure Stadium. And all of them and even the Guilds Captains were shocked after seeing the burned body of Gino that was flying in the mid-air.

Grim jumped to the mid-air as he was trying to save him, but the strange man dashed towards him and cast a magic skill in his hands.

Clasp!

He succeeded to catch Gino's body and still felt the extreme heat burning him inside. Yet, he was unconscious.

Tsk!

Yumiro clicked his tongue as any moment this guy was going to reach him and he was not in the right position to use any of his skills.

[Goliath Sharp!]

Far away, there was a white-haired woman who used a magic skill that knocked down the guy and rolled many times to the ground.
