The Adventurer System

A vicious Hullirian jaguar monster came up in his route inside the dungeon castle. Moreover, he was marveled at why the animals on the earth were the monster in the VR world. Even though, there was a narrowly change in their appearance since it was enormous but still, it the same.

He discovered the place has no carpet, yet he heard the growled of the two hostile monsters in front of him that had 15 meters distance from him.

He then scooted on the right side, as the monster there was commenced to stride. In his mind, using the Kariki knife at this point could be the reason to slow down his movements since he hadn't chance to master it. Furthermore, the jaguar has elevated agility, which means it could easily catch with Yumiro speed.

Then unexpectedly, there was a collision happened on the 2nd floor. As Yumiro wasn't aware that the monster could tackle in just a blink of an eye.

"Sh*t, I didn't foresee it's coming. These monsters' reflexes are faster than mine?" He mumbled and spit out the blood that stuck inside his mouth.

He immediately pushed himself into a stood-up position and charged once again as he didn't want the monster would take the momentum of this battle.

"My HP decreased by 20, I can't accept if I take more. I should be more agile, and focus to dodge the monster attack."

The monster's presence was the same, it seemed they didn't bother in what the adventurer did in his body.

"What just happened?" He asked himself since the battle was fast enough that the ordinary eyes could follow it.

A view screen appeared right before his eyes, and he had an idea what was it as he saw his black robe has sucked some blood.

Luckily, the two first attack wasn't direct hit since he was able to counter-attack them. However, the last attack dealt a lot of damage so he pondered if he could continue if his HP was naturally draining?

He knew these adventurers were near to him, as the system could detect it if there was an adventurer in 100 meters radius. However, it couldn't take away the possibility these adventurers were still away from them since the radius will also affect the lower floor.

"There's no time to waste, I must keep going. I see my HP wouldn't last long, I'll quickly teleport to the adventure capital to buy some HP potions."

Then suddenly, while he was using too much his brain. A new idea popped inside his mind, also noticed his mental strength was decreased by 10.

"If the bleeding is got worst, I will use Kobold core to immediately healed up all my wounds." Yumiro said having a malicious smile on his face.

In his mind, it was a nice idea since he could always use that to save him from the critical situation until now.

After few seconds, the remaining monster was growled again and slashing its claws to make it more sharper.

Yumiro regained his footing, but he admitted this monster was too fast. So he decided to stand up in the same position and waited the monster was the one who engaged him. As he could pull any physical skill at this rate.

"Rushing too much stopped me from thinking the possible ideas. But, I'll never do again the same mistake." His hands were on guard as the jaguar was sidestepping, schemed to dart his attention in the opposite direction.

"What are you doing? I can see you clearly." Yumiro snickered but it quickly changed to a serious facial expression as the monster finally used its super skills. "There you go." He was calmed, so his movement wouldn't be affected by this.

Yumiro had an idea that was the strongest skill monster has since the jagua rhythm was suddenly changed. Its agility and strength were double as the destructive traits were left to the ground.

The monster blink once again in front of him, but it was faster than earlier so he didn't give him enough to could react. He just accepted the damage he took.

Yumiro saw his HP was easily deceased by 145 health points, which made him have terrified eyes.

"If this monster continues this kind of attack, definitely I won't survive." His way more looked worried now, since he could take that amount of damage since he had 1 or 2 chances to use the [Core Devourer] skill.

As expected the monster didn't finish in its attack, and Yumiro thinking a possible way to catch up with the monster's speed. Its body was surrounded by a red aura that seemed the reason why it had so much strength and agility as of now.

"Inventory!" He clasped the Kariki knife inside his inventory, and run towards the corner of the spacious room. "I always saw it in the anime, if the villains are too fast. Just run in the corner and straight forward your arms." He said while his black robe became was sucked more blood.

His back was reclined on the wall, and his feet were barely bent. So if this monster appeared in front of him, he could use it for additional strength.

"Come on, attack me..." Yumiro clenched the knife with both hands, seeing a monster have 12 meters distance away from him.

He make face to annoy the monster, but it seemed that kind of thing wouldn't affect it.

A monster was a monster, so it was aggressive enough, so it dashed again to finish the fight. "If this plan didn't work out, I must think another plan."

The monster blink in front of him once again, but the thing was, it was the only possible way it could appear, so its chest was stabbed by the Kariki knife. Moreover, even until the seconds it still slashes its right claw and committed +75 damage in Yumiro's arm.
