The Arrancar

The water in the area surged into the air led by Aaroniero's trident, numerous water orbs circled the battlefield as dotted the area like stars in the Sky. Down below Captain Hitsugaya and his subordinates were at the mercy of Aaroniero as his Spiritual Pressure overpowered the ice-changing ability of Captain Hitsugaya.

"As you know this battle is truly just a battle of Spiritual Pressure, so let me show you. Daiguren Hyōrinmaru is undoubtedly powerful, in another hundred years, you will have no equal. However, today you fall." Aaroniero twirled the trident as the orbs grew larger.

Back in Hueco Mundo Layla looked on at the battle and analyzed all Espada 9's abilities that were displayed. "I didn't have as much time with him as I did with the rest of you but he seems to have understood my teachings to a suitable level, having an Arrancar that is able to achieve Bankai is unprecedented. The ability to merge the power of a resurreccion and a Bankai is even more impressive."

"Yes, It seems the Espada you selected are far more adequate than I expected. It's a shame that I've only seen the resurreccions of Number 5 and now Number 9. What are you hiding from me?" Aizen said as he looked at Layla who for once was taking a meeting seriously.

"Ho? It seems that you misunderstood a few things. The Promises that you made Nel and I when we first met have never been fulfilled. You promised us power, we grabbed that for ourselves, you promised us, comrades, again we grabbed that for ourselves. Therefore the nature of our cooperation has changed. Grimmjow recall the Espada."

The Espada in the room overheard the conversation between the two but kept their heads down so as to not be brought in the crossfire. Grimmjow quickly summoned the other Espada to change the awkward atmosphere that was created, the tension between the two was almost palpable.

"Negacion huh." Luppi looked on in boredom. Negación are square beams which engulf the target in a towering beam of light which completely isolates them from the dimension they are currently in, making it impossible to harm them from the outside of the impenetrable pillar.

Aaroniero ended both his ressureccion and his Bankai and then looked at the Soul Reapers ``While I do not understand the reasoning behind us ending this battle before the climax can be reached it is also not my place to question it. You Soul Reapers are talented, the Arrancar below the Espada will definitely have to try their hardest to stand toe to toe with you. However, before an Espada you are like moths before a flame, I can make you dance to my tune because you don't have the strength to fight back.

It's actually hilarious to think that we Espada have come so far that Seated officers in the 13 Court Guard Squads are nothing. Your intelligence is outstanding, yet due to your immense intellect it is easy for you to overthink!" Sheathing his Zanpakuto, Aaroniero looked down at the crowd as his eyes conveyed no emotion.

Captain Hitsugaya looked at Aaroniero who was making eye contact with him as the Arrancar's words bounced through his head. 'Aaroniero…...Aaroniero Arruruerie…..You seem to know how to counter my every move despite our elements being so similar, it would seem I have far more to learn than I thought. I can't even beat an Arrancar yet I am aiming to beat Aizen?!'

The Other soul reapers look dejected, and understand that sometimes death is better than defeat in the eyes of some warriors. The Defeats the Soul Reapers have been suffering haven't even been close, they were cats in front of Lions, there was no contest.

"The battle this winter will be far more intense than we originally thought, The Espada aren't opponents we can underestimate in the slightest. Their strength ellipses that of the other Arrancar by many many times, they are far beyond the threats the modern day 13 Court Guard squads has ever encountered. Captain Hitsugaya was standing in front of a large otherworld screen that was located in Orihime's apartment. On the Screen was the Head Captain of the 13 Court Guard Squads, his eyes were slightly opened as he listened to the report which was far beyond his original estimates.
