Skylar finally went back to her room when she was ready. She had sat alone outside so that she would gather herself, and her thoughts and hoped that Reign and Jessie would sort out their differences, it was hard to let go but she had to. She was to scared to pick one and during the process she lost it all and would have bought down a friendship for no reason at all.

When she walked in she found Lola seated on her bed, and looked up at her. "Wow that took longer than I anticipated, how did the talk go?"

"Bad Lola."

"How bad?"

"Real bad."

"Tell me what happened?" Lola said sympathetically.

"Reign showed up and it all went out of control."

"How? What does Reign have to do with it? Was he there to help Jessie. If that's the case you should have called me and I would have come and backed you up."

"It wasn't like that Lola, it's much more complicated than that."

"I'm not getting what you are trying to say Skylar."

Skylar decided to come clean to Lola about the whole thing from the beginning to the kiss and the events that led her up to here.

"Woah Skylar, there are so many questions that I need to ask you."

"So you and Reign kissed?"

"Yes,"

"How was it?" Lola protruded.

"What does it have to do with anything?"

"Just tell me."

"It was amazing I won't lie, but I had thought it was Jessie."

"That doesn't matter does it now," Lola replied.

"You still have to tell me what happened with you and Tyler."

Lola's shoulders dropped, "I really liked him and that night we were kissing I felt over the moon until he stopped it. I asked him what was wrong and he said it wasn't me but him, he had liked me before but now his sights were sore for someone else."

"Did he say Lola?"

"He wanted you Skylar, he said that was all he could think about and how your scent would linger and for the next science class. He asked me a favour and that was to not tell you what had happened."

"Oh."

"He asked me if we could still be friends and if I could forget about the whole kiss entirely as it was a mistake. That's when everything went to the slumps and we weren't talking anymore. So I just left that night but I felt very heart broken."

"I'm sorry Lola,"

"It's okay."

"Do you still like him?"

"It feels like I will always do. What do you think I should do?"

Skylar had wanted to answer her question but she remembered that she sucked at the whole dating, relationship life style. So she bit her tongue. "In all honesty Lola I don't have any answers for you and the ones that I might have might lead you to a downward spiral."

"It was that bad?" Lola replied.

"What was?"

"Your chat with Jessie and Reign. Who did you end up picking?"

"Neither, I don't want to come in between their friendship that they have for something that might not last."

"But what if does?"

"Then that was a possibility that I just lost out on, didn't I?"

"Who do you like Skylar?"

Skylar wanted to answer but she didn't, "It doesn't matter. Everything is said and done. The chapter is closed and done. And now it's goodbye for us all"
