* CRASH * The flower vase shattered into tiny glass pieces over the floor.

She CAN'T RUN FAR SHE INJURED HER FOOT YOU CAN FOLLOW HER TRAIL" The man who answered the call coldly grinned on the other end and licked his dried chapped lips revealing his yellow colored teeth responded "Let the Kitten run and slowly suffocate till death."

*GASPS* Shi Xue ran as fast as she could with her injured foot not daring to slow down for even a second. She inhaled deeply and exhaled as her chest bounced up and down while running hoping to find help. She took out her cell phone to call for help.. only to realize she had nobody. Her father died several years ago leaving only her and her so called family.

She didn't have any friends either as her years revolved around Ku Ze Yang she never disobeyed a word of his even though he mistreated her many times. She didn't dare to as he would throw objects at her or hit her making her feel inferior and worst being compared to. At first he courted her with passion and showed her care so she fell into his trap. Then he became aggressive to the point of harming her. She tried to leave, but was once choked to the point where she lost colors to her face. The imprinted behavior made her afraid to leave or ever disobey him again.

Finally... she reached an area near the ocean and panted heavily. She looked at her pale as snow legs and her barefoot now full of scratches. She clenched her teeth as she used her fingernails to pull out the pieces of glass stuck on her feet. As she tightly bit onto her bottom lip, a taste of sweet and sourness flowed to her tongue, leaving a wound on her lips.

After washing her wound with clean water from the nearby restroom, she rested in the shades on a bench after inspecting the area. She gazed upon the beautiful night sky filled with twinkling stars that created a Taurus sign as she traced using her fingers to make it connect. The glamorous full moon and stars reflected into her eyes... making herslowly drift to her old memories....
