The Birthday Of a Special Stranger

Few hours later, Anna's mother who arrived to the Plaza Hotel two hours earlier called her daughter who was still at home.

~ Aren't you coming yet ? The guests are arriving and they want to meet you so come right now before I lose my patience ~

Anna was already done preparing herself, but she wanted to arrive late to the party and make a big entrance, just like celebrities and famous people do.

However, her mom's temper and impatience got in the way of her plans.

~ Okay mom I'm on my way, just stop screaming please ~

" Did she just hang up on me ! I'm going to teach this ungrateful child a lesson when this party is over ! All these preparations and all the money I spent on her birthday but she doesn't even show her gratitude ! She's the same as her bastard father who never appreciated my efforts or the things I did for him ".

Anna's mother murmured alone as she drunk a whole glass of red wine in a single shot.

" Come on Sophie, let's go to the party".

" Now? weren't you planning to show up late ? What happened to the big entrance plan ? "

"Mom happened. She has to ruin my plans even in such an important day ".

Anna complained.

" Don't ruin your mood. Tonight is YOUR big night and nobody's going to take it away from you ".

Later in the Paterson's Villa.

"Joleen are you done ? We're going to be late sweety ! ".

Mrs Paterson said while knocking on the door of Joleen's bedroom. She was speechless when she opened the door and suddenly saw how gorgeous her daughter looked.

Meanwhile in The Plaza Hotel

Anna and Sophie were already in the Hotel. They were welcoming people when Anna suddenly screamed as she saw John and Chris.

"You guys came! "

She run over to them and held John's arm.

Anna took a glance at John, then talked while fixing his tie.

"My fiancée is so handsome as usual "

John removed her hand and fixed his own tie. He said with a disgusted look on his face.

"Are you drunk already ? You should behave like a lady and not like some kind of prostitute, and what kind of dress is this ? even strippers wear less revealing clothes ".

Anna felt a sudden bitterness. She looked down for a few seconds, then looked up again with a forced smile on her face.

She tried to cover her anger by changing the topic of their conversation.

" Where are your parents ? And Joleen? Aren't they coming? "

John spoke while walking away along with Chris.

" They'll be here soon. I was in the Office and that's why we didn't come together ".


" Oh I see, then enjoy the party ".

John kept walking forward, while Chris turned his head and took a glance at Anna's figure. She was wearing a red backless sparkly dress. Her lips were tainted with a burning red lipstick, and her strong perfume was all over the place.

Her curvy body could lure any man, except for John who abhorred her for some reason. Chris was turned on by her alluring looks. He wished he could torture and punish her for all the times she deliberately insulted him.
