The Black Tiger

Gabriel studied the ground surrounded by thick layers of tropical trees and flowers. The column beside him had disappeared as a rumbling sound arrived from an unidentified animal stamping on the heavily vegetated area.

-Tigris, I don't think I'm on the same level as this creature. Something's wrong.- Gabriel mentally mumbled.

Tigris didn't reply and the only sound around him was made by insect like organisms.

"ROAR"

A four legged creature with a massive body and huge jaws filled with teeth was raging towards a rock just a few meters from where Gabriel was sitting. Gabriel looked at what was residing behind the rock, there was a few older beasts.

"Launch for attack" one of the men screamed. They were soon running towards the weird looking animal with swords and arrows pointed at it. Those actions made the huge creature covered with scales flee into the forest, the beasts sighed in relief.

-So disappointing- Gabriel thought while turning around.

The forest floor suddenly started to rumble and the hair on Gabriel's arms and legs rose which made his entire body shiver.

"What the..." Gabriel heard one of the older beasts shaking in fear.

It only took a second before the beasts were scattered all over the small clearing. Gabriel's eyes opened and as he tried to understand the situation he was in. A hundred meter tall creature similar to the one who had fled from the beasts Stood just a couple of meters away. It was surrounded by a deadly aura which even Gabriel could notice without any assistance from Tigris.

-You must be kidding me!-

Amy ran in a hurry towards an aura which felt like an A rank creature. The people back at the department told her and Albert that the abnormality was of rank D. Not that she mind, the only reason to why she accepted the quest was to find that tiger like creature which sounded interesting. It was a bonus that an A rank creature had showed up at such a low rank dungeon. A smile started forming when she spotted an hundred meter tall scaled animal unlike any lizard she had seen before. Its green scales was like shields layered beside each other, its sharp snout made the big body look even more massive.

-It's huge, that indicates that it must rely on brute force instead of speed. However that's not necessary the the scenario. I should use my speed and agility to hit the weak spots located at several of its joints. I will make it quick.-

Her small frame flew fast towards the animal reaching for her daggers ready to slice the creature open. Her quick movements managed to cut multiple times into the giant monster, but she had underestimated it. In pain from the wounds it hit Amy with its long tail covered in sharp red thorns. She gasped as she felt the air leave her lungs. She was thrown into the ground which caused several injuries to her legs as she balanced on them. Luckily her regeneration went fast because of her incredible powers and rank. The scaled creature shoot its head filled with teeth in her direction nearly reaching her.
