The Brothers Bestfriend

Chapter 2:The Fight

As we all make it outside my mom and dad start yelling at the boys to stop fighting, I get a small glimpse of what is going on, I can see my brother throwing punches at Ian as Ian is trying to protect himself and saying he didn't mean to hurt me, then that's when I push my way through the crowd I make it to the middle where the boys are fighting and this time Luke is sitting on to of Ian punching him Ian is still trying to protect himself but he was getting weak his arms start to weaken and they fall to the ground he closes his eyes tightly read to be punched that's when Luke throws the hardest punch he could and Ian's mouth and nose starts to bleed at this point I am crying I start to scream stop over and over as my brother continues to punch him harder and harder, I stand up and run to my brother and I push him off of Ian my brother fell over but not to far because I am smaller than him but I pushed with all my might, I then hold my hand up to Ian's face and look at him he flinches at my touch then opens his eyes and I could see the happiness in his eyes at the sight of me I help him up and he wraps one arm around my shoulder as I help him back inside, I look back to see nobody following but everyone is just watching as I take him inside. I sit Ian in a chair by the bar and I once again run my hand over his face " Are you ok?" I say in a calm but sharp voice, Ian nods not saying anything he then quickly looks down to the ground and I see his mouth open then he closes it quickly as if he was about to say something but couldn't find the right words to say " I know you are sorry Ian, I know you would never hurt me on purpose." I say as I try to make contact with him, he looks up at me shocked as if he expected me to be mad at him, I take my hand slowly off his face and walk over to the bar to put some ice in a napkin for Ian's face "Does it hurt?" I ask calmly trying not to sound worried, "umm... a little but you don't have to help me" Ian says as he stares back down at the ground, "yes I do it was my brothers stupid fault" I said as I put ice into the white napkin, "No it was me I wanted to get drunk and forget about yo... " Ian says as he then stops in the middle of his sentence " What did you want to forget about" I ask as I stop putting the into the napkin and walk over to Ian, "Nothing something at home" Ian says as he looks up at me, I pause and look at Ian then I take a deep breath and continue walking over to Ian, I place the napkin with ice on Ian's nose he looks at me and grabs my hand and moves it from his face "Leah Luke is like a brother to me and I might have just ruined our relationship so I have to fix this so me and you have to be friends only friends so no weird looks okay" Ian says as he looks at me and places a strand of hair behind my ear and creases his finger down my cheekbone my heart starts to race then he moves his finger to my lip then he runs his finger across my lip then he gets up and grabs his jacket and goes to the door "Thanks, Leah" Ian says before he walks out the door, I turned from the door and walked to the trash can and throw the napkin in the trash, I lean against the wall and took a deep breath before I walk out the building to find Ian and Luke bro hugging everyone else was quietly walking back in the building some people where whispering to each other and others were looking at me in a disgusting look like I had done something wrong. I walk over to Ian and Luke who is now looking at me we all hug each other and walk to the car. "What a night," Luke said as he wipes his face of the sweat with his jacket sleeve. As I get to the passenger door Ian opens it for me and helps me up and I grab his hand I look at him he but he wasn't looking at me he was looking down trying not to make eye contact with me after what happened at the bar, we had a moment and if my brother found out about that moment Ian would never see my brother or me again.
