The Buggiest System

Zhou Lei was walking home, unaffected by today's events...

Or so he thought!

When all of the classes ended, he approached Wen Hui, with the intention of reminding her of their... "meeting". However, he ran out of courage at the last second and ended up tucking his tail and bailing.

"Eh, there's still 28 days left. I don't need to be so hasty..." Zhou Lei comforted himself. "Anyway, I always do this. This is just me procrastinating!"

"Eh... but I can't go home yet. I already made an excuse to stay outside until night." Zhou Lei suddenly remembered his father's conversation with his teacher. If he came home despite his father already giving him permission to stay up late, he would be getting doubts...

"...Free time?" Zhou Lei headed to the arcade soon after.

Wen Hui headed home, panting heavily. Her makeup was too effective to people on the sidewalk. Too many guys tried to hit on her!

"Should I thank that girl or not?" Wen Hui contemplated whether what happened to her was a good thing. "I mean, I felt flattered at first by the unending compliments, but quickly got tired of that..."

She arrived at her apartment. It wasn't anything fancy, just an apartment that any working adult would have. After taking off her shoes at the entrance, she removed her clothes and changed into her homewear.

Rumble...

Her stomach made sounds.

"Hehehe, I should probably eat."

She headed towards the refrigerator and took out a pack of instant noodles, put it in a bowl and poured hot water on it. Soon after, she started to eat.

"Ahh, nothing like a nice cup of noodles," Wen Hui said to herself.

After eating, she washed all of the makeup off of her face and walked towards the bedroom.

The sight of the comfy bed made her collapse onto it immediately; she didn't wake up until morning.

Zhou Lei walked in a different direction than his house. He headed towards the arcade.

He pulled out his wallet from his pocket and looked at how much money he had left.

"Err... none." Zhou Lei stopped in his tracks. He had forgotten how poor they were due to all the attention he's getting with his appearance.

He turned around and walked back, this time towards his house. He was preparing an excuse for his early arrival.

"Hmm, how about... I finished the project early?" Zhou Lei contemplated. "This is a good excuse, I'll stick with this."
