The next day.

Alice and Carol went to the magic academy, and Agnes also went to the royal palace with Siesta in tow to take care of some business matters.

Lindsey and Elyse had a busy morning. Once the masters were sent to work, their work began immediately. The quiet purple-haired Lindsey was mainly engaged in sorting mail and organizing documents. Since she originally came from a noble family, she also had a proper education and was well educated. Therefore, she often assisted the head maid Siesta.

And childish Elyse was very skilled in household chores with her magic, doing laundry and general housework. She, like Lindsey, was also from a noble family.

Elyse stepped into Haruto’s room to wash the bedding. And then,

She sniffed the bedding which made her cheeks turn red.

Elyse sighed and then held up the messy covers. Then she blurted out without thinking.

“The Medici’s are in high spirits.”

Though she had a forlorn look on her face, Elyse and Lindsey knew.

The three ladies belonged to Haruto, and Haruto belonged to the three of them.

But the only man who could satisfy Elyse and Lindsey’s expectations was Haruto. So, once Agnes, Carol and Alice were impregnated…

The two were in the cafeteria taking a break. Elyse plopped down on the table and said.

“Haruto-sama’s room smelled amazing today.”

“Elyse, don’t say those things.”

Even yesterday she was frustrated and made a lot of a bold statement in front of Siesta, the head maid, but it was only a bluff. This was how the girl was Elyse. Of course, Lindsey, being well aware of the nature of her childhood friend, asked in a gentle tone of voice.

“Do you want to go to Haruto-sama’s place?”

“Eh?”

“We don’t have to work this afternoon.”

Elyse rolled her eyes and looked at Lindsey. Then, the purple-haired girl smiled slightly.

“Yeah! Let’s go together!”

Lindsey and Elyse walked around the mansion to look for Haruto. As they approached the backyard, they heard a sharp sound of metal. And then, there he was.

Haruto, looking tough, can be seen firing a gun at a target in a crouched position.

Haruto seemingly noticed their presence and stood up, and waved his hand. The girls breathed a sigh of relief as his reaction was welcoming.

“I’m sorry. It had the silencer on, but was it still too loud?”

“No, we were just wondering what you were doing.”

Lindsey asked, looking curiously at Haruto holding the gun.

“Oh, this is, umm, target practice.”

““Target practice?””

“Ahaha! Lindsey, this is super fun!”

“Yes. It’s a really great magical tool… to be able to just pull this trigger and fire a magic bullet with tremendous power!”

Haruto taught them how to use the gun roughly and let them shoot, as they showed interest in the shooting practice. The two maids were surprised at first by the recoil when shooting, but as they got used to it, they were able to hit targets in the distance. So they were having a lot of fun practicing shooting.

Haruto nodded in satisfaction, saying that a maid from another world who takes aim at a target with an HK416 was quite a good combination.

After shooting for a while they gave the guns back to Haruto with a look of accomplishment on their faces.

“Thank you! It was so much fun!!!”

“Thank you.”

“Yeah, I’m glad you’re having fun.”

The two who had been working with a somber expression on their faces just a few minutes ago were now smiling innocently like children.

And their troubled hearts were basked in the afterglow of the fun brought about by target practice.

Haruto, with his eyes widened, muttered.

“Oh, no! I’ve to open the stall soon!”

““Stall?””

“Yeah. I’ve been thinking about selling takoyaki for a while today, but if I don’t hurry, I’ll be late!”

Elyse and Lindsey giggled when they saw Haruto starting to get impatient

““We will help!””

“Thanks.”

“Giant octopus’s delicious takoyaki, you won’t find it elsewhere!”

“Here’s the bill, 800 meso.”

As the occasion called for it, I decided to sell takoyaki with Elyse and Lindsey at the usual spot.

Elyse helped me by gathering the customers, and Lindsey as the cashier.

I was in my work clothes moving the takoyaki pan with a beautiful maid from another world on either side of me. It was another surreal sight. But there were crowds of people around, and the takoyaki sold out as quickly as they were made, and the situation went on and on. And in the blink of an eye, we were out of ingredients, and those who came late had to leave disappointed.

As our stall was in the middle of the quiet royal capital and residential area, there were so many customers.

“It was amazing… I never thought it would sell this much.”

“It’s what Haruto-sama makes… so it’s only natural…”

They looked quite tired and a bit overwhelmed. Well, it’s no wonder, since such a huge number of guests came in at once.

I addressed the girls with a bit of apology.

“You two haven’t eaten yet, right?”

“Y-yes. I am pretty hungry…”

“Me too.”

“I had saved some of the ingredients for the takoyaki so I’ll cook for you now.”

They widened their eyes at my suggestion. Elyse was even drooling. Then they both nodded their heads at great speed.

“Okay. I’ll be back in a minute.”

With that, I poured in the batter, and threw in a large sized octopus. I loved takoyaki whether I was in Japan or in another world.

As I hummed and moved the pan in a small motion, a familiar voice tickled my ear.

“Even if you get the title of Duke of Linster, takoyaki-brother is not going to change.”

“Hahaha. Humans are creatures that don’t change that easily.”

“Huh?”

I was surprised. Ever since I got married to Alice, I’ve met these guys only once, and I’ve been curious about them for a long time, but finally they came… at the place where it started.

I was glad to see them.

Two kind-hearted, yakuza-like adventurers who helped me.

“You guys are no different… I’ve been wanting to meet you for a long time.”

“No, no! You don’t have to force yourself. We’re not fun to drink with because of our scary faces…”

The two adventurers turned their moist eyes on me to ask for my help. But I chuckled and cheerfully replied.

“Let’s have a drink together.”
