The Cold-Iceberg, Mr. Devil Lover

When Ethan Chance came home from work, she didn't see Aylin Lui.

He was so happy to see his little wife, because these few days he was so busy that he can't even come home much.

He misses his wife so much that on his way home from work, he can't stop smiling when he thinks about seeing his wife.

But when he reaches home, there's no one at home.

And there's no servant in the mansion.

A home is not home without his little wife around.

Ethan Chance started getting worried. He tried to call her, but her phone was off. He waited for a while and then he called again, but her phone was still off.

"Where did this woman go!" Ethan Chance said. Feeling worried and frustrated at the same time.

'Did she got herself in trouble again?' Ethan Chance thought in her head.

He decided to wait again. If Aylin Lui didn't show up by crack of dawn, Ethan Chance was going to turn the city upside down.

Ethan Chance waits for a long time in the darkness. Then a door opened and then the light turned on. Standing there was his little wife with blood stains on her clothes and hands.

Seeing that the person standing in front of him was doing ok, Ethan Chance sighs in relief.

But seeing her pale face, fury was all he felt at that moment. He wishes he's there for her when she's in danger and shoots those bunch of despicable people who hurt his little wife.

"How did you get hurt?" Ethan Chance asked coldly. There's no trade of wariness in his tone.

Aylin Lui frowned upon hearing Ethan Chance words.

She didn't think that he'll be home today since he hasn't been home for a few days.

'Why is he alone in the darkness? Isn't he busy with his work? Why is he suddenly coming to my place?' Aylin Lui thought in her head.

"Why are you in a bad mood? Is the company not doing well?" Aylin Lui asked.

'Is she think the company is more important than her life?' Ethan Chance thought.

"Don't you know why I am mad?" Ethan Chance asked. "You damn woman. You always got yourself hurt."

'Is he mad at me? Why? He didn't come home that much and he didn't have time for me much. But why?' Aylin Lui thought in her head.

"Why are you yelling at me? I'm not dead yet." Aylin Lui said.

Nobody knew how much he was worried about her. Whenever she went out, she was always faced with danger. Ethan Chance would feel uneasy whenever his little wife was out there alone.

'Forget about it. Getting angry won't do anything good. Let's take care of her arm first.' Ethan Chance thought in his head.

"I'm fine…" Aylin Lui smiles Looking at him. She could see immense worry he had for her in his eyes.

Walking toward him, she placed her right hand one his arm, she accused him "Believe in your wife Mr. Chance. She's not weak. She knows her limits. She has been in worse situations than this; but she's still safe and sound."

What can he do about his little wife. She never gets herself out of danger. Now all he can do is take care of the wound on her arm.

Ethan Chance shook his head. Picking her up off her feet and carrying her like a bridal style, he walked into the restroom.

He put her gently on the chair. Take out the first aid kit in the cabinet.

Then got down on one knee and started cleaning his little wife's wound.

Seeing that the wound was a little deep, Ethan Chance's heart sank.

"How did you get hurt?" Ethan Chance asked without looking at the person in front of him. His eyes are glued on the wound arm.

Stared at him. Instead of answering his question, She said "Don't worry. I'll be careful next time."

Aylin Lui can't promise Ethan Chance that she won't do it again. Because she loves her work and she enjoys what she's doing. She knew better than anyone else that her life is not like oriding people.

Ethan Chane's face sank hearing his little wife's words. 'Next time? Is she still wanting to continue doing dangerous works?' Ethan Chance thought in his head.

Seeing that Ethan Chance didn't say anything, Aylin Lui cupped her right palm on Ethan Chance's face making him look up at her face "I've been in a situation worse than this before, but I'm still alive. Don't take it in heart okay?"

"You're not alone anymore. Now you have me. If you face trouble, leave it to me. I'll take care of them for you. Don't put your life in danger like this again." Ethan Chance said sadly.

"I can't leave my problems to you. You got your own problem to take care of. If I let you take care of my problem, what's there for me to learn so hard for? I know you care about me. I can promise you that I will go on the missions less. But I can't promise you that I won't do it or stop doing it."

Seeing his wife's serious face, Ethan Chance knew he can't change her mind. He can't do anything about it but to agree with her.

Ethan Chance made up his mind that, from now on he is going to help his wife in secret, without letting her know. He knows she can take care of herself, but he's worried about her safety. Her safety comes first.
