Maya smirks 'This curse is really a boon now.. I just want to note every way carefully and escape after finding a right time! After all Time and Place is the main key! And I know when to use them skilfully'.

One of the soldier grunts gruffly "Stephen! We should investigate her in front of whole servants!".

Stephen remains silent yet his aura turns cold. He keeps on walking towards some place where the people are imprisoned.

The soldier insists noticing the change of expression in Stephen's eyes "We should teach her proper lesson for her crime! How dare she did this to Christopher! If we don't punish her now in front of the whole Pavilion, then no one would fear us!".

Maya keeps her gaze forward. Inspite of getting angry, she feels an urge to laugh at the soldier in her heart.

'Ah..That thing is Christopher! And This Stern is Stephen?. And this Clown wants to teach me a lesson! What a ridiculously dangerous thought!'.

Stephen stops in his tracks and looks at the soldier "Patience Robin! She has no idea what she just started".

The words didn't go unheard by Maya. She has been listening to every conversations and their expressions keenly.

Maya couldn't help but wonder suspiciously.

'What are they talking about? Are they going to kill me instead of investing? No they have received Emperor's edit! They won't kill me, will they?!'.

Maya notices Stephen had started walking fast and finally they reached some place. It looked like a normal house from the outside view.

Stephen claims the steps with his heavy steps. The sound resounded his sterness. He stops right before the door and turns slowly to face the others.

Maya stops in her tracks as the soldiers stopped walking. She notices Stephen's evil smirk and prepares herself to face the worst.

'He is up to no good. I can sense his darkness. I wish I can see through his mind'.

Stephen orders "Chain her!".

As soon as the words left his mouth, the soldiers dragged Maya to tied her into the place.

Maya yelps as she was pulled forcefully. By the sudden pull she almost fell down by her face. But she steadies herself at the right moment.

Stephen scoffs with a devilish smirk.

"Easy fellowmen. She is carrying an important secret. I don't want her to spill everything outside".

She notices Stephen's burning eyes on her and feels uncomfortable yet didn't dare to avert her eyes from his. Because she couldn't ignore to notice anything. She has to see through his mind so she has to notice every reactions of his.

She notices the ropes getting tight around her wrist. She tries to run along with the soldiers as she doesn't want to get hurt..again. The damage would be inevitable.

'The damage would be for them though! Poor things! They have no idea whom they are poking!'.

The doors were opened swiftly.

Maya gasps inaudibly. She ogles around the room visibly showing her shock.

'Is this a prison?! Or what Maya?! The hanging chains...The swords! The wh.i.p.s! And what are the spiky chains for?! No way I could never ever go out alive if not for the Curse!'.

Her hands were chained to the hanging ones before she could look around the room completely!.

'And....What the hell are the metal melting equipments doing here?!'.

Her body starts to shiver faintly.

'They wouldn't start the torture right away, would they? I have to get a chance to leave the place!'.

SLAM!

The door was closed harshly. Only then she notices she was alone in the room now.

Robin asks "What are you going to do Stephen?! I still want her to be executed in front of the whole Pavilion!".

He walks forward to open the door but Stephen speaks "We will".

Robin stops holding the door handle and asks walking in front of Stephen "Then what's the need of locking her in this penalty room?! Just drag her out and chop her bloody head! In front of the servants! So that no one ever dares to do what she did!".

Stephen smirks "Didn't you notice something Robin?".

Robin growls "I only saw her horrendous attitude and she would die for that now! At once!".

Stephen pats his shoulder "I will let her die in your hands then".

Robin asks suspiciously "What are you saying? ".

Stephen chuckles "After I punish her, I will let you punish her".

Robin frowns "What are you upto Stephen? Just stop making things difficult for us and let her get what she deserves! We still have to find the conspirators! ".

Stephen smirks "Rest assured Robin. I will make her spill everything. Find what that little daring servant is doing there. She too has to pay for the consequences ".

Robin reluctantly nods and turns holding his sword.

Maya hears some voices outside the room and waits for them to disappear. She couldn't just break the prison in front of them.

'I wasn't cursed with an ability to fly. I could only become strong and powerful once I get hurt. But I don't know how to heal my injuries yet! It always heals after a bigger injury than the previous-'.

She stops thinking and curses herself.

'How did I just think about the curse again?! I mentally said everything! If there was some Master before me, they could have read my mind just by looking at my eyes! My Father made me promised that I wouldn't even think about this curse before anyone!'.

She notices that voices stopped and everything became quiet. She takes a deep breath and looks at the chains which were hanging chained from the roofs.

Her left hand is throbbing in pain aleady. She raises her hands and she is about to pull the chains.

SLAM!

Stephen enters the room alone, making Maya to stop her movements abruptly.

Stephen stands before Maya and tilts his head "Tell me what do you know about the lost Queen. I will go easy on you".
