Sarah bows "Yes Princess!!" and goes out.

Veronica looks at Maya for a last time and says "Then this Princess will take a leave. I have a lot to arrange for tomorrow's party".

Maya nods and sees before she could say Veronica already fled out.

Maya wonders herself 'Why do I feel this is not an end? Did I handle her or stirred a storm?'.

She shrugs and hears a small sound.

HICCUPS!!

Maya notices the forgotten servant who is suppressing her cries and shakes her head 'I just used this servant as a bait to teach Veronica a lesson!! However this spoiled girl should be bullied by me at least!'.

Maya asks "Are you planning to just rest here?".

The servant shakes her head vigorously "This servant doesn't dare!".

She didn't even imagine that Princess would abandon her just like that! So now all she could do is obey this Mam!

Maya scoffs indifferently "Since your Princess left you here..Just join Sarah in her works..I will punish you when I get the mood".

The servant opens her mouth in shock 'Would someone wait for mood to punish? Strange! I never saw a Mam like...'.

Maya chuckles "Will you go by yourself? Or I have to help you to stand?".

The girl shakes her head "This servant wouldn't dare! Thank you Mam..". She turns to go out.

Maya stops her frowning as she recalled something "Wait! Is your name Scarlett ?",

The girl hesitates but answers "Answering Mam! My real name was Molly but Princess changed my while I joined here!".

Maya wonders "How long have you been serving here?".

Molly answers " Answering Mam! 7 years".

Molly gets nervous as after being here for 7 years, she knew whatever she has done today is unforgivable. She couldn't help but blame herself. After being with Princess for these years, she really forgot to obey Mam!.

However Maya creased her eyebrows and just says "You can go".

Maya ignores leaving Molly and thinks 'Scarlett is 8 years old and Veronica changed a servant's name as Scarlett 7 years before...so it can't be a mere coincidence..Veronica forbids Emperor to announce Madam Mary as Empress and likes to order around. She never mentioned Madam Mary while talking about the dinner. Is she forgetting to respect an elder who is not only like a mother to her but to the whole nation! If Madam Mary had got her title, she would been treated as The Mother of this country!'.

Thinking about this Royals itself made her to have an headache. She never thought so much until she become Royal over night!.

Maya walks towards the giant window near her chamber and looks out worried. 'Did I really provoke the Princess??' and smiles mockingly 'What she would do? She won't kill me for teasing her right?'.

Without knowing herself, she holds the edge of the window.

CRACK!!

She gets out from her thoughts and shocked to see the small crack in that big window frame.

Maya steps back instantly and looks at her hands panicking. 'How could I be so careless!!?'.She clasps her hands and notices the hurt in her hand is still fresh. She mumbles worried and goes towards her cupboard.

The Empress Pavilion.

Veronica walks to and fro in her chamber and hisses "Does that orphan really dare to ridicule? I will show what would be the consequences for her actions!".

A servant comes running and kneels "Long live Princess! Everything is arranged as Princess instructed!".

Veronica looks at her in disdain "Who?" and raises her eyebrows as if she was expecting something.

The servant bewilders and bows "This servant deserves to be punished! This servant doesn't know anything! Not at all! The incident which is going to happen is nothing to do with Princess!".

Veronica waves her hand and dismisses the servant "Get lost!".

She clicks her tongue pitifully "Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! I didn't think you would be so brainless to mess with this Princess!".

Maya as usually sent Sarah out and spreads the blanket on the floor to sleep. While placing the pillow she gets the glimpse of full moon.

She smiles faintly and sighs "I hope this day just passes peacefully".

She lays down facing the moon and closes her eyes. She starts to sleep deeply until the room fill with a vicious sound.

THUDDDD!

Maya frowns in her sleep hearing something fell but tries to toss.

HISSSSSSSSS

Maya froze in fright hearing a sound of one of her worst nightmares!

'Is that.....?'.

She opens her eyes in doubt and sees the whole room is dark. 'How the room become dark? I never turn off the lamps...But..'.

HISSSSZ.

She sits jerking and stands immediately. 'What's this sound?'.

She tries to find the lamp in darkness but end up in pushing many things on the floor.

Maya stoned to hear the sound and stops moving. She frowns realizing something and mutters under her breaths "Snake?".

She gulps her fright and squints her eyes to see in around in moonlight. Thank god its Full moon day.

She could see something wiggling in her bed.

Maya gasps seeing the length of the 'thing' by its colour which was pitch black.

She shouts without waiting for a second "Sarah!!".

Maya looks the snake could sense her sound too and closes her mouth by her hands immediately.

She stands at her spot and looks towards the door anxiously. Seeing none was coming to save her, she creases her eyebrows in fear. 'I should get out from the chamber soon'.

Maya lifts her leg cautiously to move but suddenly the snake starts hissing violently!.

HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

Maya couldn't understand what she made to react the snake suddenly and senses her body temperature increased suddenly.

THREAT!!! POISON?

Her mind alarmed her suddenly.

Maya gets anxious and steps away from the snake as much as possible. She steps back near the window and looks down.

She gulps seeing the height 'Wouldn't every bones in my body break , if I jump from here?'.

She would rather die with her broken body than facing this vicious thing!.

No one wants to die by this thing and would rather chose to die in peace.
