#127 - About Ultimate Evolution
“This is really good news.” Diamondhead said with a smile.
“Don't be happy just yet, the Ultimate Evolution System still has flaws.” Yang Le poured a bucket of cold water on him.
“Remember what the principle of Ultimate Evolution is? Simulate the harshest environment that the species can withstand and let it evolve freely for 1 million years. That's the principle of Ultimate Evolution.”
“So?” Diamondhead asked. Unlike Yang Le, who stayed at home as a Galvan researching, he hadn't increased his IQ, so he couldn't guess what Yang Le was going to say.
“So, this thing can easily damage the DNA of alien heroes.” Yang Le pulled up some data and information.
“These are the results I obtained from experiments. I used the DNA of some fish for experiments, and basically the DNA collapsed and was damaged in about twenty to twenty-five years. Very few species can exceed thirty years.”
“Why not use the DNA of alien heroes directly for experiments?” Diamondhead asked.
“I already said the reason, you idiot. The DNA will collapse. The collapsed DNA will be damaged. Do you want to use those irreplaceable alien hero DNAs for experiments? You spendthrift.”
Yang Le criticized his clone with a tone of disappointment.
“Then why not use the DNA of the Asgardians?” Diamondhead looked at Yang Le, puzzled.
“Didn't we scan Thor's genes a while ago? You can just find a reason to scan Thor.”
“You think I wouldn't have thought of that? Otherwise, why do you think Ultimate Evolution has made progress?” Yang Le looked at Diamondhead with an idiotic gaze.
“Oh, please.” Diamondhead covered his head. “Did Galvan's misanthropy infect you?”
A common flaw among Galvans, take Azmuth for example, he would be impatient with some of Ben Tennyson's questions, and sometimes even sarcastic, but he would still answer and explain properly.
This is because in Azmuth's, or rather most Galvans' view, these questions are incomprehensible, definitely not because he has malice towards you, but most other races wouldn't think so.
“Maybe, cough cough.” Yang Le coughed lightly and continued.
“Let's continue with the topic. After experimenting with the DNA of ordinary fish several times, I found that these creatures could hardly withstand Ultimate Evolution, so I focused on the DNA of the Asgardians. As expected, just like my guess, this experiment easily broke through 30 years, and even reached the endpoint of 1 million years.”
“Isn't that very successful?” Diamondhead asked, puzzled.
“Let me finish.” Yang Le rolled his eyes at Diamondhead. “After reaching 1 million years, after persisting for five seconds, the DNA still collapsed. If I hadn't rescued it in time, the DNA of the Asgardians would have disappeared.”
Yang Le sighed and continued: “I was wrong from the beginning. I thought Fusion Evolution would be more difficult than Ultimate Evolution, but I didn't expect it to be the other way around.”
“Fusion Evolution requires balancing the DNA of both sides and solving rejection reactions. It is much more difficult than Ultimate Evolution's crude evolution method, but Ultimate Evolution is simple and crude, which is also its advantage, otherwise I wouldn't have made progress in such a short time.”
“Forget it, let's talk about some good news.” Yang Le said, taking something from the side and showing it to Diamondhead.
It was something about the size of a little finger, like a USB flash drive, with a silver-white shell on the outside, and a circular transparent component on the surface of one end, allowing you to see the internal structure, and an interface on the other end.
“After that, I did several more experiments and finally stabilized the DNA of Ultimate Evolution for about five minutes, thus inventing this.” Yang Le explained.
“This is called the Ultimate Incubator. It can be connected to the Omnitrix and then perform Ultimate Evolution on the alien hero you choose. Just in case, I will have another clone send it to you. It's a trump card after all.”
“I won't thank myself.” Diamondhead had the joy of getting a new toy when he was a child.
“You must remember the precautions for using it.” Yang Le instructed.
“The Ultimate Incubator can only be used once, and the usage time must not exceed 5 minutes, otherwise the alien hero DNA will collapse. Not only will the DNA disappear, but it will also cause damage to you and the Omnitrix.”
“Don't worry, I will definitely use it carefully.” Diamondhead patted his chest.
After a while, Diamondhead, who got the incubator, returned to the Avengers Tower. The Avengers were already fully armed.
“You're finally back, buddy.” Thor whistled.
“I was just about to look for you.”
“Sorry, reporting the situation took some time.” Diamondhead apologized to everyone.
“It's okay, reporting to the leaders always wastes a lot of time.” Hawkeye looked like he had been there before.
“Enough small talk, let's talk about business first.” Tony interrupted the chatting crowd.
“We still have a lot of business to do.”
“Yes, go clean up your mess.” Thor said sarcastically.
Tony pretended not to hear, after all, it was indeed his problem, and he couldn't help this time, so he could only choose to avoid the edge for the time being.
“Do you have any plans?” Diamondhead asked Steve.
“According to the information brought back by the shapeshifter, Ultron has an army of at least 120 robots, and a Chitauri Leviathan is still under repair, but just in case, it must be included in the threat. I really don't know how he got this thing.”
Steve looked at the information in his hand with a frown, unable to understand.
How else could he get it? Pick it up from Hydra. Of course, Yang Le would definitely not say such divisive words, after all, it would not benefit him to say it. S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra have already made all the money they should have, and it's time to shift their target.
And Ultron is related to his target.
“I also scanned that there are many strange metals in Ultron's hiding place.” The shapeshifter said, inserting his hand into the computer next to him and playing the recording in his brain.
In the recording, everyone saw Ultron's robot army, and a pile of strangely shaped transparent containers in the corner.
“In my scan, it is highly consistent with a metal on Earth. You call it Vibranium. As far as I know, it is very precious, but Ultron has a lot of Vibranium.”
“My God.” Banner couldn't help but blurt out. “Does Ultron want to build a Vibranium body?”
“Where did he get so much Vibranium?” Tony asked with a serious expression.
“Has Wakanda been stolen? Why haven't we received any news?”
“It's not just this.” Fury walked in with a dark face.
“We haven't received a lot of news. Some laboratories or companies have been attacked by Ultron. Ultron intercepted this information. If it weren't for an agent running back to report to me, we might still be kept in the dark.”
