#289 - Why fight one-on-one when you can fight in a group?
While Flash was helping Impulse clean the ice off of himself, Yang Le peeked his head out from behind the information desk, making sure no one else would notice him.
World-renowned superheroes and Central City's notorious villains were all right in front of him. If it weren't for his lost memories, Yang Le would definitely take a picture and sell it to the Central City Daily News for a hefty profit.
Unfortunately, everything had to give way to his lost memories. Temporary wealth was definitely not as important as figuring out his identity. What if he was a multi-millionaire?
Of course, if his original life was even worse than his current one, then he'd rather pretend nothing happened. Although his current life was poor, it was relatively stable. In any case, life had to go on.
Yang Le turned his gaze, searching for that blue figure. Although the Reverse-Flash, who was tied up there, was also blue, Yang Le knew that Reverse-Flash was definitely not the person he was looking for.
But after scanning the entire hall, Yang Le didn't see the figure he was looking for. It was as if the image he saw on TV was just his hallucination.
Was it really just his imagination? Yang Le began to doubt himself. Indeed, with only one frame of the image, Yang Le wasn't sure if he had seen it wrong.
He sighed softly, and Yang Le was about to turn around and leave when he noticed a red figure standing behind him. He was so startled that he almost jumped up. On closer inspection, he realized that it was Flash who had somehow appeared behind him.
"Um, hello," Yang Le awkwardly raised his hand and greeted Flash.
"Hello," Flash also raised his hand in response, then he said sternly.
"Sir, although I don't know when you got here, I'm sure you haven't been here long. You need to know that there has just been a superhuman battle here, and that's not a joke. You could be injured."
"Yes, yes, I know," Yang Le nodded repeatedly, thinking to himself that he should just fool him first. "I just got lost by accident. I'll leave right away."
Impulse staggered two steps. The hall of the museum was too quiet. Even though Yang Le and Flash's voices weren't loud, everyone present could hear them clearly.
Impulse curled his lips and said, "Who gets lost and crosses a police cordon?"
'See through but don't say through, brat!' Yang Le complained in his heart, but he didn't show it on his face, instead showing an awkward but polite smile.
"Sigh." Flash sighed and shook his head helplessly. "Sir, although you may be reluctant, I need to hand you over to the police."
Yang Le was dumbfounded when he heard this, and asked eagerly, "Why? I haven't committed any crime?"
"You haven't committed any crime, but intruding on a superhuman battle is a very dangerous thing. To prevent you from doing it again in the future, I think you must attend a superhuman risk avoidance lecture organized by the police."
Flash spoke eloquently. Although he didn't say it directly, he already regarded Yang Le as a fanatical superhero fan. In the past, he, Clark, Hal, and Diana had been troubled by these kinds of people.
Rather, the superheroes in the Justice League, except for Batman, were more or less affected by fanatical fans.
What? You ask why Batman wouldn't be affected? Of course, it's not because of his fighting style that wouldn't be discovered. Even Batman has many times when he has to fight under the gaze of the public.
The reason why Batman is not affected is because he doesn't indulge these people. Although Diana and other warrior-minded superheroes will also reprimand those people, they are not as ruthless as Batman. He will really knock them unconscious or hang them up with a grapple.
After doing this a few times, naturally no one will come to him again. Batman doesn't care about other people's comments. On the contrary, he even deliberately created some bad reviews for himself in order to prevent this phenomenon from happening.
This phenomenon is basically like bamboo shoots after a rain, and it always pops up from time to time. These fanatical fans regard their favorite heroes as gods, and sometimes deliberately put themselves in danger in order to have their favorite heroes save them.
This led to more and more work for the superheroes. Later, the Justice League and the police jointly launched this education course, specifically arresting those fanatical fans and gathering them together for classes. With control, this phenomenon has indeed been greatly reduced.
"Then you're done for, kid," Captain Cold said with a smile. "I heard that this education course is very long, 40 minutes per class, and you have to take 12 classes in total. You'll suffer then."
"Not only that, but you also have to be registered with the police," Impulse added from the side. "After all, this course is mandatory. If you don't go, the police will come to you."
Yang Le clicked his tongue secretly. Only such strict regulations could control people. However, Yang Le wasn't afraid of taking classes. What he was afraid of was registration. He knew that his current identity was borrowed. If the police found out during registration, he would be finished. It wouldn't be just a few education courses that could solve the problem then.
"That..."
Yang Le just wanted to ask Flash to let him go, but his words were interrupted by a sudden loud noise. Before he could react, the scene in front of him had already changed.
In the blink of an eye, he was still in the hall of the Flash Museum, and in the blink of an eye, he was already standing on the road outside the museum. Not only him, but Captain Cold and Reverse-Flash, who were tied up, and Wally, whose thighs were frostbitten, were all next to him, and in front of them stood Flash, and further ahead was a blurry blue figure.
The blue figure was constantly surrounded by cyan electric currents. His figure seemed to be in a state of extremely high-speed vibration. Perhaps it was because of this reason that Yang Le's mortal eyes could not see the other party's true face.
"You've finally shown your true colors," Flash frowned, but the corners of his mouth were slightly raised. "You're the guy who's been nipping at my heels lately, right?"
The blue figure didn't respond, and was still in a state of extremely high-speed vibration. Flash broke into a cold sweat. Even he couldn't see the other party's true appearance. This showed that the other party's speed, or rather, the Speed Force, was still above him. Since joining the Justice League, he had never encountered an opponent whose speed could overwhelm him like this.
"This is Flash," Without any hesitation, Flash connected to the Justice League's public channel. "I've encountered a difficult opponent. I need some help."
The benefit of fan fiction is that heroes mostly no longer engage in inexplicable one-on-one battles. Although the screenwriters euphemistically call it arrogance or something, it's cool in a few cases, but it looks really stupid in most cases.
