#437 - Kryptonians vs. Eternals (2)
Hyperion was infuriated by Yang Le's words, feeling insulted. He once again used his cosmic abilities to enhance his physical functions, attempting to break free from Yang Le's control and teach him a lesson.
However, the result astonished him. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't escape Yang Le's grasp. He was pushed above the clouds under Yang Le's control.
Yang Le's speed continuously increased. After a series of sonic booms, Hyperion realized they had broken through the atmosphere and were in the vast, boundless universe.
Yang Le released Hyperion, and before the latter could retaliate, Yang Le punched him in the face. This punch used seventy to eighty percent of his strength, stunning Hyperion.
Ignoring the dazed Hyperion, Yang Le turned and opened his arms, exposing himself to the sun's rays.
The scorching yellow sun continuously nourished Yang Le in his Kryptonian form. He could feel every cell in his body cheering with joy.
After absorbing a certain amount of yellow solar radiation, Yang Le turned again to face his opponent, Hyperion. The latter had already recovered from his dizziness thanks to the Eternals' strong regenerative abilities. Moreover, Hyperion had regrouped and charged towards Yang Le.
In space, Hyperion's speed increased even further, easily breaking the sound barrier. However, this terrifying speed was incredibly slow in Yang Le's eyes, like slow motion. Yang Le even had time to use his X-ray vision to observe the Eternals' body structure.
Hyperion ferociously unleashed his strongest punch, but to his surprise, Yang Le didn't move at all. However, this didn't stop him from throwing his punch.
Just as Hyperion's fist was one millimeter away from Yang Le's cheek, his fist stopped. Moreover, Hyperion even loosened his fist, covered his abdomen, and trembled backward.
Large beads of sweat turned into ice crystals as soon as they appeared on Hyperion's forehead. His face was filled with pain and shock. After a moment of thought, Hyperion understood what had happened.
'He hit my abdomen before my fist hit him? How is that possible?!'
Hyperion tried to dispel this thought from his mind. The longer this thought remained in his head, the more his fighting spirit waned. Hyperion was surprised to find that even though his abdomen no longer hurt, his trembling hadn't stopped.
For the first time since his birth, Hyperion felt the taste of fear. The Eternals' powerful physique had always placed Hyperion at the top of the food chain since birth. Except for a few people who used his weakness, Uru, against him, he never failed.
Even the Sorcerer Supreme on Earth, Hyperion only respected his knowledge and wisdom, but he never felt fear. However, facing Yang Le, whose abilities were similar but completely surpassed him, he truly felt a sense of powerlessness.
This sense of powerlessness gradually accumulated over time, slowly evolving into fear.
Hyperion bent over like a shrimp, looked up at the upright Yang Le, and was completely shrouded in the shadow of Yang Le, who was facing away from the sun.
Hyperion only blinked, and Yang Le had already flashed in front of him. Hyperion felt incredibly small at this moment. Yang Le's eyes were without joy or sorrow, as if he had never taken him seriously.
Yang Le's lips moved, and although no sound came out, Hyperion still understood what he meant from the shape of his mouth.
"My turn."
The next second, Yang Le's hand grabbed Hyperion's neck. Although he didn't need to breathe, Yang Le still used his powerful force to make Hyperion, with his strong defense, feel pain.
Hyperion grabbed Yang Le's arm with both hands, trying to break free from Yang Le's control, but Yang Le, who had just bathed in yellow sunlight, was clearly not someone he could deal with. Ignoring Hyperion's weak punches, Yang Le grabbed Hyperion and plunged straight towards Earth.
...
"Are you saying that a suddenly appearing mysterious person saved Happy and then took the Supreme Squadron's Hyperion into the sky?"
Magneto listened to Scott's account with surprise and then asked his question.
"Yes, Headmaster," Scott nodded, and Gambit chimed in.
"That's right, Headmaster. You can look around. This was all caused by those two big guys."
Magneto glanced around. In fact, he had seen the devastation as soon as he arrived. It was hard to believe that this was originally a clean open space.
Magneto snorted softly. He knew Hyperion, one of the founders and leaders of the masked vigilante team, the Supreme Squadron. His strength had always been unfathomable, and even Magneto himself didn't have a 100% certainty of defeating him.
Now, someone who is comparable to him has appeared, as if out of nowhere. He had never even heard of him before. He didn't know if this was good or bad news for him.
However, at least for now, this person is showing goodwill towards mutants. Maybe he can be recruited. Mutants who can only be supported by themselves are still not enough. Ororo and Jean have high potential, but they both have many shortcomings.

Ororo has been imprisoned by humans since she was a child, wasting a lot of time. Now she is not very proficient in using her abilities, and she has psychological shadows planted in her heart due to her long imprisonment.
Jean is afraid of her mental abilities because Professor X, who raised and nurtured her, went mad. She is afraid that she will follow in her mentor's footsteps, and she has always been resistant to developing and using her abilities. Moreover, today's social atmosphere does not allow Jean, who possesses mental abilities, to show her face.
The task is arduous, Magneto sighed, and suddenly he felt two special magnetic fields appearing on Earth, and they were in the high sky.
"Hmm?" Magneto looked up and only saw a fiery red fireball falling from the high sky, heading towards them.
Magneto waved his hand, and the ground under the mutants' feet began to tremble, and was finally pulled up. Magneto flew away with Scott and others.
"Boom!"
Like a meteorite falling, a deep pit was smashed into the ground. Scott and others on the ground block finally stabilized themselves from the storm, and they could only stick their heads out to look when the aftermath of the explosion dissipated.
After the smoke and dust from the explosion dissipated, Yang Le, wearing a white and black spandex suit, stood in the center of the crater in a scorched earth. At his feet was Hyperion, who had lost consciousness and was in ragged clothes.
