Ikthurians, or Ghostfreak, possess many abilities similar to those of ghosts in human horror stories, including possession. Of course, control after possession is also possible, but Yang Le's purpose in this trip is not to control Reynolds' body.

Yang Le's purpose is to communicate directly with Robert's soul and decide how to deal with Robert based on the situation of the communication.

When Ghostfreak possesses someone, he doesn't only have the option of controlling the body. He can also erase the soul of the possessed person, which Zs'Skayr has done before.

However, using this ability is not without limitations. Although Ghostfreak can possess almost any life form, including the Celestials, if the possessed person has a strong will or a powerful soul, they can drive Ghostfreak out of the body, like Aunt May.

Once driven out, the subsequent abilities cannot be used, so it's important to choose the right target for this ability.

And Robert is clearly a good choice. Even the Sentry of Earth-616 is not a person with a strong will. After gaining his powers, he has been constantly running away because Robert himself doesn't think he deserves the Sentry's power.

The Sentry didn't even give Yang Le as much security as Doctor Doom. At least Doctor Doom actually does things. Regardless of his ultimate goal, did he do them or not?

So Yang Le decided that if Robert was just a weak, ordinary person who had been蛊惑, he would use the Omnitrix to eliminate his powers before he fully understood them.

After all, theoretically, the Sentry's power is 'I think' power. If the Sentry understands his power and doesn't think his power can be eliminated, then the Omnitrix's gene repair ability can't do anything about it.

But as long as he hasn't fully mastered his abilities, Yang Le can still nip it in the bud. Or Yang Le can make the worst plan and directly erase Robert's soul.

Yang Le breathed out a cold breath and decided to try one last time. If it really didn't work, he would implement Plan B (gene repair), and if that didn't work, he could only use Plan C (soul erasure).
