#559 - move place(?)
After a long separation, the mood was very complicated.
What followed was naturally a lengthy explanation. Pu Ba essentially repeated the same things he had told Steve and the others to Tony and Thor.
"Sounds like a randomly written comic book," Tony habitually commented. "A multiverse-level crisis? Wow, did I mishear something?"
"You didn't mishear, Tony Stark." Pu Ba didn't take Tony's confrontational tone to heart, after all, that's just how he was.
Besides, when you suddenly talk about the multiverse to someone who hasn't been exposed to that level, most people might think you're making things up, especially someone as knowledgeable and opinionated as Tony.
Such people will never back down until there is decisive evidence to overturn their theories, and there have been many similar cases in history.
"The multiverse is like a candy ball for children. It looks incredibly hard, but it can be easily destroyed."
A voice unfamiliar to Tony and Thor suddenly rang out. Before they could become alert, Martian Manhunter emerged from below.
"Who are you?" Tony questioned, while his right hand quietly reached for the watch on his left wrist, one of his only remaining pieces of weaponry. The rest were either unusable due to lack of energy, disassembled for use elsewhere, or gathering dust.
Thor also raised his hands, ready to strike the enemy before him with lightning if necessary.
Steve and the others naturally stopped this tense atmosphere. Under their explanation, Tony and Thor learned that the green-skinned man before them was a member of the Celestial Workshop.
"So, you only sent two people?" Tony frowned. He knew that as the party being helped, they couldn't ask for more, but very few people can rationally accept this news.
"Don't say that, Tony."
Steve could understand Tony's thoughts. To be honest, if he hadn't witnessed Martian Manhunter's strength, even he would have inevitably felt some resentment in his heart.
"Pu Ba and Martian Manhunter are both very strong. Martian Manhunter, in particular, possesses combat power no less than Thor's, and he even took care of Corvus Glaive."
Hearing this, Tony finally changed his expression. If what Steve said was true, then Martian Manhunter was indeed the combat power they needed most right now.
In reality, if it were the Thor from the comic universe, Martian Manhunter would still be somewhat afraid, but the current Thor from the movie universe wasn't qualified yet, at least not until Thor awakened.
"His head and weapon are in the base," Martian Manhunter said in a timely manner. "Because it was too bloody, I left them in the base."
"As mentioned before, the Celestial Workshop also suffered a lot of damage in the previous battle, and many agents sacrificed themselves," Pu Ba said, feigning a sad look.
"For example, Ooze, he died in that battle. According to Leno Pan's physiology, he was barely an adult."
Ooze was a Leno Pan, commonly known as a Purple Mud Star person, who had appeared in the previous Celestial Workshop agent role-playing.
Anyway, Yang Le had the final say on what aliens would appear. Now that they had Martian Manhunter as a superior replacement, Ooze naturally had no room to appear, so in order to reflect the cruelty of war, Yang Le simply killed him off.
Moreover, he got along very well with the Avengers in his Leno Pan state, and was even very close to Tony, which was one of the reasons he was passively sent to his funeral.
Sure enough, upon hearing the name Ooze, the originally aggressive Tony immediately wilted. In his opinion, no one would joke about their companion's life, so Ooze must really be dead.
He opened his mouth, but Tony couldn't say a word. He thought he was used to losing, but after hearing the news of the alien mud's death, he suddenly realized that he had thought himself too strong.
"I'm sorry."
Tony finally only said this, which made Yang Le very uncomfortable. He wondered if he had been too ruthless.
"Let the past be the past," Pu Ba quickly changed the subject. "Not only you, but we also need to look forward, for those who are no longer here."
"That's right," Steve agreed with what Pu Ba said. Even if the others didn't speak, their expressions showed that they thought the same way.
"Before moving forward, you need some small help," Martian Manhunter pointed to the double-door refrigerator next to him. "The help you need is there."
"In the refrigerator? It wouldn't be Shaman Smores and Cinnamon Donuts, would it?" Tony seemed to have recovered, and his mouth became sharp again. "Honestly, my stomach does need them, but…"
Tony said as he opened the refrigerator door, stopping when he saw the scene inside, because it wasn't a clean white refrigerator interior, but a dark, muddy tunnel.
"A secret passage?" Tony curled his lips. "Honestly, very cliché."
The Avengers: Endgame should have used your mouth to snap your fingers, this hardness is not much worse than the Eternals.
"Are you going to use it or not?" Pu Ba lost a bit of patience.

Tony said, "If you have complete equipment, then of course I want it!"
After speaking, Tony took the lead and walked into the tunnel. Facts proved that even Tony couldn't find any fault in the base personally built by the Small Soldiers.
"Barely acceptable," Tony said stubbornly.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Pu Ba nodded and started to act shamelessly.
"Is this the second base of the Celestial Workshop?" Tony looked around in confusion. "So the fact that employees are aliens in disguise doesn't just happen in movies."
"No, the Plumbers only have one base," Pu Ba shook his head and answered Tony's question, but Tony was very surprised after hearing the answer.
"Only one?" Tony frowned. "I remember it being in the sea? Did I track it wrong?"
But he quickly denied it himself: "No, if I got it wrong, Steve and the others wouldn't be able to find it here, would they?"
"The location you found is correct, Tony," Steve answered Tony's question. "Martian Manhunter moved the base here."
"Moved it here? Alone? From the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean?" Tony's eyes widened. "You must be kidding me, this joke is too bad."
"Captain isn't joking, Tony," Natasha said with a smile. "If we hadn't seen it with our own eyes, we wouldn't have believed it. We were there at the time."
"Martian Manhunter pulled the base out of the sea, carried it across the Atlantic Ocean, and dug all the way through the ground, taking no more than two hours."
