The Comprehensive Evolution of American Comics

#609 - No one knows super powers better than me.

Just as Kitty was still stunned, the warehouse door slowly opened amidst a burst of rousing music.

Then she saw a scene that made her even more disoriented.

"Hello there, Mrs. Yang."

Gwenpool, standing inside the warehouse, greeted Gwen at the door. The latter was about to respond, but the inexplicable address made her blush.

"Alright, Pool!" Gwen gritted her teeth lightly. "Don't waste time on such meaningless jokes."

"You got it." Gwenpool bowed and then stepped aside. "What are you waiting for, beautiful lady? Hot cocoa is ready inside."

Gwen just glared at the clowning Gwenpool and pulled the dazed Kitty into the warehouse. Gwenpool then noticed the other person hiding behind Gwen.

"This is?" Gwenpool pushed up non-existent glasses, carefully identified her, and then exclaimed loudly.

"Oh my god! It's Shadowcat Kitty!"

Still in a daze, Kitty was startled by the sudden sound. When she came back to her senses, Gwenpool was already standing in front of her with a huge autograph book.

"Can I have an autograph? Write 'To Gwen Poole from Shadowcat Kitty.'"

"Ah, okay, okay..." Kitty blankly took the pen and paper, and then dazedly wrote down what Gwenpool had just said.

"WOW!" Gwenpool held up the autograph book, shouting like SpongeBob.

"That's not right!" Kitty suddenly woke up. Because she was so shocked, her voice even echoed in the warehouse.

"What's wrong, Kitty?" Gwen seemed to come here often, because she already had two bottles of juice in her hand. Judging by the water droplets and frost on them, they must have just been taken out of the refrigerator.

"Here, I thought you and Pool were getting along well. What's wrong? Is she bullying you?"

Gwen handed a bottle of juice to Kitty and continued, "I hope you don't mind. Pool is always quite lively, but she doesn't have any bad intentions."

"That's not the problem, Gwen!" Kitty looked very helpless. "There are two Gwens here! One is you! One is her!"

As Kitty spoke, she pointed at Gwen and Gwenpool. Gwenpool waved at Kitty when she was pointed at, as if to say hello.

"You mean this?" Gwen awkwardly put the juice aside. "It's a bit troublesome to explain. Just think of Pool as another me."

"Classic parallel universes, isn't it?" Gwenpool threw her autograph book like a frisbee. "The favorite of science fiction literature. Just apply it to anything that can't be explained."

The autograph book slammed into the shelf with a clang. Its accuracy was so high that people couldn't help but cheer for her.

"You didn't even throw it in, Pool," Gwen said, looking at Gwenpool, who was striking a closing pose, with black lines all over her face.

"What were those bubbles that appeared just now?" Kitty asked.

"You can think of it as Pool's superpower, just like your phasing and my spider superpowers."

Gwen shot out a web, pulled the autograph book off the ground, and casually flipped through a few pages, finding that many names she didn't recognize had appeared on it.

"You've added a lot of new people, Pool. Looks like you've been busy recently."

"Of course, what makes me so special? The protagonist always has to be a little busy."

Gwenpool proudly puffed out her chest. Being needed by her favorite character and being able to continue her multiverse adventure made Gwenpool very satisfied with her current life.

Moreover, the work she was doing now couldn't be easily done even by Yang Le. Didn't this prove that she was born unique?

As expected, transmigrators are born protagonists!

Gwen sighed and shook her head helplessly. If you ignored the occasional clowning and the things she said that you couldn't understand, Gwenpool was a good friend. However, if you included those things, it was tiring to get along with her.

Pinching the autograph book with two fingers, Gwen casually flicked it without looking. The autograph book landed accurately on the shelf like a frisbee. This time it was real.

"Just like I told you before, Pool, we might be bothering you for a while. Of course, if you can contact Happy, we can leave early."

"Don't say such polite things." Gwenpool spread her arms and put Gwen and Kitty in her embrace. She said while hugging them.

"I've been looking forward to it ever since your information came over. I've prepared a series of plans. We're going to watch superhero movies together, then tokusatsu, and finally horror movies, screaming like classic white teenage girls."

"At the same time, while watching movies, we can guiltlessly eat high-calorie foods that we usually don't dare to eat. You know, call it a relaxation day, but it doesn't matter because we're virtual characters, so as long as the author isn't an idiot, we'll never gain weight!"

'What on earth is she talking about?' Kitty's mind was a mess. She recognized every word Gwenpool said, but she couldn't understand them when they were put together.

Kitty looked at Gwen, but found that the latter gave her a helpless look, obviously not understanding what Gwenpool was saying either.

"We can't relax, Pool," Gwen broke free from Gwenpool's embrace. "The outside world is very chaotic right now. I need to train Kitty to be able to use her powers proficiently in case of emergencies."

"Superpower training! Great!" Gwenpool's eyes lit up. "Guess what? I'm the most knowledgeable person about superpowers in the entire Marvel universe."

Gwenpool spread her hands and began to make a gesture non-stop, while constantly saying, "No one! Knows! More! About! Superpowers!"

"That's great," Gwen said as if relieved. "I was worried about not knowing how to teach Kitty. It's great if you know the details about this."

Looking at the two almost identical people in front of her, who had decided her fate like this, Kitty could only give a resigned smile.

"There's no time to lose," Gwenpool hopped towards an object covered by a cloth. "Let's start the first training lesson now."

After speaking, Gwenpool walked to the object. She reached out and tore off the layer of cloth. Only then did the two see what was covered.

It was an automatic pitching machine, but it was painted with a layer of pink paint and decorated with some ribbons, making it look a little cuter.

"First lesson, dodge the death ball!" Gwenpool licked her lips, looking at Kitty, who was already stunned.

"Get ready, it hurts a lot to get hit."
