The Goddess of Death seemed to materialize directly from the shadows, instantly appearing behind him in his blind spot.

In the Marvel Universe, the established upper limit of strength is one hundred tons. Every being possessing this level of power is a well-known character, such as Thor, Hulk, Thanos, and Hela, among others.

Of course, this limit doesn't mean these characters can only lift one hundred tons. It's the observable limit set by Marvel. For example, the Hulk has lifted mountains weighing approximately one hundred and fifty billion tons.

This obviously exceeds one hundred tons by a significant margin.

So, while Hela's strength is theoretically one hundred tons, she can actually unleash power far beyond this limit, and her Nightsword can withstand this force.

The sword, resembling moonlight, pierced through the air, its target being Yang Le's heart. If this strike landed, even Odin would be seriously injured.

Hela was confident that this strike would definitely hit. Even if Yang Le turned around immediately, it would be too late. She had pushed her speed to the limit in order to deliver a fatal blow.

Unlike Yang Le's preference for taking the long way around, Hela favored a concise and effective approach. She would never complicate things if she could use words, and similarly, she would never be soft-hearted when action was required.

However, her opponent exceeded her expectations. Yang Le didn't even turn around; as if he had eyes in the back of his head, he reached behind him and intercepted the Nightsword's path, using two fingers to pinch the sharp blade.

"Buzz!"

The force of Hela's thrust and Yang Le's pinching force were simultaneously applied to the Nightsword. To Hela's horror, the Nightsword actually bent slightly.

Seeing this, Hela immediately stopped channeling her power. She knew that if she continued to apply force recklessly, the only outcome would be the Nightsword shattering into a pile of scrap metal.

Hela speculated that she might not even be able to withdraw her sword, so she cast a spell to retrieve it. Without the sword's constraint, Hela was once again free.

Despite this, Hela didn't give up her offensive. She raised her left hand, and several spikes condensed beside her hand. With a palm strike, the spikes shot out together.

The sharp spikes pierced through the air, leaving behind a series of harsh noises. Yang Le casually flicked his hand, blocking Hela's palm while also deflecting the incoming spikes.

Yang Le twisted his wrist, trying to grab Hela, but she transformed into green smoke before him. The wind from his right hand dissipated the smoke.

Yang Le turned his head and saw a green raven that had risen to a higher altitude than him at some point, transforming back into Hela.

Hela simultaneously made a grasping motion with both hands. In the next second, green energy formed in her palms. Then, like throwing a baseball, Hela hurled the energy balls.

With billowing smoke, the energy ball, wrapped in the power of death, exploded at Yang Le's feet after dodging and weaving. The splashing energy corroded the earth, making it clear that being hit by this stuff was not a good option.

There was no time to rest. More energy balls were waiting for Yang Le to deal with. Facing the death energy that could drain the life from the earth, Yang Le chose to take them all.

Holding his hands out flat, one in front and one behind, Yang Le amplified his presence, attracting the attention of all the energy balls like the sun. As he circled his hands, all the energy balls were drawn into his palms.

"Snap!"

He clapped his hands together, and all the energy balls disappeared without a trace. When Yang Le released his hands, the death energy had been converted into pure cosmic energy.

"My turn!"

With that, Yang Le's right hand grabbed the newly converted cosmic energy. Accompanied by his sword-drawing gesture, a blade composed entirely of energy gradually formed as he moved, looking as if it was pulled out of thin air.

The next second, Yang Le rushed in front of Hela, who frowned and flipped her wrist, the Nightsword appearing in her hand once more.

"Clang!"

Tangible and intangible, the two swords collided, and the resulting storm spread in all directions, causing their cloaks to flutter and creating a cloudless vacuum zone in the air.

"Clang clang clang!"

In the blink of an eye, Yang Le and Hela had exchanged dozens of blows. Even the sound lagged behind their attack speed. Rather than the power causing a vacuum zone around them, it was their exquisite swordsmanship that was awe-inspiring.

As the Goddess of Death, Hela was also an accomplished sword master and magic master. Her strength could be said to be comprehensive, and she was one of the few opponents who could last this long against Yang Le after he fused with X-Man.

Moreover, Hela was looking for an opportunity to counterattack. The Nightsword, a thin sword that could be wielded with one hand, allowed Hela to use skill to overcome strength, blocking Yang Le's storm-like attacks with her swordsmanship.

So, while she appeared to be holding the sword with both hands, only her right hand was actually gripping the hilt. Her left hand was always in a loose grip, having already prepared a magic spell, waiting for Yang Le to expose a flaw.

Finally, after more than a dozen rounds of offense and defense, Hela found an opportunity. Perhaps unwilling to endure this prolonged battle, Yang Le recklessly seized the flaw that Hela had deliberately presented and thrust out his sword.

This unreserved thrust would inevitably be impossible to retract. Hela seized the opportunity to retract the Nightsword while ducking to avoid the incoming blade. Her left hand, which had been prepared for a long time, bloomed with green light.

Hela's left hand, like a viper, twisted and reached towards Yang Le's chest. Once she bit her prey, she would never let go, tearing off a large piece of flesh.

This was one of her most prized abilities, which Hela called the Hand of Glory, a technique that concentrated a large amount of energy into her hands, creating a powerful killing force.

The Hand of Glory was incredibly powerful. Hela had once speculated that this move could tear through Odin's defenses, and if the timing was right, it might even kill Odin in one blow.

This was originally a killing move she had prepared for those Asgardian barbarians, but unexpectedly it was used on someone whose name she didn't even know. It was truly unpredictable, but it didn't matter as long as she could win.

However, before Hela could revel in the joy of victory, the part of Yang Le's body that she had torn off changed. As the Goddess of Death, she could feel that the flesh she had torn off was lifeless, like the cast-off skin of some creature.

'Not good!'

Hela shouted inwardly that something was wrong. By the time she wanted to withdraw, it was too late. The sword that had been thrust out had somehow pierced her.

Right in the abdomen!
