The Joker, following behind the athlete, still wore that smiling expression. He could tell that Mr. 'Sandwich' and his companions weren't entirely at ease with him, yet they had to rely on him.

This was all because he held so much weight in Batman's mind, a kind of indirect praise, perhaps. The Joker liked sponsors with taste.

However, he didn't like the way the sponsor invited him, nor the compensation he was being paid.

The Joker smirked, glancing at the metal baseball bat behind the athlete's back, seemingly lost in thought.

...

Justice Mountain welcomed two new residents in addition to the original three.

The first was Troy, who had just joined yesterday. Having just been brought out of Paradise Island by Diana, she naturally had no new residence and could only live in Justice Mountain.

The second person wasn't Artemis, also a new member, as she had her own place. Instead, it was Aqualad Jackson, who had just recovered from his injuries. After all, he was an Atlantean and didn't naturally have a place to live on land.

Justice Mountain was becoming increasingly lively.

Because Jackson, as an original member of Young Justice, had missed yesterday's welcome party, the members of Young Justice unanimously decided they should make up for it.

Jackson politely declined with a smile, not wanting everyone to make a fuss over him alone. Then, Megan came up with a good idea.

"How about we all go for a drive?" Megan put her hands together, looking at everyone with anticipation.

"A drive?" Wally scratched his head. "But is there a car that can fit all of us?"

"It doesn't have to be a car," Dick said, patting Wally on the shoulder. "Aircraft are also an option."

Wally swatted Dick's hand away, saying in annoyance, "What? Are you going to steal Batman's aircraft? I'll pray to God for your success."

Dick shrugged. He was just saying it. He would dare to steal the Batwing, but only if there was a valid reason. If Batman found out he stole the Batwing just for a drive...

His legs would definitely be broken.

"No need to be so troublesome!" Megan was as excited as an elementary school student about to go on a field trip. She led everyone to the Justice Mountain's hangar.

This could be said to be the largest room in all of Justice Mountain. Originally, it was used to park the Justice League's various amazing aircraft. After the Justice League moved to the Watchtower, it was abandoned along with Justice Mountain.

Even after Young Justice moved in, it remained the same. After all, the Watchtower had teleportation devices, and heroes rarely used various means of transportation for long-distance travel.

It had only been cleaned once the last time Justice Mountain was reactivated. After that, no one had come here for months, and no one knew why Megan was bringing them here.

"Hey!" Wally whispered, nudging Harby.

"Do you guys know what Megan is up to? Why is she bringing us to this place?"

"Megan didn't say," Conner, with his super hearing, heard Wally's question and answered for Harby.

"She said she wanted to give everyone a surprise, and she didn't even tell us."

Conner's volume was normal, so not only the people nearby but even Megan, who was walking in the front, heard him.

"Looks like everyone can't wait," Megan said with a chuckle, turning around and stretching out her arm to press the door button.

As the door slowly opened, a wide room appeared before everyone, well, wide and empty.

"Uh," Wally was at a loss for words, not knowing what to say to express his current mood.

"Looks like the plane is late," Artemis said, giving Megan a way out. "So? Can I go back to training?"

Before being called here, she had been practicing archery at the range, accompanied by Troy. The Amazonians were also quite accomplished in archery.

Conner took a step back and blocked the two who wanted to leave. Although he didn't know what Megan meant, he was willing to believe that Megan wasn't the type to do things without a purpose.

"Wait a moment," Conner said. "I think Megan will show us the answer soon."

Artemis glanced at Conner. She was actually just making a joke, but the girl overlooked the fact that her relationship with Megan wasn't that close, and she might not be able to accept such an excessive joke.

Conner, on the other hand, didn't understand jokes. He really thought Artemis was turning to leave. Fortunately, Jackson stood up before things could potentially escalate further.

"There's no need for everyone to be so confrontational," Jackson gently pushed Conner away a little, preventing him from invading Artemis's safe space too much.

As a clone, Superboy wasn't very knowledgeable about complex human interactions. He didn't realize that invading a person's safe space could bring a sense of oppression and threat.

Sometimes, it could just be a matter of distance that could trigger a physical confrontation.

"Conner, Artemis doesn't really want to leave, she's just making a joke," Jackson said, then looked to the other side. "Artemis, Conner doesn't understand human interactions very well yet, try not to make such jokes in the future."

"Got it, my fault," Artemis apologized first. She was grateful that someone could stand up at this time, otherwise, she might not be able to save face, which wasn't what she wanted to see on her path to justice.

"I'm also at fault," Conner was an honest child, his personality was much better than in the original work.

"Alright everyone," Dick also stood up to smooth things over. "Megan still has a surprise for us, how can you neglect the star for so long? Right, Megan?"

Looking at Dick winking at her, Megan quickly turned her about-to-turn-red cheeks green. She quickly flew to the side of the tarmac, and with her movements, a red alien aircraft appeared before everyone.

"Bio-ship!" Megan spread her arms. "I came to Earth sitting on her back, following Uncle J'onn."

"Wow!" Wally was on the tarmac in the blink of an eye, running around the bio-ship several times, afraid of missing any details.

"This is so cool, I heard Martian bio-ships are like living beings, even more powerful than aircraft equipped with artificial intelligence!"

"Not entirely," Megan suppressed her proud mood. "It can only be said that each has its own merits."

At this time, the others also arrived on the tarmac, and Harby asked, "If that's the case, why didn't you take it out before?"

Megan scratched her head awkwardly, and said with a smile, "Because I broke it before, so I asked Uncle J'onn to help me send it for repairs, and it was just repaired yesterday."
