The Curse Of The Evil Queen

"Oh my god… Oh my God… Oh my God…" I was trembling in fear. There was this stalker who was following me since earlier. I know I needed to get out of the mall as soon as possible.

It was creepy… and nerve wrecking. I haven't experienced this in my life. It was so unexpected that I don't know what to do. 

I was taking big steps. I have to get away from here! I have to escape! That's the only thing running in my mind. 

My hand was trembling in fear when a car stopped right in front of me. 

"Miss! Get in!" 

My body went cold in fear while going inside. Hugging myself, I looked at the familiar man who was driving the car. It was max, in his usual formal attire. 

Breathing deeply, I tried to calm myself down. 

"You okay, Miss?"

I stopped trembling as my fear receded. My body frozen in place and everything else stilled. Her world stops spinning as her mind accepts and process the familiar voice of Lianno wo just called her 'Miss'. 

She celestina couldn't speak. She couldn't move, she couldn't do anything but to stare at the familiar face of her husband who's looking back at her with no emotion on his face. 

He was just looking at her like she's nothing to him. And it hurts. There's no intensity in his stares anymore, no love and adoration in his eyes. 

What happened to him?

Her chest tightened up. She's afraid to be rejected by her own husband, as what she calls Lianno, That was the only thing that will make her insane. 

The Lianno she's looking at now is not her husband. This man is cold, uncaring and callous. Her Lianno is a sweet man. He's clingy and he would have hug her in the moment she entered the car.

But still… she couldn't look away. She missed him so much. She wanted to hug him badly, to feel the warm in his body. To make sure that he's really alive! But all she can do is keep on staring at him until he sighed and shook his head. 

Her sight went wavy. Touching her head to provide support. She found herself getting taken away by darkness. The stress, the fear and the surprised feeling that she's feeling earlier didn't help at all.

I woke up, my head is aching so bad. I open my eyes and saw an unfamiliar place. Is this what heaven looks like? I ask myself. I look around to find clues that can answer my question about where am I. I'm not in the hospital that's what thing I'm sure of. This room is too luxurious and spacious just to be one.

I suddenly remembered the car that I'm with earlier. Lianno… is he Lianno?

Suddenly I'm amazed by the Interior design of this room. It's even bigger than my room in my parent's house in Manila. Maybe the people who live here are extremely rich then.

I looked at the door when it suddenly opened. A man entered, I was so stunned, I remember he's the man who talked to me in the Go-See that happened a week ago. I forgot his name. But I know for a fact that he's connected with Maxrill.

Questions filled my confused mind. How did I even get here? Is he the one who brings me to this place? Then where are Maxrill and… Lianno?

"It's good that you're awake now" I heard him suddenly spoke that my thoughts suddenly vanished into thin air

"W-Where am I?" I immediately asked him, not caring what be said a while ago. I was a little bit nervous because I did not know where I was and if he had anything to do with what happened to me.

"You are in our house," he answered back.

I was stunned by what he said. What? His house? I thought that I'll be waking up in the hospital, but it's not."

A man in a Short-sleeved collared polo and jeans wearing a white coat on top. This looks like a doctor's clothes. Two women behind him entered the room also.

They bowed at the guy when they got closer to us. I got confused by their action. Is he a president or what? And what is his name again?

"Your Majesty, the doctor from the Salvador Medical Hospital is here" The two girls announced at us. They bowed again after saying those words, then they Immediately leave.

"Sir, let me tell you the condition of your beloved guest. She has been in a good condition already. She just needs rest to be able to regain the strength that she lost in her body,"

I was listening attentively to what the doctor is saying. He said that I was fine already. I smiled, this means that I can go back to my world soon. Maybe Raphael, Nana or even Uncle Rey is already worried about me right now.

"You can leave" the weird guy instructed.

The doctor bowed again before finally leaving. The man turned his head and look at me. I was nervous again because of the way he's staring.

"Can I come back to us?" I carefully asked him. Showing a smile to him

"You can't and also you need to rest" I was stunned by what he said. My smile vanished

"WHAT!!" I shouted out in shock. I can't stay in this place.

His brows furrowed as he stares at me. His eyes seemed to say that I did something bad. After seconds of staring at me, he suddenly leaves. He just left me here dumbfounded by his words.

Like what the heck? I can't stay here I know that. I'm not even familiar with this place. I need to go back to my apartment, knowing Danica is probably worried about me.

"Lady, Sir has ordered us to watch over you" I heard a loud voice and a sudden knocking outside the room

"Can we come in?" They politely asked me

"Ahm... Ok?" Unsure what to say.

I don't t know what to say when they entered. They were just standing on the side of the bed I was seated on.

I still can't stand because my head is aching and it's even hurting more especially because of my overthinking.

I didn't even realize I became asleep. I just felt that someone is gently tapping my right arm, which caused me to open my eyes. One lady welcomed my sight. The one holding a tray filled with a bunch of foods, while the other one was smiling on the back.

I'm sitting now while eating. My head doesn't hurt that much anymore. It seems that my sleeping helped to lessen the pain.

"What's your name?" I asked them when I remembered that I still don't know what their names are. I forgot to ask earlier when they entered.

"Lady, my name is Guineverre." The brown-haired girl introduced.

"Just call me Celestina. I'm not actually used to being called a lady "I said to them with a smile. They looked at each other, communicating with their eyes. I feel that they're kind and I'm somehow sure the three of us will get along.

"If that's what you want, Celestina," She said politely. I don't really like them being polite to me. But it seems that it is in their rule and maybe just a sign of respect, so I just let it go.

" Guineverre, what was the man's name earlier?" I asked her curiously.

Her friend left to return the tray filled with plates and utensils which I used earlier.

"Sir?" She also asked, slightly shocked at my question.

I nodded at her as a response.

"Ash is the name of him Lady" Oohhh! So his name is Ash. I smirked, now I know.

"Celestina, the chief doctor is here to look at you again" I looked up at Guineverre again. I just nodded again to say that it was ok for the doctor to come in.

She immediately went to the door and opened it. I saw an old doctor entering the room. He's not the same doctor before. He was carrying a black bag and a gold stethoscope was wrapped around his neck.

"Celestina, This is Doctor Jules by the way. The head physician of Salvador Medical Hospital" She introduced me.

"My name is Celestina, Doctor Jules." I also introduced myself when Guineverre finished speaking.

Doctor Jules told me a lot of things. Medicines that I should take, and things that I should not do. He also said that I could not go out now because  I need to rest for a couple of hours more due to the stress that I have experienced earlier. 

He also reminded me that I should not think of anything that can make me stress or else my case would be worse.

"Celestina, I'll just come back here tomorrow to check on you again. I hope you remember all my reminders" He said sternly to me.

"Goodbye, Doctor," I wave my hands a sign of goodbye to him.
