The Curse Of The Evil Queen

Celestina was saving all the strength left in her body. Disgusted was an underestimated word for her right now. She was tied up in a strong and hardwood. Her clothes were all wet. 

Every time she closed her eyes, a bucket of water would slap her face. She was still thankful that it's the only thing they have done to her so far. But she knows that they were planning to play with her later. To hurt her more. 

Her hands were tied up in the ceiling, it was an uncomfortable position for a woman who is still wearing a large gown. But a man wearing a black mask was just staring at her. 

I took a deep breath, I was still thankful that after all, I went through, I'm still strong. Closing her knuckles, they must beware that Lianno was unleashed and already is hunting them with all his being. 

The hound was out for his prey. The man watched Celestina from afar. "Poor woman looks like his little prince is having a hard time in finding her." He smirked, looking up and down at the already tired woman in front of him. 

"Lianno is funny did you know that? It's funny how he picked a low-class woman like you amongst the other," The guy laughed. A woman was in the back, watching every moves his father is doing. 

These monsters were not afraid to hurt those innocents as long as they'll get what they want. That's the reason why they still can't kill Celestina even though they already got her. They still need Lianno in their hands, and the only thing that can make that happen is the woman in front of them.

With the silence lingering around the place, the woman on the back finally walked by, towards Celestina's direction. 

"I-Isabela, what are you doing here?" Celestina's eyes widened. 

It was her friend, Isabela who was smirking in front of her. The kind and an angelic face that she usually was nowhere to be seen. It was replaced by a bratty girl. A girl wearing a bitch of a face who was smirking in her direction. 

The woman laughed like a witch and clapped her hand as if Celestina won Oscar's award. "Bravo! Yes! I am Isabela, the real Isabela." The woman said it proudly. 

The old man laughed in the background. Celestina was stunned by her words. She treated Isabela like a sister, but what is she doing here? How about Jea… What happened to her?

"Oh, and bitch, I really want to do this,"

Celestina let out a loud scream that anyone in the room would hear it. She couldn't believe it. Isabela just slapped her face, pulling her hair forcefully that can be felt through her scalp. 

The tears in her eyes were falling with the pain she felt, Emotionally and Physically. The pain she was feeling earlier doubled up. She was in pain already, while Isabela who was in front of her was smiling so widely. 

"W-Why are you doing this?" The tears on her eyes fell, saying those words. 

"Do you know why I am doing this?" She whispered gripping my shoulder tightly. 

The woman let go of her shoulder after a couple of seconds, leaving a bruised mark on it. The emotions that Celestina is feeling were making her head hurt. The water, her sweat and the tears on her eyes were making her lose strength. 

"I'm doing this for the love of my life! I'm doing this because you butch stole Lianno away from me! And you! You need to die and rot in hell! What happened in the past was part of our plan, but you suddenly appeared and ruined our plans!"  I do admit it, I was speechless after hearing what she said. 

"We want Lianno's wealth. We want his power and the bitch of you just had to take him away from me!" 

I don't have any interest in Lianno's wealth and power that's why I was frowning at these creatures. And I remember that day… the day when Isabela got taken. Is that all in a plan too?

"We still couldn't find Isabela…" His words sent dismayed in my soul. I sighed and nodded at him. I know that they have done their best up to this hour.

"What did they say?" I asked him, looking down on the floors, as I can feel the tears starting to pool in my eyes.

"There were no traces of Isabela making it hard for us to track her, and there were a lot of people that day, but we are trying our best to find her, so don't worry too much." Sighing deeply, he looked at me with worry in his eyes. 

I nodded, understanding the words he threw out. It must be hard for them, I realized.

"You should eat first, I'll come back later to give you updates." He leaned on my side and placed his lips on my forehead.

He stood up from sitting and looked back in my direction before taking a step and completely walking away, outside. Without any choice, I stood up from the bed and start eating the food that is placed well on the table. 

The door suddenly opened, causing me to stop eating. The loud creek caught my attention, and in there I saw Jea looking worse. Her big eye bags were bulging out that you will notice at first glance.

I smiled at her when our eyes met, but she just nodded and sat on the sofa straightly. I'm worried as she looks like she is not in the best shape today. With her messy hair and her crumpled clothes, she looks like a wreck.

She stared blankly at the window with no emotions on her face. I went in her direction with a glass of water in my hands, giving it to her. Without looking at me, she accepted it and drink all the liquid inside in just one gulp.

"Are you okay now?" I asked, patting her back. I know that it's hard for her since they've been together for more than 10 years already.

"Celestina, we can still see Isabela, right?" She looks at me with tears pooling in her eyes. And although negative thoughts are forming in my head, I still answered her positively.

"Of course," I smiled, and nodded.

"I was very scared…" She crumbles with fears reflecting in her eyes.

"You don't need to tell me if you still can't" I hushed her, as tears were now continually streaming down her face. She shakes her head as an answer and places both of her hands on mine, locking it.

"I and Isabela were talking to each other, with us sitting in different cubicles when she suddenly went silent. Until I heard a loud sound that made me get out of my cubicle quickly. And then I saw Isabela, getting carried by two men, unconsciously." Her cries went louder, having the difficulty in breathing.

"I'm so scared… so scared," She said those words repeatedly, shaking in fear.

My eyes water up seeing Jea in this state, hopeless and in fear. I hugged her so tight and hushed her down that I think worked as she calmed down after a few minutes.

I'm looking at Jea's face admiringly. She fell asleep after crying for about an hour now. I had to call Jacob so that he can give me some medicines for fever. Jea's temperature was bawling hot.

She looks calm and at peace while sleeping. Jacob on the other hand went to the kitchen to cook something for Jea. I covered her with my blanket and went directly to my dresser, finding the hairpin that Isabela gave me in the past.

I was looking blankly in the mirror until I notice that Jea sat on the bed making me went up out of panic.

"How are you feeling?" I asked her worriedly, placing my hand on her forehead to check her current temperature.

I got up from the seat and took the paper on the table, giving it to Jea who seems to have a bizarre feeling. Reading it made her eyes widened in shock, and in there she went pale that I got worried in an instant since she just got recovered from her high fever.

"I-Is this Isabela's blood?" Her shaking body and quivering eyes were enough proof for me that she's in fear and is scared. Yet, who wouldn't be? I'm scared as well for Isabela's security. But some emotions flickered in her eyes, that were unfamiliar to me. 

Notwithstanding the fact that I'm scared, I nodded at her question as an answer. And from that moment on, my tears fell down from my cheeks. Tears, one by one quickly came running down, in fear that someone important to me will be lost.

The fear that I'm concealing with those tall walls that I build quickly got revealed one at a time. And seeing Jea in tears, my heart went numb.. I tried to be strong for her because I know, she became disoriented when Isabela got taken away right in front of her eyes.
