The Deep Sea Wizard of Hogwarts

Chapter 134 Living Car

"Seven-stringed lyre?!" Old Guy said with some uncertainty. It wasn't that he didn't hear clearly what Linde said, but he just wanted to confirm.

No one practices this kind of piano anymore! To be honest, if anyone knows about this kind of piano, it would be a good one!

Linde nodded. After Old Guy confirmed it, he felt a little embarrassed, "Lyre, sir, to be honest. I have piano, harp, and even guzheng here. But lyre..."

Sure enough, there isn’t! Linde felt a little sorry.

"Lyre, I don't know if this will suit your needs."

"Oh, are there any?" The old man spoke in a nonchalant manner, not direct at all!

With that said, Old Guy called to Linde, "Please come with me! No one has bought this piano. I have put it in the back warehouse!"

Linde slowly followed him to the back, and after entering an old small wooden door, Linde came to the back warehouse that Old Guy mentioned.

Snap!

The gray and black tungsten bulb was turned on by Old Guy. It gave off a dim light, no different from Linde's lantern. It has obviously been used for a long time.

The warehouse is not big, in fact, it is about the same size as the sales area outside. Various pianos are piled here, the most conspicuous one is a grand piano in front, and there are several small electronic keyboards placed on top of the piano.

Then there is a harp on the side. It looks brand new. It must have been placed here not long ago. Unlike the piano, which is covered with thick dust.

Old Guy walked up to the piano on his feet, then squatted down and started turning under the piano.

Under the piano, there is also a pile of miscellaneous items packed in cardboard boxes of various sizes. There are some piano stands and many other various musical instrument accessories.

Old Guy dragged out a few more boxes from under the piano, bringing with them a thick layer of dust. It was obvious that what he was looking for had been there for a long time.

Finally, Old Guy took out a small suitcase from underneath. After dragging it out, he looked at Linde with a smile, "It's funny. Although it doesn't look good, I think there's nothing wrong with it!"

As he spoke, he patted the dust on the suitcase and opened it.

There is a sharp contrast between the inside of the box and the outside of the box. The black velvet lining supports a wooden lyre. The whole body of the box is made of wood and looks yellowish. Linde walked over and took a closer look. The copper strings were very clean.

It seems that the piano was well protected in the case.

Linde carefully picked it up and flicked it. The tone is bright and crisp, slightly different from the one Linde made himself.

But it works.

"It looks very good, how much does it cost?" Linde carefully put the piano back into the box.

"Just two hundred pounds! It has been here for a long time. This should not be the 'life' of an instrument!"

Two hundred pounds, a very cheap price, acceptable.

But after a while, Linde walked out with a brown leather suitcase in his left hand and a small black piano case in his right hand.

The next day, he boarded the Hogwarts train and arrived at Hogwarts in the evening.

Meanwhile, January arrives…

In the lounge, many young wizards were chatting happily about what happened during the Christmas vacation, and some were talking about all kinds of weird stories.

Andersen flew in from the window and rubbed the side of Lind's face affectionately.

Of course, this is an appearance. Both of them looked down upon the gesture of closeness. In fact, while rubbing his face, Andersen's mouth muttered in Lind's ear.

"The centaur said that the mandrake has matured. The survival rate is 60%, and there are sixteen plants in total. He has no mature preservation methods there, so you'd better pick it up tonight."

Linde touched Andersen's head and tapped his index finger on its head, indicating that he already knew.

Until late at night, Lind didn't move his buttocks. Harry and the others were still chattering there. Lind simply couldn't understand how they could talk so much.

Lind thought for a while and stood up. He couldn't wait to go to the Forbidden Forest to pick up the goods! As for Harry and the others, there is no need to be shy.

When passing by Harry and the others, he heard Harry exaggerating, "Really, Kerna said she saw it clearly, that was not the ghost of Hogwarts..."

Linde returned to the dormitory, rearranged the items in his pocket, and then went to the bathroom.

It was still the same old trick. If he wanted to go to the Forbidden Forest, he chose to fly there directly so that Dumbledore's "surveillance" couldn't catch him.

Linde now casts a levitation spell on himself, and together with Andersen, he can now fly freely. Instead of just gliding.

In the first half of the second grade, he also went to see Hagrid and occasionally chatted, but the frequency was very rare.

Flying directly to the Forbidden Forest, Linde came to the territory of the unicorns. He didn't set any code with Firenze, he just gave a rough time.

Not long after Linde landed, the sound of hooves stepping on fallen leaves and gravel could be heard behind him.

Linde's wand instantly fell from his sleeve, and his pupils became square, providing him with vision in the dark night.

There are not many artiodactyl creatures living in the Forbidden Forest, and there are even fewer magical creatures. There are only three types: unicorns, centaurs, and night qi.

But vigilance is a good habit.

While thinking about it, Linde saw a centaur walking into his line of sight. At the same time, the other person was also holding a bow and arrow, looking at Linde warily.

That guy is different from Firenze. He has red hair and beard, and a long red tail is dragging behind the horse below the waist.

"Are you here for our deal?" The centaur pointed his bow and arrow at Lind and asked cautiously.

This is the same as what Lind knows. Except for Firenze, other centaurs are naturally malicious towards humans.

In the future, after Firenze accepted Dumbledore's invitation to serve as a divination teacher, Firenze was exiled from the tribe.

But as a race protected by Dumbledore and Hogwarts, when Dumbledore needed it, only Firenze stood up, and the person who stood up to take responsibility was kicked out of the tribe.

Ridiculous!

Hogwarts doesn't owe them anything. Hogwarts was already there when they migrated here.

But that's Hogwarts's business, and it has nothing to do with Lind.

"Why not be more direct? You won't ask me questions like 'who are you trading with' and 'what are you trading for' to confirm my identity!

I'm here to find Firenze for the mandrake." Lind said these words directly and clearly.

Hearing his words, the centaur also put down the arrow in his hand.

"It's really interesting! This is not like what Firenze said, a shy little wizard!"

Lind smiled, "I am indeed a very shy person!"

The centaur smiled disdainfully, "He will be here soon, wait a minute! The mandrakes are all with Firenze." After knowing that Lind was not a threat, he put away his bow, then took out two arrows, rubbing and polishing the arrowheads against each other.

Lind patted Andersen and asked him to be alert to the surroundings. Then Andersen flew away.

Not long after, Andersen flew down and indicated that he saw Firenze had arrived.

About three or four seconds later, Lind heard the sound of hooves. Firenze walked out.

"Hey, Ronan." Firenze greeted the centaur first, then looked at Linde, "Hey, kid, how are you doing recently?" His attitude was completely different from that of the red-haired centaur, and he was more friendly.

"Not bad, I learn new things every day." Linde smiled, and he looked behind Firenze, who was carrying a backpack, and inside it was undoubtedly Mandrake.

"Did you bring anything for decoration?" Firenze took off the package on his back. "If not, just take this away."

Linde did not refuse, and thanked him.

"The survival rate could have been higher, but it's a pity!" Firenze said apologetically.

"What's wrong?"

"Recently, a new guy appeared in the forest, a new guy we have never seen before." Firenze said.

"New guy?" Linde was a little confused, and he didn't remember any special situation in the Forbidden Forest!

"Yes, they should be gregarious animals. Every time we find traces, there are many linear footprints, just like snakes..."

Snake? ! Basilisk? !

As Firenze spoke, Linde thought in his mind.

"And the sound they make is very loud, rumbling..."

Rumbling? !

Firenze is not talking about...

The car of Roan's family! It crushed my mandrake to death?

Linde was about to tell Firenze that it was just a car, but Ronan didn't want to talk any more, "Let's go, Firenze, it's late!"

Firenze nodded, then looked at Linde seriously, "If you don't have anything to do in the future, don't come to the woods. If you meet them, it may be dangerous."

After saying that, he and Ronan ran away without waiting for Linde to say anything else!

Linde wanted to tell the other party that the "they" he was talking about was a car.

But they might not understand what a 'car' is!

Thinking about it, Linde shook his head. He appreciated Firenze's kindness, but to be honest, he didn't think there was anything special about this car before, but now he is interested in it.

According to the original description, this car seems to have a temper. After carrying Ron and the others to Hogwarts, it threw Ron and Harry out along with their luggage, quit and ran into the Forbidden Forest.

As a result, it seems that this car has appeared in the following years. It has become accustomed to life in the Forbidden Forest.

That's the wonderful thing.

It is just a "car", but under Mr. Weasley's transformation, it has become a "living life". A car with life.

According to Firenze, this car still lives in the Forbidden Forest. No refueling, no car maintenance. It is still "alive".

This is interesting.

Does Hagrid's flying motorcycle have this ability?

If there is a chance in the future, I can catch this living car as a hobby and study it, Lind thought.

After that, he returned to Hogwarts and ran directly to the Room of Requirement.
