The Demon Child - Awakening

"Everyone, things have gone out of hand, start the assault! Off," I quickly thought.

The chimera didn't wait and bolted straight at me. Not seeing until the last second, I dodged, but still was hit hard in my left shoulder.

"Dammit, I need to end this quick," I thought.

Looking to where the Chimera was, I created two icicles in my right hand since my left shoulder was still healing. After I saw the Chimera, I started to create noise, giving the Chimera a target. After the Chimera saw me, it snarled and bolted towards me again.

I threw the two icicles aiming for the Chimeras head. Not noticing the projectiles, one of the icicles penetrated the Chimeras left eye. It backed away yelping in pain. Not waiting for a chance for it to recover, I created another icicle and ran towards the Chimera who was still in pain.

After dashing to its right side, I got close enough to stab the icicle to the Chimeras right eye. I used my tail to jump away from the Chimera. As the Chimera was struggling in even more pain, I took this chance to think about my plan. After ten seconds, I figured out my plan. I summoned my incarnate weapon, this time it appeared as a longsword with a dark blue handle.

I gripped my sword with two hands and ran at the now blind chimera, or that's what I thought. I was about to finish the Chimera, but it hit me with its tail. I heard a crack near my ribs, although I felt no pain. I looked at the Chimera and remembered what Gener said.

It was a Chimera of a dire wolf and a death snake, giving the Chimera both of their features. Snakes were able to sense objects that have heat with their tongues, meaning it could see me still. I moved back again, but the Chimera did not wait for me.

It charged at me at a faster speed, I tried to dodge, but I failed. My left hand was completely torn off. I kept jumping back, grasping my left arm and screaming due to the pain. I jumped onto a small tower and used my dark source to stop the bleeding, as well as my water source to cover it in a thin layer of ice.

After the pain subsided, I lay down my sword. I only had one shot at this, I had to use my complete sacrifice. I looked around my body to find some Chimera blood. I finally saw some on my upper left arm. I dabbed it off with my right hand and started to create a spell.

"May thy souls intertwine within what we called death, may thou feel what thy is thought, may thou lives become one with what we called a soul," I said.

Afterwards, my vision also subsided, all I could see was darkness. My blood sacrifice worked, I connected myself with the Chimera entirely. There was only one thing left to do, kill myself. If I am somehow revived, I would no longer be connected with the Chimera. I felt around for my sword until I found the blade. Moving my hand up and down, I finally found the hilt and picked it up.

I put the tip of my sword to my c.h.e.s.t and was ready to push it in, I was remembering what has happened. What freinds and the times had as Dyestral and Dynestar. With one final goodbye, I was ready.

I pierced my skin and my eyes were flooded with white. After I recovered from the sudden light, it seems like I was in another white room. It seems like this was the afterlife. I decided to see if anyone was there.

"Hello! Is anyone there?" I yelled out.

"Well, I'm here," A voice from behind me replied.

I turned around to see that there was a woman behind me. She had dark skin, pointy ears, white hair and lavender eyes.

"Are you death?" I asked the woman.

"No," The woman chuckled

"Am I alive?"

"It depends on how you look at it,"

"Where did you come from?"

"From Kirigaya,"

I was confused, how did she know about Kirigaya. I decided to ask a few more questions.

"Are you an elf?" I continued.

"No! I am a dark elf,"

"A dark elf?"

"It's when a demon and an elf have a child,"

"But that should be Impossible, how old are you?"

"Ten-thousand years,"

"Only when you were alive?"

"No, I was only three hundred and seventy-eight when I died during the four legion war,"

"Wow, you must've been very bored inside of me,"

"Not really, you're a very interesting boy, Dynestar,"

"I see before you said that you were born from a demon and an elf, how is that possible?"

"The five great races, Beasteal, Human, Demon, Dragonoids, and Spirits surprisingly can all have a child with each other,"

"But there wasn't anything in the textbooks I've read,"

"That's because everything was erased in ten-thousand years,"

"B-but that wouldn't make any sense, it doesn't,"

"It seems that Drundon and his Spirits meddled around again, but that wouldn't explain you, half-demon,"

"Do you have any ideas?"

"Not a clue,"

I was inevitably confused at that point, so I decided to ask her about some more questions.

"Why were you put inside of me?"

"Because of you being half-demon like me and the luck of the draw with Kirigaya,"

"Could you tell me how to become stronger?"

"No, you'll be getting a lot more information soon, and I can help you now,"

"How?"

"I'll share some of my memories with you,"

The dark elf snapped her fingers and my mind was flooded with new information. My legs lost their strength and I crumbled to the ground. I tried to vomit, but nothing would come out.

"To gain more power, you have to experience a tremendous about of pain, enough to make your hair go white, like mine," The elf continued.

"How can I?"

"You will have to experience a severe amount of pain, this will release your curse on your back, right now it's at its third stage when you died, you will have to be tortured to make it become a second stage, it will also spread to your entire body,"

"I don't care about looks, I'll just become stronger,"

"Understood, it looks like your regaining consciousness, it seems like this will be my final day, I'll now be able to move onto the afterlife,"

"Before you go, can I ask for your name?"

"It is Shinri, it means forest in an ancient language,"

"I see thank you Shiri,"

I blinked and I was transported from the white room to a musty dungeon. I took a look around to see that I was captured and was going to try and get information. Looking around, there were rusted torture materials. It seems like I would be getting stronger before I even knew it.
