The Demon King Seems to Conquer the World

Episode 247: Part Two of One in Galilee Yanin *

After returning the SS envoy, Fritz Ronnie, as part of his political manoeuvres, showed his face to the government and the adjacent city hall.

This is not the Galilee Union, but a government building with jurisdiction over a city called Galilee, divided by the Governor of Galilee.

Fritz is vice president of the Galilee coalition. This is determined by being nominated as President (Konsl), not by obtaining a seat after an election, etc.

The president (Konsul) assembles in Galileanin a single delegate from the United Cities (Union City) to vote and decide. Cities are large and small, so the weight of votes a city holds is different, but it is customary for Galilee Yanin politicians to be chosen unless there are so many masterpieces.

After all, Galileanin is an overwhelmingly large core city in the Union, so that is what has become a tradition.

Currently, Olarsem Hatran, an old man, concurrently presides over the Galilee Union with the Governor of Galilee Yanin. Separate politicians sometimes held the two positions, but it was more common to hold concurrent positions.

However, that would add too much workload, in which case the posts of Vice-President and Vice-President would assume the bulk of the practice and play an important role.

The Governor-General of Galileanin is currently in charge of the Vice-Governor named Belbio Hatran. He is Orasem's nephew.

From the standpoint, Fritz represents the entire Galilee coalition, so it can be said that he holds a high office compared to the Viceroy's.

Diplomacy as a nation is also within the remit of Fritz, so the Superior Squad man came to see Fritz.

However, since Governor Galileanin is not just a regional secretary, if a messenger came from the papal realm, it was a sacrificial art with no horns to report the contents of the transmission and share the information.

"I see. Isn't that what Gerrigim's been implicitly told to do?

Belbio said as he sat on the chair in the Governor's office in the City Hall.

Belbio Hatran is a lot older than Fritz. I am already fifty years old.

"No, you won't"

Belbio is supposed to be the current head of Hatran's main family.

This has a somewhat tricky history, and the old Orasem is not the head of the family.

Orasem had a brother, who inherited the main house better when he was younger.

The two were politician brothers, who at the time seemed to have a reputation for excellence in their brother, but whether it was an instrument late molding or, at the end of the day, Orasem made a lot of achievements as a more distinguished politician.

The housekeeper's disturbance is five or sixty years old, so Fritz just doesn't know the details of what happened back then either.

My brother died a long time ago, so he's not here anymore. Belbio, since he is the son of his brother, will be the authentic stream of the Hatran main house.

"Why?

"Why, what?

"How can you hang up if you don't mean it like that"

Fritz felt a little fed up.

"Because Lord Epitaph is not the one who gives such far-fetched instructions"

Fritz said the right thing to convince him.

Belbio Hatran is not an incompetent man, but there is something blunt about his sensibilities about politics.

Little by little, the sticking part was uneven, and experience showed that it was usually difficult to reason and convince them.

In the first place, political rush and military instruction are of different quality, the former may prefer far-fetched rhetoric, but the latter does not like it.

On the battlefield, would there be a field commander with ambiguous rhetoric that could take both assault and retreat?

If Epitaph Palazzo is telling us not to send reinforcements, that means not to send reinforcements, and we do not need to consider the opposite.

"This is an important issue. If you undermine the Pope's mood, reinforcements may not come"

That's what I think, so you don't have to worry. I want to say, Fritz swallowed it.

"It's okay. Definitely. If you're worried, the messenger won't be leaving yet, so you can go to the ship and ask."

"I'm sorry, but let me do that"

Ridiculous, but Belbio would really do that. After seeing painful eyes due to poor communication in the past, I became uncomfortable if I wasn't sure firsthand what bothered me.

"Now, what's the point of interrupting me, so I'll excuse myself for this"

and Fritz lifted his hips off the reception couch.

I'm just here to contact you on administrative matters in the first place, so I'm not even going to sit here long.

"Are you going to see me again today?

"Yeah, I'm gonna do that."

Say hello to Lord Orasem.

For him, Orasem hits his uncle, but he hardly comes to visit.

Fritz has a special circumstance and sunflowers, but it was just a chilling story to come to visit someone who hits his position boss only once or twice a year.

There are rumors that his father resented his brother, so there may be some influence from his father.

"Fritz, did you want it?"

In Orasem's living room, Margery Ronnie was here.

She is the wife of Fritz.

She was still wearing nuns (sisters) today. He hides his hair in abstinent black clothes with a black veil.

"Fritz. You're back"

Orasem looked at the fritz with a slightly surprised face.

"Yeah, I managed to get back. I'm sorry I'm out of time."

Symptoms began to appear in the form of oblivion by Fritz just before he left for the Fifteenth Crusade.

At that time, Orasem was still in government, and Fritz served as the Plenipotentiary Delegated Interests Representative of the Union.

It's a strange thing, and Orasem has the memory that Fritz went to war, but that's where the definitive memory ends.

After that, I remember, I don't recall, I exhibit various facets depending on the day.

Until not long ago, he suffered a great defeat at the Sibyak meeting, a perception that his life and death were unknown, but now he seems to have lost his memories before and after he was informed of the great defeat because of the progression of the symptoms and the loss of memories of those days.

In Orasem, Fritz is supposed to have left in service and returned from work.

I was surprised at the sudden return at first, but now I'm not so surprised that Fritz is coming to see me as I've accumulated remnants of my memory over and over again.

Memories vary from day to day, but I forget most things, so I can't do my affairs very well.

I forget what this morning's meal is about at night, and similarly, most of the time I forget the faces of the people I've been introduced to today when it comes to tomorrow.

The only person who could remember his face and name in a stable way was someone he had been socializing with since before he shuddered.

Still, until about a year ago, there were things like giving an overview from scratch and asking for judgment, but nowadays those judgment abilities were also significantly dull.

Formerly Orasem was a politician who decisively cut and abandoned the difficult issues most politicians avoid and who was loved by people for his resentful yet pleasant personality, but now has no shadow over it.

"Margery, tell Alter to hold the liquor. I got some good booze."

It is a wine called Chateau Rouge in the kingdom of Frussia. It's forty years old and very palatable.

When I got this and tried it, I wondered how strong the emotion was that I wanted to make Fritz drink it when he got back. Orasem has that memory, and I've recommended it every time Fritz comes here.

According to experts, Orasem's medical condition is common in the world, and everyday memories almost disappear, but only unpleasant memories remain strong.

So Fritz didn't once say no, even though he drank the same wine hundreds of times.

"Yes, then, I'll tell you"

Margery went out to tell her what to do when she said that and lowered her head with a stick.

Château Rouge drinks up a lot, but he doesn't throw away the bottle and packs it with wines that taste the same. You should bring that.

"... I'm sorry. Put on some clothes like that. Oh, my God, that Isis madness is not going to fix."

There was talk about Margery.

She is Orasem's daughter, but Fritz came to the Ronnies' house to daughter-in-law instead of going to her son-in-law.

The Ronnie family is just an intermediate official, no history, etc. Normally the opposite is true, Orasem at the time of his marriage had the idea that a family of non-Hatran politicians would stand and compete would lead to the development of Galileanin in the future.

But the prospect did not materialize.

"It's okay. Because I don't care."

"... how's life for a couple? Are you doing well?

"It's going well there. Don't worry."

It wasn't going well at all, but Fritz lied. There has been no sexual intercourse with Margery in the last few years. I wasn't even having a child.

Margery originally had a clean personality about sexuality, but when she indulged in the doctrine of Isis after marriage, it escalated.

When we had sexual intercourse, we began to behave like maidens fighting rape, and nature and the couple's business were gone.

If this was before marriage, I would have entered a women's convent and become a nun (Sister), but not after marriage either.

It doesn't mean that women's monasteries can't be allowed in unless they're pure, but it's not something you can get into while you're in a marital relationship with a man.

If we were to go in, we needed to at least have a divorce.

If we divorce, we will break the vows of marriage we made in the church. Going to break a divine oath from myself to enter a monastery is a falling story.

I can't divorce Margery, and faith is an inner matter, so it would be strange to ask Fritz to divorce me.

Sometimes I wondered if she wanted to be a nun (Sister) with both her name and divorce because of that reasoning, but such a story never came out of Margery.

"What happened to the division of Siyalta?

"Yeah, luckily, we got Filuche and Neuteras and eight other cities in exchange"

This was a lie, of course. To an appropriate extent, which is not unnatural, it has decided to secure colonial cities which it considers to be sufficient achievements.

It's not good to say...... anyway, but Orasem is forgetting this conversation when it comes to tomorrow.

There was no point poking at the harsh reality facing the Galilee coalition.

"Right, right. That's good enough."

"Come on for the report."

"No, you don't have to come to the report or anything. I left everything to you about the Union."

"... Yes. Let me serve you well."

"Mm-hmm. You're the politician that Non grew up with by hand salt. I'm not worried about anything. Just don't imitate Non. As I've said many times, politicians are just like rats without their beliefs."

That was a cliché from when Orasem was healthy.

Don't imitate it because it was something your way was bad, it doesn't mean. Orasem says that the very existence of a politician without conviction, is boring.

Do a boring job, don't be a boring person. That was it.

"Right. I'm going to try it my own way."

"Um, that's good. That's what frizz is."

"Excuse me."

That's what I said and opened the door to was Alter, a deacon who had long served on Orasem's mansion.

I have a bottle of wine in my hand that I'm used to seeing.

"Oh, I'm here. I'm here. Here, have a drink."

A glass of poured wine is recommended, for example, as soon as possible.

Fritz leaned and swallowed it.

And even though I felt a little vain, I was going to say what I decided, as usual.

Fritz headed somewhere after he left Orasem's mansion.

On summer nights, it's already getting dark out there.

When I knocked on the door of the house without any weird philosophy, the door opened.

"Welcome back"

A warm woman's voice welcomes frizz.

"I'm home."

Having said that, it was Nosset Metrize's house that crossed the laying with some guilt.

Nossett was a woman I met when Fritz was twenty, working as a liaison for Orasem at the City Hall, and she was dating around that time.

At twenty-five, Fritz nodded without saying no when Fritz, headlined by Orasem, came out talking about his political marriage to Margery.

That's when we broke up, but when the couple relationship with Margery got cold, we started seeing each other again.

In short, he was an adulterer.

"How was your day?

"Well, it's been a rough day. Tired."

"... So, we're staying?

"No, I'm sorry, but I'm going back"

I decided to stay up to two days a week, so today was the day to go home.

Even though I'm tired, it doesn't mean I'm so tired that a troublesome project jumped in and rubbed my mind, and I really can't help it.

"Well, I'll have to work for you with more food than I put on my arm."

Try to at least encourage Fritz, Nossett said to cheer him up. I'm glad to hear that concern.

Fritz took off his shoes and headed to the living room.

"What kind of food are we having today?

"It's my usual pasta and salad."

"That's what I like."

With that said, Nossett smiled nicely with pleasure.

Not flattery, but for Fritz, who grew up in a half-common house, that was the best part.

As a flourishing politician, Fritz has a house large enough for the first class of Galilee Yanin, but life there is hardly tame to his body.

It's more cozy to have a house within reach of every corner with a few families than a house where you can't keep a few servants without hiring them.

I guess that wouldn't happen if I were a born politician like Orasem, but Fritz, in the end, couldn't be.

Okay, I'll make it.

Nossett tightened the apron and began to move in the kitchen.

Sitting on the couch, watching slowly Nosset cooking, I felt filled, like warm water flooding the cracked sand.

I feel like I'm back at my place of residence.

"Auntie?

My daughter, who was obsessed with the picture book, approached me with her face up from the book.

She was Fritz's only child and named her Musset.

"Welcome back."

When you smile, the missing teeth of your baby teeth appear.

"I'm home. Were you reading a picture book?

"That's enough. Read the Hippocampus."

So I brought out a book for children from the bottom step of the bookshelf.

"Fine. Where'd it come from?

"I don't know"

You don't know, I can't read it.

"From where Ehrlich is going to listen to the wizard."

I guess he was listening in the kitchen. Nossett called out.

This is a famous story, so if that's all you say, I know which scene. It would be a little before the middle.

Opening the page every two fifths of the book, looking a little from there, there was a scene of purpose.

"Erich said, getting a green pill,"

"Not there. More ahead."

"Is that where the red pills are?

"Yes, where the cancer can be"

"When Erich put the red medicine he got from the wizard on his sword, the sword burned up once in a while again. Now you can defeat the dragon."

……………

As Fritz began his readings, Mussett began to focus on the story, shutting up as soon as possible.

"It was you!

Mussett greeted her after dinner in large measure.

"Eggplant, you're so great to be eaten"

Nossett praised him. Today's pasta contained a simmering of heavily chopped eggplant.

It's great to have been eaten even though I'm reluctant.

"Yeah."

"It was delicious. Welcome."

The resting home cooking was truly delicious.

Dining at home can be really cold (nagging) because Margery only eats thin salty bread and vegetable-only soup from faith issues.

Compared to this, this meal, which was eaten by three members of the family, felt extravagant.

Now, I think I can work on it tomorrow.

"It was probably a snail"

Nossett looks happy.

Seeing Nossett smile really gives me a break. I'd say there's a lot of stupidity, but when you're tired, you swallow it. I was delighted with the care.

Lowering the dirty plate, Nossett began to brew tea with the water that was boiling on the leftover fire. After a while, I put the tea in a large mug and put it on the table.

"... if you drink this, you have to go home"

Fritz said potpourri.

"What, are you leaving?

An honest musset exposed dissatisfaction. To be told this by my daughter, though sad, runs out of paternal profit.

"No. Because your father is your job."

"Sorry."

With that said, Fritz stroked her daughter's head.

Instead of work, I'm going home because I'm ashamed of my daughter, but I didn't want my daughter to know that.

If you go home, you'll be praying in the prayer room Margery set up at home.

A little depressed, Fritz drank his tea to spare.
