Ji Shizhen watched him storm away, as he personally saw that the order for a CT scan was placed for the demon lord.

\"I want you to wheel him to radiology for a CT scan. Let me when the result comes in, you can either page me or use the PA whichever works for me.\"

The young doctor spoke to a nurse at the unit, who then questioned his instruction.

\"Dr. Ji, didn't someone from radiology come with a portable x-ray?! Then why do you need a CT scan? Are you sure he is going to pay for the test you're ordering for him?\"

Ji Shizhen was rankled by the statement of the nurse; it was as if there was none that took his side when it came to the man that he was assisting.
