'According to the map madam Emily gave me , Laston city should be 20 miles from Akaby. I guess that I'll get there next morning if i keep traveling without taking a break ' he said inwardly.

In another place , A goddess looking girl with grayish eyes and a long black hair that almost reached her legs was standing in a square modern arena .she was only 16 years old yet

the girl had a cold look in her eyes that seemed as if nothing in the world could pique her interest .

On the opposite side of the arena , A brown haired guy with a muscular body and sharp eyebrows was facing her . He seemed to be 20 years old but the aura he was emitting was enough to tell that he was a scary monster.

The arena's floor was white while the surrounding area where a big audience was seated was black .

The crowd mostly consisted of people wearing students uniforms with some other people with casual clothes . It was obvious that they came here to witness the battle between the two young adults.

Amongst the audience, there was a group of 3 students , 2 girls and one boy .

The boy who seemed to be the strongest in the group had a short red hair while the girl on his right had the exact same hair color .They were both Eric and his sister Grace. The third one of the group was a girl with long green hair and long eyelashes . she had a calm expression on her face as she watched the girl on the arena. She was Samantha

They were wearing a black uniform same with Maya's. It was obvious that they all belonged to the same academy.

"Eric who do you think is gonna win this fight ?" Grace asked .

"Do I really need to say it myself?" Eric said with a smile .

" Hehe you are no fun" Grace said while giggling .

"That trash dares to act carelessly in front of the only light summoner in the whole Empire , I can't wait to see his expression when he loses his rank" Samantha said .

On the arena Maya stood elegantly waiting for the fight to begin .

A middle aged man came to the arena , he glanced at the two participants before saying in a solemn voice" this is an official challenge for the 95 rank under the sky realm , if both of the participants are ready, The fight will begin after the 5 seconds countdown starts"

Both Maya and the other guy nodded in agreement before a robotic countdown voice sounded in the arena .

The virtual space arena ranks was divided to many categories and one of them was the rank for those under the sky realm .

This rank allowed all cultivators under the sky realm to compete against each other for the first place , Obtaining a great fortunes of money , resources and even high grades

weapons.

Weapons varied in quality so they were divided into 9 levels with 9 being the strongest.

Graded weapons weren't cheap at all as they consumed a lot of effort and resources to be made ,plus the destructive power they carried wasn't something any one could wield. That's why they were very expensive.

"Finally I can't wait to make you my woman " said the muscular guy whose name was Frank. He made a bet with Maya that if he lost he would give her his sword which was rank 4 and if she lost she would become his woman

He dashed at Maya with great speed and conjured some spears made of rocks and shot them at her

Maya was standing there looking at him with a condescending look .

Whoosh !!

The spears became 5 inches away from Maya , before a barrier of light appeared in front of her and melting all the rock spears that were aimed at her.

WOOOOW!!!

The audience were shocked to see Maya at the 1st stage of the earth realm blocking the attack of a 2nd stage earth realm cultivator with ease.

The gap between each sub realm was not something trivial as the higher the realm the the stronger the sub realms were . So her doing that was a bit surprising.

With a nonchalant expression on her face , Maya dashed towards Frank and in the blink of an eye she was right behind him.

"Fuck!!"

Frank didn't see her location due to her speed but he could sense an ominous feeling from behind him . Before he could even turn his face

a strong ray of light shot from Maya's hand .

Slash!!!

Plop!!!

The head that once belonged to Frank , was now rolling on the arena .

It was such a scary sight as Maya severed Frank's head before he could even comprehend what happened to him .

The most of the audience soaked in cold sweat seeing Maya's beautiful appearance next to the headless body .

"Poor Frank, he didn't even get the chance to use his precious sword " said Eric sarcastically.

Grace and Samantha were also smiling seeing that

brrring!!!

An alarm robotic voice came indicating the end of the fight .

The big hovering transparent screen appeared in the middle of the arena replacing Maya's name instead of Frank in the 95 rank row.

Another group was watching Maya's performance from the audience seats .

The Group consisted of 4 people clad in black too which showed that they belonged to the same academy as well

" That bitch is so strong, we can't let her surpass us anymore or our position in the family will drop to the rock bottom"

A beautiful woman with pink hair said while gritting on her nails . She was one of the 9 families of Gavaria .Her name is Betty Belmont. She was from the Belmont family which was obviously competing for power with the Raven family and other 7 families which became only 6 after the crisis of annihilating one of the 9 great families 5 years ago .

In the arena, Maya was walking out of the ring .. On her way out she got closer to Frank's body " Trash will always be trash " she said with a cold gaze before she left.
