The Demon Shadow

Shadow came out of the visual field and found that Mia has already left the room.

'I'm going to the cafeteria to have breakfast' she had left him a note of her whereabouts.

" well I'm hungry too , so i think it should be a good idea to follow her" he said before leaving the room .

Mia came to the cafeteria to see a big spacious hall with hundreds of tables and seats that were already occupied by students.

The students were laughing and chatting with their friends while some of them were even fighting over some stupid reasons.

Mia didn't bother stare at them for long before walking to the cafeteria's food service .

'The menu is quite alluring ' she said after noticing the variety of dishes that were being displayed on the counters.

" give me this one and this and this one also" she kept telling the cafeteria cook to give her multiple dishes that varied from salad , sandwiches, soup and some deserts.

"Humm young miss I don't think this is healthy for your body " the cook said to Mia after witnessing the pile of food that accumulated in the tray.

"Just give me the damn food " she took the tray from his hand like a mother trying to protect her kids .. well that's awful since she was going to eat them anyway

"Huh y-yeah ..S-sorry for disturbing you " the cook said while smiling wryly after seeing her vicious reaction.

Mia went and sat on one of the empty tables and started eating her breakfast.

The moment Mia took a step inside the cafeteria, many eyes were started chasing her for multiple reasons. Most of the disciples who were looking at her were just lusting over her beauty while the others were checking her out before approaching her to convince her join their factions .

A minute went by after Mia started eating her food . A relatively good looking guy who seemed to be in his early twenties came in front of Mia's table

" hello miss Mia, my name is Ralph and I'm a member of the wind blowing pavilion. I watched your performance yesterday and to be honest i was impressed not just me but everyone present there . You were truly amazing. My wind blowing pavilion is one of the strongest factions in the Laston city and when I informed the higher-ups of your excellent performance, they assigned me to invite you to our pavilion and give you a free pass to join us so what do you think about this generous offer?" He finished all that in one breath and was gasping for air while waiting for Mia's answer.

"Does the cafeteria serve these sandwiches everyday?" With utmost negligence , Mia asked Ralph about the sandwiches after she felt they were really delicious.

People who were paying close attention to their conversation burst out laughing seeing the arrogant Ralph being ignored after all of his efforts.

"Huh? Are you looking down on me just because you are an S-rank ??" He voiced out with anger after being ignored in an embarrassment way.

"What the fuck are you talking about? Shoo shoo don't shout near me .you're disturbing my breakfast time" she said while waving her hand at him and looking at her food , totally ignoring him .

"I'm gonna teach you how to respect your seniors " he said before raising his hand to slap her face . Even though she was an S-rank talent, he thought that she's still yet to reach his cultivation level which was in the 9th stage of the spirit realm

Mia leisurely waved her hand and Ralph's right hand which was raised to slap her exploded.

Blood , flesh and bones everything was splashed on the floor .

Ralph lost his hand just like that . " aaaaaawwhhh" he screamed while tears fell from his eyes .

If it weren't seen by their own eyes , people wouldn't believe the viciousness of this delicate girl .Such occurrences weren't uncommon in the academy as this world was ruled by the strong so some bullying was acceptable after all Ralph could restore his missing hand if he used a high healing potion. Unless a student kill some other student, the school would be neutral or in this case biased to the strong.

" you made me lose my appetite " Mia said with a dejected tone

People were dumbfounded by Mia . not because of her strange power but because of her statement . She said she's lost her appetite while literally all the dishes in her tray were as clean as new .

Ralph quickly took out a pill from his storage ring before throwing it in his mouth to stop the bleeding.

He didn't dare stay there any longer after witnessing the monstrous prowess Mia possessed.

"What a loser , i would've dug my head in the ground if i were you" an 18 years old male said . He was Eric , accompanied by a red haired female who looked just like him. She was his sister Grace.

Ralph didn't mind his words as he left the scene immediately.

"Hello , can we sit here ?" Grace asked Mia politely.

Mia shrugged her shoulders indicating that she didn't care . Both Grace and Eric proceeded to sit on the same table with Mia .

"Have you eaten yet? " Grace asked her .

" No , i was about to eat but that nuisance changed my mind. Now that he's gone . I'm starting to get hungry again " she said

Grace didn't know that Mia has just finished her breakfast as she wasn't here a couple minutes ago . It still looked weird for her to see a tray with clean dishes in front of Mia , but she thought that Ralph must've interrupted her before she was going to fill her dishes.

"Let's eat together then , come with me" Grace said with enthusiasm as she held Mia's hand and dragged her to where the food was served .

Mia didn't think much of Grace's behavior and just followed after her or rather dragged by her.

After a while the three of them were eating their breakfast when Grace suddenly started waving her hand to the two girls that just entered the cafeteria.

" Maya ,Samantha we are here "

Two beautiful looking girls came to their table . Samantha who was sporting a green wavy hair while the other one Maya who sported a silky black hair .

'Humm?' Maya looked at Mia and noticed that she must be the other S-rank cultivator who everybody was talking about. It wasn't hard for her to guess Mia's identity after all, her unique appearance matched the description perfectly.

"Hello I'm Samantha , you must be Mia our academy's new rising star " Samantha said with a smile on her face while taking a seat at their table .

Maya followed her and sat next to her before introducing herself

"I'm Maya , nice to meet you " she said with a light smile.

"I'm Mia " Mia said calmly.

"So Mia who are you?"Samantha asked but before Mia could reply to her ,a huge commotion was taking place at the food service location which caught everyone's attention.
