Thus, everybody split up and ran faster than they ever had before.

Su Luo bolted ahead, and as she looked back… ‘Oh, dear. This really is bad luck.’

If anyone else was chasing Su Luo, she would be confident in dealing with them. But the one chasing her now was the Thorn captain!

Was it just bad luck, or did the Thorn captain have particularly sharp eyes that could recognize me in a moment?

When the Thorn captain saw Su Luo turn her head to glance at him, he immediately deduced: “Wench, you must be the real Su Luo!”

If she were a fake, how could she be so lifelike?

Su Luo looked back again and made a face, “So what if I’m the real Su Luo? Can you keep up?”

“Haha!” The Thorn captain sped up and arrived right behind Su Luo in the mere blink of an eye.

Just by reaching out his arm, he could almost catch her!

But at this moment…

“Su Luo” really was caught!

But another “Su Luo” sprung into view and frantically sprinted away for her life!

The Thorn captain looked at the “Su Luo” in his hands. She must have been a clone that meant to stall for time. Without a second thought, he threw her to the side in frustration and then pursued the other Su Luo like he was flying.

Damn wench! Who knows how she did it. And to think she could still divide into more bodies.

Su Luo was smashed against the wall. The impact made her see stars, her vision blurred, and a small bump appeared on her forehead.

“Ss—!” Su Luo sucked in a cold breath

as she touched the red swell.

The Thorn captain was seriously strong. It hurt so much that I was going numb.

Su Luo placed her hand on the wall, stood up shakily, and faced the Thorn captain, who was a small black dot in the distance. A triumphant smile split her face.

“Idiot! Ever heard of reverse psychology?” Su Luo put her hands on her hips, complacently rubbing the base of her nose. “When the real is fake, the fake is real. When the fake is real, the real is fake. Real and fake, fake and real, I’ll let you have your fill of it.”

Su Luo had indeed originally planned to let the Thorn captain catch her double, and buy time for her actual self to escape.

But just as she was about to get caught, Su Luo had a flash of inspiration. She’d thought of a plan to do the unexpected.

The Thorn captain wasn’t stupid, but people often had a lapse in judgment and acted according to their instincts and past experiences when pressed for time.

Under those circumstances, there wouldn’t have been enough time for him to think things through.

Since Su Luo had recognized this, she took the risk of letting herself get captured by the Thorn captain, and as a result-

She luckily escaped a disaster.

The Thorn captain was long gone chasing the clone, and Su Luo headed off in the opposite direction!

But just as she turned a street corner, she came face to face with Chu Yang!

‘Dang it!’

Su Luo silently cursed. She clearly didn’t check her fortunes before she went out today. Just as she shook off the Thorn captain, she immediately ran into Chu Yang.

When Chu Yang saw Su Luo, he paused. Then, seeing her turn tail and flee, he immediately gave chase.

Being tailed by Chu Yang, Su Luo could only return to where she lost the Thorn captain.
