The Demon's Angelic Love

Lyla's scream could be heard again, and Michy flinched in surprise. When he looked up to see the producer again, he could see the producer rubbing her temple in frustration.

Indeed, her friendly image couldn't be seen any longer.

"You don't know what you are doing, do you?" Lyla questioned the male idol again. "I can't feel that you're reminiscing a good memory here, Michy. You were supposed to feel warm in your heart when you were reminiscing the memory of the first meet, but your heart is so cold when you were singing that part."

Lyla was an easygoing character outside the recording, but after they started the recording, she turned into a strict and perfectionist character. Michy didn't know the female producer before, so he was quite surprised by the sudden change of the producer.

"Not only that, but your singing was out of tune as well. I know that it's the first time you record a ballad song, but you're not tune-deaf, right? Why did I only hear chaos when you were singing the song?"

Lyla suddenly sounded harsh, and Michy looked surprised by it. Not only Michy was startled, but the other people in the studio were shocked too.

The female producer was indeed a newbie, but Michy couldn't be said as a senior in the entertainment industry. Thus, the girl dared to insult the idol's singing.

The atmosphere inside the recording studio was quite tense even if Michy didn't act arrogantly by refuting, but Willem still looked panicked.

Not wanting to see more dispute, he decided to approach the female producer and asked, "How about we start recording Carmen's part first? Maybe Michy needs a break to clear his mind. He's a good singer, but I think he has something on his mind today."

The boss of Seventius glanced at the male idol, and the said idol could only duck his head in embarrassment. He felt bad because he had embarrassed his uncle. His uncle was trying hard to clear his reputation, but he couldn't even sing well.

Lyla seemed to be contemplating the suggestion, but then she sighed before nodding her head. "Alright," she made a decision. "Michy can have a break now, and we will try to continue the recording with CM."

Michy felt guilty again. He should have finished the recording perfectly, but now CM needed to record sooner than the plan.

Michy was blaming himself, but he didn't protest as he took off the headphone and started walking toward the door. Opening the door, he then walked towards the people in the room with his head hanging low.

"I'm sorry," he whispered with a tone full of guilt.

Lyla sighed but didn't say anything, and Willem decided to step forward and pat his nephew's shoulder. "Just go outside to get some fresh air, Michy. I believe you will do better later."

Raising his head, Michy could see his uncle smiling at him. Even after he embarrassed his uncle, his uncle wasn't angry at him.

Instead, his uncle still put faith in him and even encouraged him sincerely. That made him feel guilty even more.

However, he decided to comply with his uncle's order as he nodded his head. He could see CM was already inside the recording area, and he also saw how the girl grinning at him. He knew that his cousin was trying to tell him that everything would be alright.

CM was annoying sometimes, but she was still a good cousin to him. Therefore, he decided to return the smile to give his cousin moral support.

CM looked surprised when she saw the smile, but Michy chose to ignore the reaction.

Not wanting to be a bother in the room, the silver-haired idol immediately turned around and walked over to the door.

They were currently recording in the Seventius building, and he knew by heart where he should go to get some fresh air now.

Heading to the elevator, he then pressed his forefinger to go upward. Not long after, the elevator door was opened, and he stepped inside the elevator.

Once again, he used his forefinger to press the button at the side of the elevator door. He would go to the highest floor in the building, and he just remained quiet as the object started moving upward.

After a while, the elevator stopped moving before the door was opened. Not wanting to waste his precious time, Michy immediately stepped past the door and headed to the stairs. He had to use the stairs to reach the highest floor of the building.

There was a door when he reached the top of the stairs, and after opening it, his face was grazed by the wind that blew quite strongly. Seventius building was so tall, so the wind on the rooftop was strong.

Closing the door once again, Michy then walked towards the edge of the rooftop. There was a cemented barrier on the edge of the rooftop, so it would be safe for him even if he was in a dangerous area.

Looking down at the area below him, he could see many vehicles that looked so small in his eyes. The building of Seventius was indeed so tall, and if he was afraid of height, he wouldn't be able to stay in that position.

"Do you want to kill yourself just because you failed to sing well?"

He almost jumped in surprise when he heard a voice on the empty rooftop. He was sure that no one was there on the rooftop, so he was surprised when he heard another voice coming from behind him.

Turning his head to the direction of the voice, he could see Azren standing not so far from him. Azren's blonde locks were a little long, and the locks were dancing following the wind blow. It indeed looked like a golden curtain in his eyes.

Not wanting to admit that his assistant looked so handsome under the sun today, he turned his body around again and continued to look down at the busy street below. He didn't even want to answer Azren's question earlier.

Michy didn't even look at Azren when he was singing his part in the recording earlier. Instead, he continued staring at Elias, causing his mood to get tangled just like tangled strings.

'But, what should I look at him? I don't even have any relationship with him,' He thought without looking at the blonde assistant.

Not getting an answer from the idol, Azren decided to bring his long legs to get closer to the young idol. He only stopped after reaching the idol's side.

"This building is so tall. I feel like flying," Azren spoke again randomly.

The random outburst caused Michy to glance at the taller man. "I bet you never been on a plane before," he replied arrogantly.

Azren turned to Michy, and his emerald eyes blinked innocently. 'I indeed never been on a plane, but I've flown with my wings countless times,' he only dared to reply to the idol's arrogant statement, but he kept his lips into a thin line.

No one spoke after Michy mocked his assistant, but for some reason, the silence was not uncomfortable.

The silence was only broken by Michy's question, "Why did you follow me here?"

Michy sounded cold and distant, but Azren chose to stare at the idol with his warm gaze. "I'm afraid that you would do something dangerous, Michy. You looked so frustrated earlier."

Azren sounded so sincere, and Michy shifted his gaze away from the blonde again. He indeed looked pathetic, but not even once did he think about ending his life. He wasn't that hopeless.

"Stupid," the idol mocked coldly. "I've been fighting to save my career, so do you think I will just give up just because I couldn't sing well earlier?"

Azren got a scolding from Michy, and he was quite offended when Michy called him stupid. However, he could heave a sigh of relief because Michy was still a positive boy who wouldn't kill himself even if he had been having a hard time.

"That's good, Michy. But I have something to ask you," Azren spoke again, but Michy didn't turn to the taller man. "Why is it so difficult for you to reminisce the good memory of your first meeting with someone you loved?"

Azren's question sounded serious, and Michy finally turned to the taller man. "Do you think I've ever met someone I loved?"

Instead of answering his question, Michy chose to ask him a question. That question confused the blonde demon. "I know that it happened a long time ago, but it's impossible if you forget your first meeting with Elias, right?"

Azren didn't mean to be a busybody, but Michy's question forced him to ask that question.

However, Michy's reaction was quite unexpected. "Why did you suddenly bring up the topic about Elias? What do you think about my relationship with him? Do you think I was dating him in the past?"
