The destruction and creation system

The life law was an odd one since it worked in extremely subtle ways on whatever it was used on. an example of this is if someone used the life law to attack when you got hit you would not be able to tell. you would go on thinking that everything is fine and the attack was a dud but then you would suddenly start to age rapidly before dying all without knowing what had happened. the reason for this is that the life law affects lifeforce directly and can effectively rip it out of whatever it is used on. it was for this reason it was considered a universally accepted rule not to antagonize a life law user. there was a clan that did so at one point since the cultivator was only a nascent soul at the time and that single cultivator used the law on every member of the clan they came across. what they did was from a clan standpoint terrifying as they didn't kill the clan members but made them infertile so the entire clan could only watch their bloodline slowly fizzle out. needless to say there are some fates worse than death for cultivators and to watch your entire bloodline fade to nothing at the hands of a single person was one.

The fact that millea had this law confirmed nicks decision not to anger her for no good reason even if she was unlikely to use the law on him. one of the most interesting things that happened during this week was that the news that he was leaving the world had circulated. the source of this information was likely the welk clan members nick had rejected to take with him. the effect this information had in the cultivation community was like a grenade going off as most of them thought nick should at least leave behind a legacy since he was from this world. nick decided to use this to create an inside joke by leaving a message that even someone who had never watched anime in his previous life would recognize. "if you would seek my treasure you will find there in one piece." this brief message sent the world into a feeding frenzy as cultivator scrambled throughout the known world for traces of his legacy. this isn't to say nick didn't leave behind a legacy only that no one was likely to find it since he left it directly above the sea where the island he grew up on used to be.

At the end of the week nick brought his base into the normal world and sent up higher and higher until the "cap" of the world was the only thing stopping it. with one final fair well to the world below nick left the world with a single harsh push through the cap and into the void beyond.
