Tang Xi darts her eyes on his face and frowns "Kidnap?".

Lu Cheng looks her deeply "The first one".

She rolls her eyes "Forget it! You don't have to comfort me with your lies!" and tries to move.

Lu Cheng's eyes turned dark and grips her shoulders tight "Dare you run away while I am talking!".

She scoffs sarcastically "Seriously? Lu Cheng !We were strangers then! We just met a day before that kidnap! So stop lyin-".

Lu Cheng grunts "Can't you be quiet till I finish saying something!?".

She purses her lips and lets a deep breath.

Tell me all you have! This time I am not believing you so easily!

He loses the interest to confess and simply says "Sleep well. You must be tired".

Tang Xi "...." Damn! Did he just stopped telling me?

She looks at his closed eyes sullenly and tries to toss aside but in vain. She understood very well now that 'She could never leave from his grasp'. She closes her eyes helplessly.

At least I could sleep peacefully..instead of hearing his lies!

Lu Cheng waits for her to sleep and opens his eyes as soon as she slept.

"I realized that day..only you could be a great mother to my son" Lu Cheng's face turned complex 'If I didn't get my memory back that day... Our lives would have been different...at least we would have been together with Jing for some more time...'.

He pecks her forehead softly and sees her stomach "I don't want to be alone even having my own family..Can't you forgive me wifey..?".

Tang Xi who was in light sleep wakes up by his peck on forehead. As soon as she heard him, she sees his eyes which were looking at her stomach longingly.

She looks at his hand which had fisted tight before her stomach and frowns suspiciously 'Why is he doing that? He did that before too...does he really want this kid?'.

She blurts out of curiosity "Don't you want this kid?".

Lu Cheng startled hearing her sudden voice and frowns blankly "Why wouldn't I?"
