As she said the whole class gasped in shock. There were pictures of her with a child but since she was not present there no one was sure but the way she just accepted it easily, made them even more shocked!

Caspian looked at Lana and patted her hand under the desk and smiled at her courageous act!

Professor Aiden was equally shocked by her sudden exposure of her daughter.

"Fine! Write me a report about it thoroughly with the proof that your daughter was sick"

He said and looked into the text book and Lana sat back on her bench.

"Sis! Why are you here? The rumours are really bad here so you should not be here at a time like this?"

He said and handed his phone to her.

Lana peeked at a few photos and looked at them dumbfoundedly.

"Don't worry sweetie! Your sister is not that weak! As long as they don't drag Little Alex and Little Rain, I really don't care about them"

They both whisper to each other in a low voice.

"Hey! You two! If you want to talk then leave my class..."

Aiden caught them talking and scolded them.

The class ended after an hour.

"Sis! Let's go out.. I want to talk to you"

Casper held her hand and dragged her out of the class in front of everyone, even though Aiden was still there, preparing to leave.

Today, on the University student's forum, Videos after videos and Pictures after pictures were being posted and that was all related to Lana and 'Caspian'.

"Cassie.. What the hell are you up to?"

She was being dragged by him in a hurry and since he was so grown up that it was getting hard for Lana to catch up with him.

"Let's go sis. It's getting fiery these days. You shouldn't have come here today"

He took her away in front of hundreds of eyes watching him.

"I.. I just wanted to come here and take a break from this semester. I am not able to continue at the moment"

Casper's step halted midway and Lana collided in his back.

"You brat! Do you really want to kill me?" She caressed her head and then punched on his back "Look at you and your sturdy back. You are all grown up now and bullying your elder sister"

She acted as if she was really hurt which made Casper worried a little for her.

"Let me see.. Where are you hurt" He was alarmed instantly.

"I am not hurt at all but the way you are acting as if I was the one who really committed adultery!" She bowed her head down and her eyes teared up.

"No.. Please don't get me wrong sis!"

Casper never cared what people thought about him or what the opinion they had about him but whenever he heard them bad mouthing his sister.

The moment she had kept her step in the country, he had swore to himself that he would never let her down and keep her safe no matter what.

"If not then.. Are you ashamed that I am in the limelight due to all this? Is this why you are asking me to stay home?"

Lana came here full of confidence but the way he was behaving with her, really made her cry.

"No sis! No matter what you do, even if right or wrong.. I… I simply follow you and even worship you"

Casper said and held her hands in his "You are my everything. You are the most pure and kind person I have ever seen in this world! how could I even be ashamed of you?"

Lana's eyes were on their hands as a drop of tear fell on it.

"Sweetie! In this world nothing matters to me other than you! The moment you left me, I decided to be strong and keep you safe."

"Why do you think I am a university student at this young age already? It's all because I wanted to keep you safe and love you 

forever and give you all the happiness in this world"

Casper dragged her to the most quiet place but since a lot of students saw them they had followed them here too. Though they could not hear what they were talking about, by the looks of it, they looked very emotional.

Lana was stunned by his words. He said he worshipped her and that was not something small.

"Sis! I don't need the world to tell me who you are and what your real nature is! I know better than anyone else since I was the one being protected by you all these years. Whether it was the dark room or their beatings or saving me from the claws of death. You are my everything"

While saying all these words Casper went on his knees, still holding her hands and took it near to his face.

"Sis! The moment mom left us, she told me that from now on I have to protect you and keep you safe and you are not only my sister but also my father and mother… I… I really cried thinking how could a sister be a mother and father both but the way you have treated me the amount of love, warmth and protection you have given me is way more than any parents gave to their kids"

He said and left her hands instead hugs her waist tightly. At this moment he did not care about the rumours or anything. He just did not want his sister to misunderstand him. He had been craving her love and warmth for years but the moment she was back, he could not keep her safe and this was his biggest regret of his life.

"Sis! I really don't need mom and dad at all! As long as I have you in my life, I don't need anyone with me"

Lana's tears were already streaming out of her eyes and after hearing his heartfelt words she could not control herself anymore.

She caressed his head softly and then hugged him.

"Cassie! I am so sorry! I didn't mean to be mean to you. I was just not sure if you also take me as a bad person or not. I really don't care people's opinion about me but whatever you think about me, matter a lot"

She said and bent her head softly and kissed on his head softly.

The crowd present there was already in shock when they saw the most intelligent student was holding her hands in his and it was not enough when he kneeled down and hugged her like a child hugging her mother and begging her not to leave her alone.

Lana's action was even more shocking. The way she looked at him as if a mother was looking at her child and trying to coax him after scolding him.

These thoughts were not of a single person but everyone present there thought the same thing.

"Cassie! You are my only family and yes you are indeed like my own child, so what if there is only a few years age gap!"

"Look at you! You are so big and even bigger than me in height but yet you didn't learn how to tie your shoelace" She squatted down and helped him tie his shoelaces and he on the other hand put his hand on her head like he used to do in his childhood.

Lana felt guilty. Towards him, she was not attentive at all. Since she came back she had been busy with her own matters and completely neglected him.

Looking at him at the moment she found that even though he was a grown man now but he was still her same baby Cassie which he used to be years ago!
