The Devil's Sweetheart

Chapter 304 - She was lovely

The first gift Leena had given holds a special place in Devin's heart. He concealed the slight shift of despondent emotions in his eyes on that day because he knew Leena would get hurt. Now that Leena fixed it by investing her time and effort, his heart welled up with happiness. Furthermore, she added their picture, making it even adorable. ''When did you get this fixed?''

''The time you were in Norway,'' Replied Leena.

''It's lovely.'' He touched their picture through the crystal, a smile never left his place. ''You look adorable, Sweetheart.''

''And, you look Dishy, Devin.'' Sheepishly, Leena replied, looking into his hypnotizing hazel eyes. Just looking into Devin's eyes, her heart starts racing, and Leena sees herself falling in love with him more and more. ''I envy you for having Hazel eyes. Poets are biased; they talk about every color except brown and amber.'' Leena was as sullen as five years old when she spoke. It's not that she hates her eyes, infact she loves them, but in time, Leena developed a secret crush on Devin's eyes.

Narcissist Leena is jealous of my eyes? Devin chuckled and cupped her face. ''Listen to me, Leena. You have eyes of amber, a tint of gold that represents the soil. They hold the riches the world has ever seen that can bring world destruction. Your eyes are anything but ordinary. Poets don't know to describe brown eyes, so they go for everything except yours.''

Leena blinked her eyes to process Devin's flowery words. He sure has a knack for poetry. ''Devin!'' Leena called him with utmost dramatic affection.

''Y_es darling.'' Devin hesitantly replied. Is she going to start?

''If kisses were raindrops... I will send you showers. If hugs were seconds, I would send you hours. If smiles were_''

''STOP IT, LEENA!''

''Why?'' She tilted her head innocently.

''Raindrops and showers? Is that even called a poem? Do you want to kill me with your funny poems?'' Devin guessed it right. But looking at her grimace expression, Devin understood he had slipped his tongue in the heat of the moment. He quickly pulled her into his embrace to coax her. ''Leena...I didnot mean it. Your poems are too good, Sweetheart. So, what I am trying to say is_''

''I know what you meant!'' Leena sternly said and freed herself from his arms. She was about to get up, but Devin pulled her again. ''Are you angry?'' He kissed her forehead, and Leena responded with an affirmative nod.

''Let me cool your anger then,'' Devin muttered, peppering her face with butterfly kisses before nipping her lower lip, earning a soft m.o.a.n from her. ''Are you still?'' His breath fanned over her face, tickling her senses passionately. Leena was in no state to answer. ''You are not angry, right?'' He whispered, scrapping her soft lobe in between his teeth, causing her to clutch his shirt tightly.

''Tell me.'' He asked, pushing Leena onto the bed.

Leena swung her head with her eyes closed. She was completely under his spell.

''Answer me with your mouth.'' His commanding tone muffled into her ears as he squeezed her b.r.e.a.s.ts gently while his lips lingered at the dip of her neck, doing ministrations of signing his autograph.

''Y_es.'' The moment Leena's words traveled from her mouth, Devin pulled back and gazed into her eyes innocently. ''See, you have agreed that you are not angry.''

Leena: '' ''

Leena pursed her lips in fit. She wished to bury her face in a hole for letting Devin play with her. ''H_ow can you sed_''

Leena closed her mouth shut, embarrassed to speak loudly when she noticed a smirk on his face. Can I slice that from his face?

''I am going down.'' Leena let out angrily. ''You are bullying me. I am going to complain to my father-in-law.''

''What will you tell him?'' Devin asked as he slid his hand into her dress, feeling her soft skin. A red flag was raised in Leena's head, and she stopped his hand from further moving.

''Leena, it's been a long time.'' Devin was craving to taste her and hear all her little m.o.a.ns of p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e.

''Doctor suggested no tiring activities for three weeks, and we have to stick to the regime.'' Leena sternly declared, leaving no room for discussions. It's not only Devin, even Leena wanted him badly, but his health is equally important.

''Stubborn little thing.'' He muttered, resting next to her.

''Of course, I am.'' She giggled. ''I forgot one more thing. Along with the picture, I have added something additional to your watch.''

''What is it?'' Devin turned to her side as he asked.

''A tracker and a microphone,'' Leena added. ''I have specially written the software, and with the help of a technician, I added the tiny device into the watch.'' Leena raised her bracelet and showed it to him. ''The key is in my bracelet. I can listen to your voice anytime, and I can track you any time with just a click.'' Leena winked before adding the last part. ''Even when you are in a meeting or the bathroom.''

A smile curved on his lips when he recalled calling Leena while he was in the bathroom. Bathroom sounds like a good idea. ''So, totally, you are spying on me.'' Devin completed for her.

''Yes.'' She said. ''I also wished to add an in-body GPS tracking device in your body. That would be a real deal.''

''Where did that come from? Planting a bug in the human body is bullshit used in movies.'' A microchip implanted inside the human body can transmit its data to an off-body interrogator only to a short distance. It cannot communicate with GPS satellites or other equivalent satellite-based positioning systems.

''Babylicious, I know. Keep in my that I am a notorious hacker.'' Leena watched many movies where a bug is placed in the human body to spy on people. She wondered if the directors are dumb or ignored that the in-human GPS tracking is only used to detect the tumors in the human body. She understood nobody could score a pass mark in front of her intellectual brain.

''Typical Narcissist,'' Devin muttered. ''Let's go down. Grandfather wants to talk with me.''

Leena nodded her head, and as they reached downstairs, she noticed not a single soul in the living room. ''Where did everyone go?''

''Let's check in the garden.'' Before Leena and Devin made a move, a voice appeared behind them. Leena swiftly turned around and saw it was Uncle Callison emerging out of the kitchen.

''Go, and talk with your Dad and Grandfather,'' Callison said as he looked at Devin.

While Leena was about to go along with Devin, Callison stopped her and asked to follow him.

Devin gestured to Leena to go along with him before he left. He knows his uncle and aunt remember his sister whenever they see Leena.

In the kitchen, Leena was awed with the way Callison expertly moved his hands, slathering tahini spread, before rolling up in veggies. No wonder he is a renowned chef. ''Woah! You are fantastic, Uncle Call. You know, I am a big fan of you.''

''I am glad you like it.'' He smiled at Leena and placed the Meditteranean pinwheels snack in front of her. Leena closed her eyes, savoring the delicious snack. ''It tastes Heaven.''

''My daughter also loves them. I used to make it for her when she comes home after school.'' Callison added bitterly.

''You have a daughter? Where is she?'' Leena exclaimed. She never heard this before, and even Devin used to evade the topic when she asks if Uncle Callison had children. ''Hoe does she look?''

''She was lovely.''

Leena giggled, but suddenly when she recalled his earlier statement, she snapped at him to know if he meant it. All she saw was his teary eyes.
