Ruyi was still immersed in her paperworks when she recalled her conversation with the private investigator she hired. She couldn't help but ask for him since the day the twins entered her life, calling her mommy and more.

Last week....

"Miss, I've failed you.... " the man said to Ruyi.

"Hmm... was it confidential? Encrypted file?" Ruyi was wondering what secrets are held on the children's background and why it was safely stored and unprocessed. She hired her best dark hacker and he was unable to get the files she needed. 'It seems the 'kids' are more than what I thought for' Ruyi was in thinking when her phone rang.

"Hello" Ruyi picked up the phone without looking at the caller. She immediately dismissed her subordinate.

-beep- The phone immediately cut off. When Ruyi saw the caller's number it was an unknown one. Ruyi tried to call back the number but wasn't able to reach her call. She thought it might be a disposable phone that someone used to track her, when the same number called back again.

"Hello" Ruyi became serious are she answered the unknown caller.

"Hello Ms. Chen" the caller replied. It was a deep voice, although she was skeptical, she continued the call.

"Who are you?" as a woman with a few words besides to those who are close to her, she replied in an alarmed tone.

"Who I am is none of your concern darling, do not search for trouble is what I'll advice you to do" After saying these words, the man ended the call.

"Hmm... " Ruyi pondered what the man had warned her. She began looking through her memories as to why was she warned like that. One thought came to her mind.

"The twins, huh?" Ruyi continued to think of her next step, when she took the files left by her subordinate and looked through it.

"Kwon Jue and Kwon Yue, who really are you?" Ruyi placed the files back and went back home.

Ruyi decided to contact her P.I. once more, and instead of looking into the twins, she decided to find the man who threatened her. Scared that her brother's life will be harmed, she dialed the number in her phone.

"Can you look into the number I gave you, who owns it or what his relation to the children?" Ruyi asked the man.

"Yes ma'am. Give me a few weeks to find it." the man replied.

Ruyi was feeling exhausted when a maid knocked on her door.

"Ma'am, the children have come" the maid respectfully said.

"Please tell the guards to let them in." Ruyi was used to the surprise visits of the children. She didn't expect them to do it tonight, knowing they will be with their father, but she still let them be. She needed her energy charger, and those kids are good at that job.

Ruyi went down to the entrance of the door when she stiffened at what she saw. Her uncle who just arrived is in conversation with the man accompanying the kids.

"Mommy!!" The children ran to her the moment they saw her. Ruyi welcomed them with open arms, while awkwardly avoiding the man next to her uncle.

"Uncle, you've come!" Ruyi simply ignored that there is another person with them and brought the kids and her uncle inside, while leaving the man alone.

"Aren't you gonna let him in?" Jackson was confused at his niece's attitude. He knew she was a bit cold, but after the kids came, she mellowed down and was quite pleasing to others. He went and brought the kids inside the living room while leaving Ruyi and the man.

"What are you doing here?" Ruyi raised her eyebrow. "Renji?"
