"Hmm, I'd say that was a smart move!"

Rose moved her head in understanding.​​

Everyone glared at her for agreeing with my stupid idea.

"Huh! Why are you all glaring at m-me, master Kai, save me." she whined.

"It's okay, Rose, they think we're stupid, but I'm happy that you agree with me."

"Master Kai by the way, how did you release the energy beam?" Rose asked me with an innocent face.

"Rose, I don't understand why everyone forgets 'I'M A DEVIL TOO! I am half devil and half serpent so when my serpent powers were absent the devil powers came out at their full potential, and that's why I was able to use the signature leviathan power "Cloning" to its best, but just because it was a clone the kick was not that powerful, got it?" I explained it to her In detail.

"Ahh, I've talked too much get me a glass of water anyone." I nagged.

Rose ran to the water dispenser as fast as possible to get a glass of water for me so she doesn't miss a single gossip.

"Hmm, it's all taking a shape now, but there's only one thing that's bothering me, I don't understand what was that pink liquid that brought you back to life from the doors of death!" Lee asked me in a serious manner.

"That was the third item that was meant to save my life, Lee! Sabir do you remember when we were with Killian and we faced few bandits, and I checked their bags, that's where I found my third item the "Elixer" of life!" I raised both arms in the air like a musician while explaining the whole thing.

"And when I was just minutes away from death, basilisk bit me in the right place where I kept the Elixer, resulting in the breaking of the bottle of the Elixer, I don't know how it burned basilisk but I know how it saved me." I took a whiff of relief after explaining every single detail to Skyler, Sabir, and Lee.

Everyone in the room was smiling at me because I was still alive after trying my ridiculous techniques in a deathmatch, but on the other hand, they were relieved as well to see me all lively.

"My master, may I tell you all something?" Rose spoke in a low and slow, stuttering tone.

"You want to tell something! What is it, Rose?" Skyler asked her in a soft tone so she does not get scared as she was shy and clumsy.

"Gossips are being circulated in the entire kingdom about lord Kai! That he is not just a regular devil, and that he's something more wicked, that he's the son of God of death!" She spoke with her fingers covering her face that prevented her from direct eye contact with anyone.

"Woah that's absurd, how do rumours spread so quickly?" Sabir exclaimed

"And that's not it. People have started to make stories about you, that you can kill a person just by speaking a word and some people are even saying they saw you do it with some bandits! But there aren't any rumours that'd defame you."

"Ohh yeah, there was something else they gave you a nickname too."

"A NICKNAME!" everyone in the room, including me yelled in Shock

"what's the nickname?"

"It's "DEAD DOOM" that means someone from whom even death fears!"

"Wowww! That's some cool nickname, I'd love if someone calls me that!" Today my craziness was touching the sky.

"Seems like someone is gone insane!!!" Skyler taunted me as he was happy after hearing about rumours of myself.

"I guess you should rest now Kai, I'll notify everyone that you've regained your consciousness." Lee looked at his watch and spoke in a serious tone

"Yeah, I guess the "Dead doom" shall take a rest now, haha." I cracked a boring joke and slipped into my blanket.

Sabir pulled his chair and got closer to me "Oii, Kai I want to ask you this one last thing."

"Ahh, alright what is it dumb Sabir!!!" I nagged with an irritated look on my face.

"Shut up don't call me dumb, so my question is how were you so chilled during the fight, weren't you scared?" Sabir was thinking low of himself as he was scared during the fight with the vampire and I saw it through his eyes.

"No, Sabir my buddy what you're thinking is wrong, I was being watched by the whole country so I was trying to look cool so nobody should think that I'm worthless on the other hand , I was scared shitless, I guess being scared is normal even the greatest warriors get scared!"

I answered his question in a way that comforted and made him feel a little less insecure.

"Now, everyone fuck off except Rose, and Rose bring me a cup of tea, I guess I'll have to rest for whole 6 months to get healed completely"

"Nah Kai you can't escape duties, the royal healer is on the way to heal you!! So it's just one or two more days for your rest".

"Something greater than this is waiting for you!" Lee alerted me before leaving through the door.
