The Duke's Adopted Daughter

Louise was quietly playing with the recording device that she got from Madam Garcy. She was sitting on her bed cross-leg while in front of her was the ice kid that she pulled out from Sylvy. His head was bowed and he was sitting on his knees. The previous arrogance that he had before was all gone.

"Now what should I do with you?"

The kid look at her with pitiful eyes seemingly asking her to be merciful.

"Don't look at me with that eyes that's not gonna work." she smirk.

The kid bowed his head again.

She stood up andwalk towards the kid and kneel before her so that they can have the same eye level.

"Do you want to get back to that Mage?" she asked.

The kid nodded but meekly answered. "I do. But that Mage was quite powerful. I can't bet that Mage."

"Of course, on your level that Mage is quite strong. I will make a deal with you. I'll help you eliminate that thing but in return you'll have to serve me for your lifetime."

The kid paused and was quite hesitant. He don't want to serve anybody. Though he was still a kid now, their clan was quite powerful if you compare them to other magical creatures out there. He has still his pride.

Louise raised her brow. "Go."

"Huh?" the kid was shocked.

"I'm telling you to go and return to your clan. If you don't want to serve me then I won't force you. Still I still need to deal with that Mage. Just think of it as your borrowing a sword to kill other." she waved her hand stood up and walk back to her bed.

She was about to return to her bed when she heard the kid call her.

"Are you strong?"

Louise sat down and stare at the kid then smiled.

"If you compare me to that Mage, the least that he/she can do was to capture you . As for me..I can eliminate your entire clan in an instant. Now do you think I'm strong?"

The kid shiver upon hearing it.

Night. One of the isolated area at the Green Kingdom.

A girl was currently making some magic potion. Her face was just ordinary but her eyes shows some intellect. She was about twenty years old.

Tons of ingredients were scattered on the table. But if you observe carefully, mostly of the ingredients were poisonous.

At the right side of the table was a chairwhere a red hood was placed on.Of course, the girl was none other than the Mage who provided Madam Garcy the poisonous wine and cast the spell who made the Duke's first daughter on the verge of death.

Her client was continously increasing. She smiled wickedly. This is power. If you are strong you can make everyone bow to you.

She was one of the highest ranking Mage in the Green Kingdom. But contrary to other Mages who choose to serve the royal family, she choose to use her power for herself.

She continued to put ingredients to her potion bottle and a strong smell was coming from it.

"Woah,what a strong smell of poison. Quite deligent aren't we?"

She flinch upon hearing a girl's voice coming from behind. She right away cast her power to capture the intruder.
