The Duke's Adopted Daughter

The Wolves continue to grimace in pain. Some of them actually has blood oozing out from their Orifice. The Duke look at them with a look of shock in his face. He then turn to Louise. The pressure was then lift up and the packs were now able to move their body while still struggling to get up.

The wolves leader also struggled to get up and now looking at the now smiling Louise. But now his face contain fear and vigilance towards the girl.

"We both know that we don't want to waste time with each other. I also don't want to use my Magic to you folks. So.."

" They are at the entrance of the Mystical Forest. Those people were useless to us. They are weaklings wether they are alive or dead is no longer part of our concern. We were leaving."

The wolf leader answered and afterwhich he dashed away followed by his packs.

"Let's go." Louise urge the Duke after they were left behind.

"Leader, are we going to leave them just like that?"

One of the wolf asked the wolf leader. They are currently running from the two

people earlier.

The wolf leader snorted.

"If you want to stay behind then you can. Haven't you notice that she held back earlier?

If she's serious then we were all done for. You all listen up. Stay away from that girl.

She's dangerous.

Awhile later.

Both Duke Gerald and Louise arrived at the entrance of the Mystical Forest. All of the twenty four guards that were with the Duke who were 'lucky' enough to just received injuries and no one died.

"Seems like the wolves were kind enough to not to kill them." Louise commented then she turn to the Duke. "I don't want any of them to see me." She walks towards the near carriage that has the Duke's symbol on it before she stop and wave her hand.

A bluish aura envelope all the guards and slowly healed their injuries. Afterwhich she entered the carriage.
