During the Great Maelstrom Crusade, many Tallarn regiments participated in the fighting. After the crusade ended, some regiments returned to their homeworld, bringing back many glorious victories and stories from the Great Maelstrom Crusade, which spread the fame of the Astral Knights in Tallarn. Therefore, these warriors from the desert were happy to accept the command of the Astral Knights company commanders.

Although the three Tallarn regiments were all armored regiments, the Tallarn armored regiments were divided into two types: one was the assault armored regiment, which was the largest in scale, generally with tens of thousands of soldiers, with relatively fewer main battle tanks and super-heavy tanks, and more artillery; the other was the mobile armored regiment, which was smaller in scale but had the most tanks.

The tanks of the Tallarn 23rd Armored Regiment were also running at full power, charging straight towards Dark Iron Hold in a standard siege formation, bombarding the enemy's defensive positions and equipment with fierce firepower.

With the help of the corrected servitor skulls, 48 Basilisk self-propelled artillery pieces accurately launched projectiles, blasting the Ork-modified defensive turrets into pieces one by one. Hundreds of Leman Russ tanks fired shells, blasting open the damaged parapets and obstacles on the road ahead, creating conditions for the subsequent advance of the Chimera armored vehicles.

The Orks did not realize that they might be attacked, and they were unable to resist such a fierce offensive. The Tallarn 21st Armored Regiment rushed into the city almost without any resistance.

Once inside the city, the Leman Russ Demolishers began to show their power. This variant of the Leman Russ was specifically designed for siege warfare and urban combat. Its main weapon was a short-barreled Demolisher cannon, which could efficiently destroy buildings and fortifications, as well as the enemies hiding within. Its side-mounted weapons were two heavy flamers, used to deal with enemies who might be hiding in the ruins when advancing through narrow terrain. Thirty Leman Russ Demolishers were like giant bulldozers, charging forcefully along the roads full of wreckage and building ruins, while Chimera armored vehicles followed closely behind, unloading the infantry inside when encountering resistance or reaching key positions. Although many of them were still full of fighting spirit due to their barbaric war lust, the command was completely chaotic. Some wanted to fight, some wanted to retreat. The Mekboy guarding this place tried hard to drive the invaders out of his territory, but the subordinates either couldn't be contacted or simply didn't listen to orders, making the Mekboy stomp his feet in the forge temple - his Giga-Gargant was only five or six tenths complete, and abandoning it now would completely ruin it!
