The Fallen Consort

"Ling'er.. I do.. You know I do.." King Jin wanted to move closer to her, but he couldn't. Meiling's aura was still making him unable to move his feet, only arm can.

"LIES! She came to see me! She told me everything! That you promise to come back to her! Once you have taken my heart away from me!" You could see the pain in Meiling's face. She was trying so hard to keep a stern face. She didn't wanna cry, not right now.

Yi Ling on the other hand, was crying nonstop. She could feel Meiling bottling her emotions. It was as if Yi Ling was Meiling.

Learning the cause of Meiling's change, it dawn into him. It was her, she gave the dagger to her. Does that mean, that the King is still unable to come here himself?

"Ling'er, let me explain. please." If she want him to beg, he will beg.

Meiling's eyes stared at King Jin's palm. She stretched her left hand and held his right hand. She made him hold on to the dagger, tightly as he could. Her aura was preventing him from doing anything else.

King Jin stared at Meiling with shock. He couldn't understand what she was up to.

Meiling let her hand go and walked closer to him. She was now only inches away, while King Jin's arm was still stretched out.

Meiling whispered, that only he could hear.

"I can't kill you." Her hand touched his left cheek and gave him a quick kiss on the right.

"But you can kill me. Kill me and I will not be a danger to your world. Kill me and you will be free. You can take my heart to your King and you will be pardoned. Kill me or I'll kill everyone that you love and cherish." Meiling's black eyes, stared into him.

King Jin's body wouldn't cooperate with him. He finally knew where this is going. She wanted to die. To kill her Deity Body. A tear fell down on King Jin's eyes. He had never cried before. Not for his family, not the King and not for the Girl that Meiling is accusing him for loving.

"Ling'er, please don't. I love you. I do love you. I love you more than my own life. I did all this for you. I didn't want you to fall into the King's hand! He will only make you suffer!

I have love you every since I met you too. Please believe me. I have never love anyone else. You and only you alone." King Jin was now crying. He didn't want this outcome. He brought Meiling to this place, in order to escape. Escape her Destiny! And also, for his own selfish thinking. He thought that Meiling loved the King. He didn't know that Meiling had always loved him. He only thought that it was because of her lost memories. That she fell in love with him, because they were always together in this place.

"I didn't know that you love me. I'm sorry for hurting you. But had to do it. I just had to." He was shaking now. He wanted to throw the dagger in his hand, as far as possible. Yet he can't, Meiling was stronger than him. She kept him in place.

Hearing his words, it hurt Meiling's heart.

"I don't believe you." She whispered.

Meiling's black eyes closed, as her aura pulled on King Jin's hand into her back.

Meiling didn't screamed, she endured the pain. The Dagger penetrated her heart , from the back. The Divine Harmony Bow was a bit ways from them. Qianru wasn't able to hear there conversation, as they were whispering to each other. Only the sight of King Jin, stabbing her back.

"NOOOOO! NOOOOOO! LING'ERRR!! NOOOO! WHY.. WHYYY!?????" King Jin yelled. Soon later, he felt the aura released him.

Meiling fell down and King Jin caught her body. He laid her head on his left cut arm.

"Why? Why? Ling'er. You can't leave me.. please. not now.. not ever.." King Jin's voice was wavering. His tears were flowing non-stop. He could care less that he look unmanly right now. Right now, his love one was dying. And yet he knew, there was no saving her.

"If you really.. love me.. Live.. I want you to live.. and maybe.. Just maybe.. I will see you.. again.." Meiling was coughing with blood. She lost all her strength. The dagger would've kill her instantly, but King Jin was able to slightly move him hand earlier. Making the dagger hit only the bottom part of her heart. Leaving a hole, only making her losing blood fast. But sooner, it will kill her. No magic or medicine can patch the hole in her heart.
