Muxin wiped her tears away and continued his story.

Muxin pulled his wife into his arms. He had been saving these words for her. No matter how long it would take, All he knew was that their destiny wasn't over yet.

Yi Ling felt her heart warm by his confessions. Yet, she couldn't come up with a good reply. Her mind was still entangled by the fact of he had fallen for her, way before she did.

"Ling'er, will you allow me become your husband again? I may had lied and hurt you, but all it was to protect you. If you decided that you no longer want me now, I will respect that. I totally understand that I deserve it." Muxin hugged Yi Ling harder, afraid for her answer.

"Muxin, How did you split yourself apart?" Yi Ling asked. She felt that the story didn't end just yet. "Did he sacrificed yourself to save me?"

"Silly girl. I would always sacrificed myself in order to save you, but no I didn't. My fears came true and triggered your slumbered powers within you.

You remembered your hatred from me and became powerful and unreasonable. But since you just gave birth, it seems like your powers were too unstable. It clouded your mind and your judgement.

You cursed me to stay here with my memories with Hualing. Leaving my body clueless. Luckily, I was able to preserve the part of my memory that I loved a certain person and that we had child together. I would've hated myself If I forget those

"I cursed you? Then what happened?" Yi Ling asked, she stayed within his embrace.

"Before the cursed took placed, I was able to seal your soul into 7 seals. Allowing you to safely reincarnated and to remove your memories. Or else, your soul would've really dispersed when the cursed place.

It was risky, but I had to jump at the chance. As I've said, You're the only one that mattered to me."

"That's why you knew how to break my seals?"

"Sort of. I've never sealed anyone before. It was one of the things that I've learned, when I was looking for a solution to stop triggering your powers."

"What is the requirements for unlocking my fourth seal?" Yi Ling finally withdrew slightly and looked at his blue eyes.

"You will need to make a pill. The ingredients would need you to venture out into the high Spiritual beasts territories. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly where they are. Only a vogue guess."

"Okay, that shall be it then." Yi Ling nodded.

"I thought you were looking for your mother? Have you found her yet?"

"No, I've never really have gotten the chance to. I was busy cultivating myself." She explained.

"I will help you." He promised.

"En." Yi Ling finally smiled warmly. Somehow, knowing helped her feel relief. Though she hated Muxin at some point, she never doubted him. She knew that Muxin would never hurt her, this was something that she couldn't explain.
