The Fallen Consort

Not that she didn't want to accept more disciples, just that it was unexpected. Based on Doctor Li's background, he was highly sought out in all Mid-Rank Kingdom. He was an enigmatic doctor who travels the land by his whim and mood. He didn't like to stay in one spot nor pledge his alliance to any powers or sects. He was obsessed with medicine and so he tries to push his knowledge to its limit.

Coming to the Blue Rose Sect was because of his curiosity. He was one of the doctors who had examined the current Emperor's previous dilemma. Even he was unable to find the source problem nor how to cure it. Hearing that the Blue Rose Sect's Master was the one who healed the Emperor, he was extremely curious. Unfortunately, the Sect's location was highly confidential. Everyone tries to locate it but was unable to find it. Even if one went to the peak of the Red Pass Mountain, he or she would not see the sect. Later on, he knew that unless one of the Sect Members personally brought you in, one would only then see the Sect. If not, one would be lost in an illusion barrier. This was later on added after the Sect Master left, with the help of Muxin himself.

Entering the Sect was Doctor Li's goal, to get close to the Sect Master. However, his plans changed after meeting the elusive man. The more he interacted with the Sect Master through whenever he shares his knowledge to them, the more he admired the person. His curiosity became admiration.

Kneeling in front of the public was no easy feat for someone who is a Master Doctor. Regardless, he wanted to acknowledge this Holy Doctor in front of him as his Master. Even though Doctor Li doesn't know the real age or the real Cultivation stage of the Sect Master, he didn't care. All he knew is that this person was a real Holy Doctor. Medicine was Doctor Li's calling.

"Please take me in, Grandmaster Yi!" He yelled out once more while kowtowing.

Yi Ling looked at Doctor Li Zhuan, she helpless on this situation. She was extremely busy already, adding a new disciple would get her busier! What if another pops out if she accepted this?

Amid her thoughts, Muxin speaks up. "His skills aren't bad. Although he is old, you could always help him with his breakthrough to prolong his life span. Since you are planning to leave the sect again, it wouldn't be bad to leave some responsible people behind."

Instead of replying, Yi Ling fell on deep thought. What Muxin had said was true, it wouldn't be bad at all. Based on her observations, Doctor Li Zhuan was indeed knowledgeable. Not only so, he was also honest and firm with his decisions.

The Sect Master's silence made everyone nervous, especially Doctor Li Zhuan who was still on the floor kowtowing.

"Rise and follow me." Yi Ling turned around and directly went back to the Sect's Main Hall.

Hearing the Sect Master's words, Doctor Li Zhuan instantly got up and followed behind. He neither received an acceptance nor a rejection. It made him more nervous than he already was.

"Do you think that the Sect Master would accept him as his disciple?"

"I say, he would get accepted!"

"Not all might know but I heard that this late years, Doctor Li had been starting to get his name known in the High-Rank Kingdom."

Everyone inhaled sharply. If this is true, Doctor Li's skills would be above the rest of the Master Doctors in the Sect!

Inside the Sect's Main Hall, Yi Ling was seated at the main seat while Doctor Li Zhuan standing below. He was silently and obediently standing, waiting for the Holy Doctor's reply.

"Why did decided to seek my guidance?" Yi Ling male voice echoed inside the hall. There wasn't any living soul in the hall aside from the two.

Hearing that question, Doctor Li Zhuan cupped his fist and slightly bow. "I, Li Zhuan, had been around in Huaxia for almost a hundred years. In this life, I only seek knowledge and pursue Medicine. I vow to save as many people as I can and help eradicate diseases throughout the land.

I have recently figured out that the Sect Master is not a Grandmaster Doctor but a Holy Doctor. With the Holy Doctor's guidance, I wish to grow my knowledge as your disciple and pledge my alliance to the Sect." A sweat formed on his forehead as he said these words. Heaven knows how nervous he was right now.

"You know how to speak smoothly. Very well, I will give you a chance. Prove it to me that you are worthy of my guidance. If you are, then I shall accept you as my disciple." Yi Ling neither admitted that she was a Holy Doctor. Based on the memories of Yang Hualing, she pretty much could say that she indeed was. There was no debating about it.

Doctor Li Zhuan's eyes glimmered with delight and look towards the Sect Master. "Please, give me your orders Master." He bowed again.

By now, Yi Ling was used to being called Master so she didn't refuted it. "I shall send you to the Xiang Palace and wait there for further instructions. You may leave the Sect as soon as you can. This shall me your mask for the meantime." Yi Ling waved her sleeves and a mask floated towards Li Zhuan.

As his hands received the mask, he saw that the mask was half white and half black. Unlike the Sect Master's half gold and half silver. "Thank you, Master. I shall bid farewell and wait for your further instructions." He cupped his fist.

"En." Yi Ling responded.

He bowed respectfully and left. Excited for his days ahead! He had never regretted that he hadn't able to pledge his alliance to anyone before. Becoming the Holy Doctor's disciple was a blessing. The only Holy Doctor in Huaxia!
