The Fallen Consort

Ever since King Jin arrived in Blue Rose Sect, things had been extremely exhausting to Yi Ling.

Don't get me wrong, everything is going smoothly and progressing in a much better way. Just that, inside Yi Ling mind; she was conflicted between two people.

Although they are the same person, they had different personalities and different looks. One would certainly feel that they aren't the same person at all! Not only to Yi Ling but also their son Jin Minzhe. They haven't gone to an all-out war against each other, but they all could feel the tension.

For example, Yi Ling had to deal with these two along with her new journey. Although King Jin mentioned that he could easily find the Spiritual Herbs that Yi Ling needed for her seals, Yi Ling didn't want to obtain it that way.

She wanted to experience the world and she also needed to gain some fighting experience. This will make her body and mind perfectly in sync. As well as being able to judge with the use of her instincts.

For this journey, she only wanted to bring Qianru. King Jin wanted to tag along, reasoning that he had been separated from his wife for a long time. He wanted to make up for it. Jin Minzhe wanted to come too but was declined by King Jin. Why would he need his son to be the third wheel? He didn't even want to bring along Qianru, but it was his wife's decision. Along with this, she also brought the Sapphire Jade Ring. This made King Jin's mouth twitching for a couple of days.

They detested each other. Although they were the same person, they both didn't feel like they were. With this kind of thought, it was inevitable to find peace. Luckily, King Jin had an advantage. His other self was stuck inside the ring and could never get out. Since this journey would be mostly spent on a dangerous situation, Yi Ling would hardly have the time to go inside the Ring.

Since King Jin made the Ring, he could also block out Muxin's way of observing the outside world. Hindering him from ruining their time together. Qianru was easier to deal with since he can just stuff her inside the Ring.

With this set of mind, King Jin traveled with Yi Ling towards the High Ranked Spiritual Beast Territories. Since time was at the essence, they didn't dawdle along the way. Also, to help Yi Ling gain experience; King Jin helped her block her aura. Allowing the Spiritual Beasts not to recognize her as their goddess.

In their journey, Yi Ling felt that she somewhat cheated on Muxin. Since the two have different personalities, she can't get it over her mind to think that their the same.

At the moment, Yi Ling squatted down near the river to wash her face. It had been two months when Jin Minzhe left and brought King Jin to Huaxia. After their confrontation, she instantly left with him and it had been a month now.

Each time, King Jin had been gentle with her. It was the same Yang Hualing's memories of him as her husband, as well as the gentleness that she felt when Yi Ling stumbled upon him. Although he was gentle, his gentleness was different from Muxin.

With Muxin, there was some sort of like a parent gaze. Watching their child learn and grow up. There were love and affection, but also hesitation. Unlike King Jin, his gentleness was filled with passion. A passion for a lover and not from a parent.

Sometimes, King Jin's love eyes scare the heck out of her! In this life, it was not her that was running towards him. It was him running towards her. Not like she hated it, just that she wasn't used to it still.

Whatever her second life went through, it was still a different person. In this life, she was Yi Ling. She decided to cut off and not be affected by her previous lives. Only by thinking like this, would she felt like herself.

So her mindset with King Jin was only up until their courting stage. When she stumbled upon him during the time that she unlocked her second seal.

"Ling'er?" A warm male voice resounded behind her.

Yi Ling stood up and turned around. King Jin had a yellow-spotted beast on his shoulder. It looks like a mutation between a tiger and a wolf. If it was alive, It would have the power of a third rank of Emergent Stage.

Although King Jin didn't need to eat, he still had to feed his wife. They had arrived inside one of the 7 high-rank Spiritual Beasts Territories for a week now. Every time they encountered Spiritual Beasts, he only stayed behind her and watch her handle it. Since she wanted some fighting experience, he allowed her to do as she wishes. Whenever things got out of her hand, only then will he act to save her. So far, there haven't any cases yet.

Yi Ling smiled and look at the prey that he caught. She could see his loving gaze to her. One would become envious if they saw it. At this time, they haven't seen any other person. They had always avoided towns and cities. So far, King Jin had never felt any burden. He could easily set up a tent by the wave of his sleeves. So they didn't need any sort of shelter. Even if they do, they could easily go inside the Ring.

Only, she felt very lucky to have such a loving companion. Between her feelings towards King Jin and Muxin. She was more inclined to King Jin. She loves his stubbornness and the dark expressions on his face. Unlike Muxin who was always calm and resolute.

For her, King Jin felt like a real person and Muxin was like a real Deity.
